WORKING SKINOMI LINK -- and it's $.99 + $2.95 shipping, but still not bad, and it beats the $16 + $2.95 for the others with the back skin if you don't need it.
Just ordered one as well, since I'll have my phone before SGP has their new SGP Ultra Nano in stock and shipped

Thanks.. Just picked one up. Even with the $2.95 shipping... its a bargain!

Thanks for pointing that out. I guess I failed at copy/paste
OP is updated

Thanks op for this deal. Was about to order one from the regular site but you saved me around 6 or 7 bucks.

I wonder if they're blowing it out because of the curved screen and they fubar'd their first attempt at making a screen protector.

Me too, they did the 99 cent thing for the HTC One X early on and people gobbled them up. Overwhelming majority of reviews were negative and some concluded that the batch was defective which explained the price slash.

Interesting. Well I guess there's 3-4 of us who will know for sure. I'd be happy to come back in here and let yall know if it's a screw up when mine comes in the mail.

I have this screen protector in my s3 and it sticks pretty well to the screen. My only complain is the orange peel effect

I ordered one of these. Hopefully the orange peel isn't too bad. I currently have the realook one installed but when I put my cruzerlite case on the edges start to come up.

I've always wondered if these types of protectors provide more protection than the hard/dry protectors

Seems like you guys maybe right. I just got mine in today and the film was kind of stuck to the plastic bag it was in which resulted in some weird bubble imprints on the top of the screen protector. I'll try to get a picture up tomorrow. I'm letting it sit overnight to see if the weird markings on it come out.

I just applied mine last night and after a nights dry, it seems a bit on the tacky side. Its not as smooth as I would like, kinda hard to swipe. But I will give this a day or 2 more to fully dry and judge from there.

They don't provide more or less, they seem to be on par.
The real differences are how long they last. Skimomi type repair themselves, can take hits that would usually damage the dry hard type, doesn't usually peel off if applied correctly. That's why most have a lifetime warranty. And the reason they come singular or in a two pack (mostly if you mess up installation, you have that spare), but not 3-5 packs, because you're gonna have to put another one on in a few weeks...
This has been my experience..

Just put mine on, the orange peal is much smoother than the original Zagg on my inspire, however the holes don't fit perfectly, they fit, just not as well as i would like.
Immediately after install any white on the screen looks very pixelated with a rainbow of colors, anyone else get this? Does it go away? Please tell me it goes away, if not i am going to rip it off right now.

Not the best but great value. Xtreme Guard.
1 - Yes, Evo, Epic, Blackberry's, Galaxy S II and my other devices.
2 - They say it's Ultra Clear now. Didn't see this new label on the previous ones. Maybe it's a new type of film.
3 - I just ordered 5.
4 - Yes, wet application.
.99 cents on Amazon. Free shipping and Alan, the seller is a great guy. I always get them through him.

Xtreme Guard is basically a ZAGG Invisible Shield clone. They just don't do the fancy packaging, spray bottle and squeegee. They don't have the over head and costs as ZAGG. They also don't have a lifetime warranty. But for the price, you can purchase 6 - 10 screen protectors for the same price of the ZAGG. You'll go through 2-3 tops and it's a annoying process to get a replacement. They request CC info and all, then expect you to send back the original.
I worked at Best Buy and had them on my phones since the LG Dare days.
Just save the money and get the Xtreme Guard. It offers the same protection.

So he refunded me right away with zero hassle or any trouble.

Without a doubt, Skinomi. One of my favorite companies to deal with as well. Stellar products.
I've used the Flex HD but the orange peel effect is kind of annoying. The adhesive used, as it dries up, turns into a rainbow colored crystal blotches and it just ruins the clarity of the stock screen. They are not readily visible but tilting your phone at certain angles will make them show up. I also used the Zagg Invisible Shield but the adhesive did not work well for me after I put on the Cruzerlite case. The case, due to its tight fit, lifted all the corners of the Zagg off the phone:crying: so now its removed. For $20 from BB, you only get one film. I am waiting for the Steinheil Nano right now. I believe this a dry application and is cut smaller than the screen.

Skinomi Techskin. I've used about 6 of them and I've loved every one. When you put it on it feels like nothing is there at all. It repairs itself too. Plus they have lifetime warranties on them, so you can order a replacement super cheap instead of buying a whole new one.

I have no problems with it. I could take a picture of the phone now that its been on for nearly 2 weeks now. its smooth, no blemishes, fits nicely, cut is pretty spot on.....
the only hitch i had was using a generic case, it would peel the edge/corners but I quickly got rid of that case and got another, even now you cant tell the other case peeled it up, the skin has the same finish and look on all parts of it.
I feel like a salesperson for XtremeGuards, I am that happy with it.

