[ROM][GSM Universal]{7.11.2012} redruM Lean Stock 4.0.4 - Release 4 - T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy SIII

Before I even introduce the ROM, I'd like to give a special thanks to FiveOhFox for basically taking every step with me along the way. We bounced ideas off each other back and fourth for basically three straight days before we had a booting ROM. Also, it is his updater-script that I'm using in order for this to work, so, thank you!
There were also a few other people who offered advice, both directly and indirectly, that I'd like to thank, and if I miss anybody I apologize!!

There's nothing there yet. I'm still trying to find the install abort error.
Five is looking further into it as I'm stuck.
For those who may be able to help, it appears it could potentially have to do something with the /tools/edify_defs folder needing it's own file for our phone since the kitchen does not have the file already. The issue with that, is, I'm not sure of the mounting points and such.
If anyone wants to chime in, feel free. I'm a little over my head at this point.
I have an idea or two to try, but if those don't work, I'm stumped.

I believe status 6 is an error in either the updated script or the build prop, make sure everything is correct, don't try yo get fancy with anything and make things as simple as possible, if you could upload the updated script I might be able to help

I've attached it. This is the updater-script the Cygwin Kitchen produced itself.

Seems to be the mounts , I don't really know what to change it could be multiple things :/

I would check out the mounts it could be due to that as it was generated by Kitchen.
You need to set the points for the device.

Yeah, that's what we're in the middle of doing now.
We have to find all the proper mounting points for our phone first. We're so close.
I'm about to start Kamikaze building as well, because we're only off by 1 mounting point (we think at least). Just start doing what Five is doing and guessing the last mount point until we get it lol.

Five should know and he should be able to help you.
Once this is done can you shoot me a PM?

Not to be a thorn but wouldn't somewhere like Q&A be a better place for this ....rather than cluttering up your rom development before you even have one? Just a thought.

If you guys want to flash the ROM do this.. Go into the ROM zip...META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script...open with Notepad or similar and change "toro"
to "toroplus"
there are two "toro"s that you need to change, and both are at the very beginning of the text.

[ROM] KEBBERSROM V1.4 (Feb-04-2013) Based on Stock 4.0.3

KEBBERSROM V1.4
Note - This is likely the last update for this ROM
Current Version
Download HERE
Old Version
V1.3 here
This is based on the newest official STOCK rom from Acer: Acer_AV041_A100_1.037.00_WW_GEN1
I created this ROM because it seemed nobody had a custom one based on Acer's latest official release, plus there aren't too many ROMs for this tab at all, so hopefully this can help refresh some interest.
It is intended to be as stable as possible, coming from the latest official Acer OTA release. If there are any bugs in it please let me know, as this is my first ROM, so things might not be perfect yet, however I have been unable to come across any bugs and am using this as my DD.
Features:
- Rooted
- Deodexed
- Latest Superuser.apk
- Busybox
- Godmachine version 2.0 kernel (can be overclocked with app)
- 1% Battery Icon
- build.prop edits and init.d scripts for better responsiveness
- all Acer Bloatware has been removed
- Acer Print Application
- V6supercharger
- Google Now (thanks to the folks here and to Civato For telling me how to make it work, while keeping TTS functionality)
- Acer Ring
- Asus Keyboard
- Awesome BEATS
- Entropy Seeder
DISCLAIMER: I will not be held responsible if this borks your system! Remember the risks of flashing custom ROMS!
Tested and working fine installing from CWM5.5.0.4, I have yet to try it on TWRP
Instructions:

