Compared to the GS2 I like it more for sure... Seems smoother and battery SEEMS better. Will be able to get to test signal and more today.

Note is very large. This one looks like Epic Touch or Evo LTE in size.
How quickly does GPS lock? Phone is absolutely beautiful I can't wait to get my hands on one.

It isn't much larger than my S2.
As far as aesthetics...I think it looks better than the S2 but isn't quite as nice to hold (due to material not shape)
i jammed my g2 in the g3's tpu last night its almost the same size :victory:

It is quite beautiful. I was worried that the pebble blue wouldn't look as good as the white one. But once I held it in my hand I was very impressed.
Im coming from the Evo 3D and this thing is thin, light, and ninja fast. Bluetooth has connected quickly to my car stereo and streams music without a problem.
I haven't tested the GPS yet.

I have to agree about that Dictator movie. That looked funny. I was messing with my Nexus during some commercials and missed the Sammy one. Thanks! Edit...interesting.. I have been using this firm sponge like tipped stylus on my Epic Touch for a few weeks and I love it. Obviously I can't write on the screen but between that and my Bluetooth, my phone stays immaculate

I do not think people are going to realize how big the Note really is from that commercial and anyone who thinks it is the same size as your larger phone will be in for a big surprise.
I wear my phone on a belt clip and for some reason I do not see that happening with the Galaxy note. I would like to know for the people who plan on getting the Note how they plan on carrying it.

I messed with a 5" Galaxy (forgot the name) and was wondering where things are headed. I think the Epic Touch is the perfect size. Oh and some terrible pics of the stylus I use on my phones

john they are much different. this is like a pro level stylus that uses magnetic input. almost like on the touch pro type of screen accurate only now it is also a cap screen instead of resistive.
Reminds me a bit of the Motorola Xoom commercial last year. Although this one rags on Apple fans more blatantly.
Like others, I think the Galaxy Note is just too big. Even the E4GT is pushing it for me, although it's thinness and light weight help a bit. Plus I would not carry the stylus with me, which defeats one of the purposes of buying the Note. It looks like a cool phone but just isn't for me.

The stylus slips into the back of the phone....can't even really tell its there....of it wasn't for the GS3 coming out I would get it....got to play with one a few days ago.....it would definatly fit in the average back pocket.....feels thinner than my E4GT

Today we had to take an online training for the sprint galaxy nexus...I kept trying to worm a release date out of my higher ups but their very tight lipped :x or maybe they don't know lol

Agreed...however, for me personally it would replace my tablet entirely. although I am guilty. I am also a musician and am seriously considering an ipad3 purely for garageband :x

My friend, apples BS is for the birds don't get me started on what I say to the customers about the iPhone rofl. But for what I need it for it fits the bill nicely. Do you know of an app comparable to garageband for Droid?
Probably give them both a try just to pass time until the GS3 surfaces...

Most likely the galaxy nexus will be released on the 22nd of this month.
I have cm9 alpha2 so it's basically feels too me like i have the nexus in my hands lol

I can't keep a device for more than six months, it's a problem. But I can't see getting the nexus at this point. If it does have the 4470 in it, I may halfheartedly consider it. But I'm really liking the gs2...I think I'll be keeping this thing for a while as I don't trust/expect Sprint to get lte to my home or work area any time soon. And I'm definitely not in the country.

Honestly, I never saw a use for an iPad, until I bit the bullet and bought GarageBand for my nephews to try it out. It's amazing, and is the only thing that would make me even consider an iPad.
although, I'm still not going to buy one. lol
As for the Galaxy Nexus.. I'm waiting for the GS3, I'm very happy with my phone.

The note even tho the screen size isn't too much bigger than the et4g my dad has one and I like it alot its a pretty cool device and not as huge as it seems the smart stylus I think is the coolest feature its very accurate when drawing or writing and u just flip it over to erase when u make an oppsie

The IP5 may indeed spank the SGSIII in some people's eyes, they do get to have a standard to go against now, it's an endless game of leapfrog and trying to raise the bar.

Won't iPhone 5 be released like 4-5 months after initial international release of S3? That's an eternity for technology. I'd sure hope it beats the S3 handily.

I do believe the iPhone 5 will be a nice device but remember these are the same people that convinced iPhone 4 owners that they needed to by an iPhone 4S because of Siri and people actually believed they owned the best device because of this.
Luckily Android users are smarter then that and do not buy into the whole hype building from these manufacturer's. We need to see the worth in the upgrade or a lot of us will not spend the money like iHippies.
Plus we already saw what iOS 6 is bringing to the table, one of the main focuses is Siri fixes. lol

I'm happy to say that I bough a Galaxy S 3. This is way better than the Epic 4g touch I love it so far. It's so pretty. The screen is beautiful. It makes the epic 4g touch screen look dull imo.

I don't think any phone I have had was as hard to root as the mytouch slide. What a pain in the ass that was lol. But I would say this phone is deff better that. The epic touch. That was a good pone though

I can definitely relate to the O.P's excitement. I lucked out and scored mine new in box and sealed for $400, 16GB Pebble blue. Rooted, CWM and running FreeGS3 ROM. Got a nice TPU smoke case on eBay for $5.95.

When I was in the store playing with the s3 I compared the screen to the epic 4g touch and was like wow the e4gt screen is so ugly compared to the s3. I just had to get the s3 lol its day 3 and im in love with this phone. Best phone that I ever owned. And its waaay better than the iphone lol

I got mine on Tuesday and haven't been able to put the damn thing down lol.
I love mine.. have probably spent as much as I did for the phone in accessories already lol... otterbox defender case taken the otterbox screen off and put on an hd invisishield. Added a 64GB ext sd chip and bought a commuter box for backup.. bought the otg usb cable plus the Mhl hdmi adapter as well. This thing is tricked out nice
Oh and buying several Nfc chips and the wireless charger once it's out as well as already bought a wireless Bluetooth sixaxis ps3 controller I synced to the phone to use with games... people at my work do a double take and are sooo jealous when they see me playing N.O.V.A. 3, Shadowgun or just good old emulator games using the s3 and a wireless controller or just hook up the mhl hdmi adapter and play on a 32 inch LCD tv as well lol...