+1 on that...
the cut out is perfect..not sure what the other member meant. as long as it doesnt go OVER the edge then it shouldnt have a problem with peeling...
also worth mentioning is that their customer service is REALLY good. mine came and they missed the back piece. emailed them, got back to me within a day and had the replacement mailed already. to my surprise when it came they also threw in an extra front piece.
thanks

Fantastic find....... But I already bought the Zagg sheild.
Actually picked one up for my S3 already but like the one that I put on first. So I got another one plus one for my Tab 10.1. Five bucks total with free shippng. Hell of a deal. Figure I'll put one on the Tab first to see if it's worth yanking the one on my S3 off or not. We'll see!

Protector quality overall isnt the best ........plus with the screen protector you dont even get the solution ....you have to make your own solution with soap water....i actually used a left over from zagg I ordered both the front and the back ...and putting the back protector is a pain ...the front one aint that bad....i would though honestly prefer zagg any day over it ...specially if yuo pay the full retail of $10

Ordered from them many times before...I never pay more than 70% off. Just bought it at 75% off yesterday. They cut the film...sometimes you will get defective film or the computer incorrectly cuts it. Just email them..they will send you out replacement for free...no shipping charges. A couple times they shorted me some items...email them and got them in a few days.
Personally, I rather pay $2.50 for full body protector than $20-30 for Zaggs. For ~$2 I can several in case I mess up.
I just installed my xtreme guard today. I've had it on every phone and tablet I have ever owned.
I order from eBay as they have eBay account and it's dirt cheap.
One time they messed up my order and they shipped a new one free of charge.
All you have to do is send them an email and they will send right out and you won't have to pay a single penny.
Paid like $3-$5 for full front and back extreme guard and will buy again for sure.
It's very thick and gives the feel of real protection, hard to mess up because you put it on like window tint and best of all it's cheap and their customer support is awesome!
Highly recommend! I can post pics of my pro and wife's iPhone if needed. Also put it on son's iPad after he broke the screen and it's been holding up for almost a year now: )

I bought the extreme guard screen protector for my Nexus 4 on a forum recommendation. NEVER AGAIN!! The screen protector sucks. First tried dry application, bubbles everywhere. removed it and washed it with soap solution. BTW does not include the soap solution. had to make my own with Dawn. Not thrilled about getting the screen wet and solution into the speakers and seams. After curing for 3 days I started using the phone. A week of putting it in my pocket and removing it, the tip of the corner came off. Slowly started to rip the whole corner. I installed another with the same 3 day curing. First try on putting the phone in a bumper case and it ripped the screen protector off the screen. The surface is not smooth and sticky to the skin. I had to use NuTouchHD to make it slippery. Also since it has soap solution underneath the screen protector, freaking rainbow streak everywhere. I urge you not to buy this product no matter how much the discount is.
For easy, dry and bubble free application, I tried Illumishield. It's thicker than Extreme Guard, washable and reusable. No rainbow effect. Use scotch tape to remove lint under the screen if there's lint bubble. I would recommend the illumishield screen protector over extreme guard any day.
I just picked up the 3 pack casemate that ATT sells for 10 bucks. I just used a couple sprays from my left over zagg solution to make it easier to install. Hard to scratch and doesnt peel up like the softer types of screen protector, im satisfied with it. Also, its very clear and doesnt stick to smudges at all (couple wipes from a lense cloth cleans it up).:good:

Word of caution regarding Zaggs screen protector for OGP... It sucks!! I've used the invisible shield before on other devices and I've never had a problem, but I have two major problems with the OGP model, one of which renders the film useless...
1. For some reason, they decided that protecting the home button wasn't important... so instead of them giving you a button film, they just cut around it and below it... so one of the most used things on the phone is not protected...
2. Probably the most important fail of this film is that it's not cut to extend all the way to the edges... it stops short about 3mm all around from the edge... doesn't sound like a big deal right? and I didn't think much of it... until I put my two awesome cases on the phone... what happens? The bezel from the cases sits perfectly over the end of the film so that every time I grip the phone or push one of the side buttons, the film peels up and bubbles... I have to flatten it out over and over again and there's no way to adjust it... this equally sucks because dirt and debris will find it's way under the film and probably cause more damage than if it wasn't there to begin with... Sooooo.... BEWARE!! I'm gonna try the other film mentioned above... Thanks MrNa5ty.:good:
Btw, if you're looking for a good case for your OGP I recommend two that I came across that are relatively cheap and extremely well made (sorry, I can't post the links due to my noob status):
1. "For LG Optimus G Pro E980 T-Stand Impact Kickstand Hybrid Double Layer Fusion Cover Case" - my fav so far, it's solid... it almost feels like an otter box because it has bubber and hard plastic... plus a well made kickstand which comes in handy... and the price? wait for it... wait for it.... 77 cents!!!!!!!! on amazon... a ridiculous steal if you ask me.
2. "GreatShield Guardian S Series Slim Fit S-Line Design TPU Case for LG Optimus G Pro" - Only $7!! on amazon and it's an awesome case and it looks good too.
New code for their site 70OFF
Got mine for $3 shipped!
Just received the first case you recommended. This is a nice case, indeed. Thanks for sharing.