12/27/12 - v0.2 released. A minor update: S Suggest was removed and OTA updates added
12/19/12 - v0.1 - Initial release!
Hello XDA.
Welcome to seeARMS' custom stock ROM. This ROM is based on the official VLDLK4 Bell release. The purpose of this ROM is to provide a functional, high-performance custom ROM with excellent battery life, without sacrificing any features which turn your smartphone into just a phone. This ROM is certainly not a barebones ROM with the majority of apps removed; nor is it a feature-packed ROM with a ton of unnecessary things bogging down your phone. Instead, this ROM opts to be in the middle: it provides a good balance of features and performance.
If you have any questions before, during, or after flashing this ROM, please read the first few posts, as I'll try to be answering the majority of common issues / questions users may have. If, after reading them, your question remains unanswered, then please post in this thread ensuring you're as detailed as possible.
Also, if you have any feature requests, please feel free to let me know.
Features
Fully deodexed and zipaligned
Pre-rooted with the latest busybox/superuser installed
Fully updated system apps
Bloatware removed
Boot sounds removed
Added init.d support
Added /data/app/ support
4-Way Reboot Menu
15 Toggles
CPUSleeper Script
ktoonsez' custom kernel
Added CyanogenMod ringtones / notification sounds
Added Nexus 4 ringtones / notification sounds
Disabled camera shutter sounds
Optional SuperCharger V6 Script
Added Applications
Replaced stock Email app with AOSP Email app
KTweaker (for kernel tweaking)
Android 4.2 keyboard
Removed Applications
AllShare
ChatON
Dropbox
Flipboard
Samsung OTA Updates
Gamehub
Google Books
Google Plus
Google TV & Videos
Samsung Apps, Samsung Account, S Suggest
VideoHub
Note: If you'd like to install any of these removed apps, see the 2nd post for instructions.
If you like this ROM and are interested in supporting me, then a simple "Thanks" would suffice. Also, please try to help out others on the XDA forums - we were all newbs once, and it can be quite overwhelming, being introduced to everything Android.
Oh, and the mandatory, "like my work, buy me a beer" way of supporting would also be cool.

This lag is simply Samsung Voice checking to see if you're going to press the home key twice. To get rid of this lag, open S Voice (double press the home button), go to Settings, then uncheck "Open via the home key".

Thanks for the update and the effort for releasing another great ROM for S3 users. Do we have the AOSP email included in this ROM?
this looks promising Going to give it a go since the current rom I have is no longer being updated. wishlisting the 3/4 reboot menu features too
Excellent another Canadian rom eh?Gonna be flashing right away.Cant wait for the updates.
ROM is running great. When I flashed it, I lost my recovery somehow. The other thing I noticed, it is the i747M base. I didn't notice it in the OP but all is running good. Thanks for your work.

Short Info
I decided to build a initial version of broodROM AOSP. the main concept is a slimmed down version of the Google Edition ROM, the core Google apps are all up to date (because you don't want to update ~6-9 apps every time you install a new version). Next to that I added the brood touch to it of course, this means it has unique features compared to other roms and includes built in extra's. I took proper care of the simcard bug (100% unstuckable)
Installation:
1. Download latest release
2. Put zip on internal or external sdcard
3. Reboot in recovery (from device off: hold volume up + power until you see the blue text in the left corner of the screen) (or 'adb reboot recovery)
4. If coming from an other rom please do a factory reset for best results
5. Install the rom zip. once its completed you're done, enjoy the rom!
Features:
- Based on JellyBean AOSP 4.2.2 Google Edition (JDQ39.I9505GUEUAMFD)
- Rooted
- Deodexed
- Zipaligned
- Init.d support
- No Adds (hosts file)
- broodKernel v1.3 (o3) with Fixed MTP, LPM Charge
- Settings menu hooks:
-- broodParts Lite (Manage your CPU & I/O Settings)
-- InstaVOLT (Manage the CPU voltages)
-- CyanogenMod DSP Manager (Equalizer and audio effects)
-- Backup Manager (Easy and fast ondemand nandroid backup)
- Extended Power Menu with 4 Way Reboot (thnx to smaberg)
-- Combined with my own Special Sim Unstucker (100% success, because of raw "pkill -f -TERM" instead of crashing framework)
- Terminal Emulator
- CyanogenMod cLock
- Redesigned Launcher2 hotseat to match normal layout and replaced clock widget with cLock

edit: just found that chrome is freezing because of outdated module (apk is newer then module in /system/lib), adding it to the bugtracker.
to fix:
manually: open GoogleChrome.apk in /system/app and extract the module from the apk, place it in /system/lib and you're done.
Or lazy mod, install this cwm zip: www.broodplank.net/files/libchromeview.so.zip