AnkerĀ® Tempered-Glass Screen Protector

Installed last night and very impressed. Had 3 small patches of spider web, 2 of which have gone on their own and the 3rd is hardly noticeable and I have a feeling this will go too.
There's a slight lift around the edges of the earpiece, I guess that's down to the glass on the phone not being completely flat.
I've had a Spigen tr and a Nillkin, neither of which went on as well as the Anker - although that could be just me having more practice!
Oleophobic coating is also working nicely, a few smears but overall very good indeed.
I'd definitely recommend one especially if you don't want to pay the premium for Spigen.

This is with a Spigen Ultra Hybrid..
Just got one of these myself. Its pretty good but my cruzerlite tpu case is not working well with this SP. Might need to get a different case

I wish this was available in Canada =(
Just put mine on yesterday and only ended up with one small bubble in the top left area of the phone and no spider webs (w00t w00t!)
I have it paired with a Spigen Slim Armor and it fits on JUST about right. Not sure if it's putting pressure on the glass screen but it looks like it fits perfectly. We'll see how long it lasts with it.
Texture on the glass screen is amazing. Neither I or my co-workers could feel any type of difference.
bought this and have small spiderweb at bottom.. still happy, very high quality.
hope sw goes away after time.
I agree, wish I could find these in canada. $15 bucks I'm willing to spend, $35 not so much.

0.38mm I think, feels very nice though.. not too thick at all.
Many thanks!

No...Look to the title. This is the link to "AnkerĀ® Screen Protector for Google Nexus 5 [3 Pack] Xtreme Scratch Defender Ultra-Clear High-Response Premium with Lifetime Warranty"
The Pet film screenprotectors....
Oh that's weird.. The link came from my order confirmation from Amazon for the glass protector! I didn't read it, just assumed it would be correct.. I guess they aren't selling therm.
Edit: ha just noticed that the original link in the first post goes to the wrong item now too.. Ah well.

I'm wondering when they are selling them again. I'm doubting between Anker or Mime Ghost screen. Which one is better? Anker offers lifetime warranty though!
Not sure, I've not used the Mime yet.. Only this, the Spigen and the Nillkin. The Anker has been the best so far, it's still on my phone and not chipped, which is an improvement!

i got one recently about 2 weeks ago, and for some reason i got a huge bubble spider looking web about half inch on the bottom of my screen and about 2 small spider webs which i didnt mind too much. I contacted them through amazon since supposedly they're bubble "free". This is the reponse i got
"Thanks for the response and sorry for the issue.
Actually we have had this issue reported and we are currently investigating it with our suppliers as it seems to be a batch issue. A replacement as much as I would have liked to make, it's not a viable option.
May I ask a second chance to make things right by issuing a refund? We will further process once we get your consent."
Ever since then the screen protector is not available, i didnt want a refund because i liked the screen protector but that half inch bubble its getting on my nerves. So i went ahead and accepted the refund will be trying Nilkin i guess.
I got this screen protector a couple weeks ago, too, and I have a big bubble at the bottom that hasn't gone away. I just called and they said they have made some manufacturing changes to the protector which should (hopefully) resolve the bubble problems. However, the new batch won't be ready for 1-2 weeks.
I am going to wait for a new one. They will call me when they are ready to be shipped.

Zagg Glass/Sapphire Glass Curve

PSA:
Available for pre-order now. I, personally, will be making do with my Amazon protector until reviews are out, but they appear to believe they've knocked the issues with lifting edges.

If it works, with no edge-lift and no rainbow (especially compared to the selection available for the S7), it's worth every penny and they can have my money!
Does it have a warranty like the plastic covers?

The Iphone Sapphire one got bad reviews and didn't seem to fare well on the youtube drop test. Let us know how it works for you.
Let just hope it is better than the iphone one.
This are for the iphone but could help.

We'll have to wait and see how the S8 zagg Sapphire one does.

I'm not sure about the drop test, but i can tell you from experience with MULTIPLE replacements on two phones that, at least on the iPhone, the Sapphire glass was complete GARBAGE. I had mine replaced monthly through Zagg until finally i decided to take a loss and have the replace it with the standard Glass+ version. Surprisingly, the Glass+ was far superior. Dont buy into the sapphire hype. That thing was so riddled with scratches after a weeks use that it was hard to look at. As a matter of fact, i almost felt like looking at it was causing the scratches. They would be hard pressed to ever convince me that its a good product. If, and its a big IF this version adheres to the screen better than the other options, i might consider it, but again thats a big if.
You might want to check your local Best Buy, i noticed they had some stock of the Zagg Glass screen protectors at my local store in Savannah....
Total trash again, I just left T-Mobile and the guy tried to put on two of them. First one lifted on its own in the center , second one same thing clicking Center non-responsive joke don't waste your time guys
I'm SOOOOOO glad I found this thread. They're pushing it when I ordered the Mophie for the S8+. I didn't know that Mophie owns Zagg. I'm happy with the one I bought from Luvvitt and it was $9.

The adhesive is only around the edges, and they lift up. Check into the Whitestone Curved Dome for S8/S8+
