Pretty nice, I liked your vid.
I'll be buying one of each.

I wanted that case but it's a bit pricey being that there are no card slots. I went with this one.

Nice case, something to consider, I need to look at the pros and cons.
Extra steps to receive calls like opening the cover, viewing who is calling, press answer, close cover, talk.

I picked up one yesterday from my local at& t store. Its $50 but had a 25% coupon.
I really like the case so far.

I think it looks great "closed". Not sure how I feel about it once you have to flip it around the back once opened and in use. It doesn't sit flush like it does when it's closed.
Maybe I'm just nitpicking but I like the sleekness of the phone and don't care to add anything to it. Think I'll opt for the Samsung ultra slim cover.
http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/cell-phones-accessories/ETC-2PKSCEGSTA

I love this case!!!!
i like to flip the cover over, so I can grip on to it...doesn't feel like it'll slip out of my hand and increases my grip on the phone
I am left handed, so I just hook the bottom part in my thumb where it attaches on the side and makes a great way to hold it

also, the battery cover part is slightly thicker so it comes up over the camera lens, so you dont have to worry about scratching it when putting it on a table

Im looking for a nice horizontal holster/case

Stated in the title. I am looking for a nice horizontal leather or something case. I bought a screen protector for mine but I am not a big fan of keeping it in my pocket. I like to have my phone on my side "business like"..lol.
If you run across a nice belt case, let me know please. I saw the legit oem side case at the sprint store. As much as I dont want to, if I don't find something that fits it without all that extra space...I will just pick the oem one up.
The official Verizon Droid X leather holster fits the phone perfect. Even with my TPU case on, its gits great! I have used this case with both my EVO 4G and EVO 3D. Its really a very nice case, other than the price...
Leather horizontal case with belt clip for Epic 4G Touch
before I got my phone, I took a chance on Ebay and ordered one from a merchant named unplugdaily in China that is made for the SG2 i9100. Despite the fact that the D710 is slight larger than i9100, my new E4GT fits. In fact it's a nice snug fit so if the magnetic flap were to open when i dropped the entire case, I don't think the phone would fly out (a very good thing). case with a screen protector was $4.16 including delivery to USA which took about 10 days (pretty fast for China orders). BTW, the screen protector is for the smaller i9100 screen but I put it on my D710, looks OK and there's less than 1/8" space around the edges. On 9/17/11 I found a screen protector for the D710 on Ebay from a merchant in Utah for 99 cents including postage which I ordered.
I just received this one. Nice case.

I'm not sure if that holder is going to work because it seemed tight around the droid x, and cases make it too large to fit.
Still, I hope it does fit. Looks like a nice holder. Please report your results once you get it.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk
Qmadix makes the one for the Infuse and I'm 99% sure they made the one Sprint sold for the Nexus S 4g. I emailed them but they said they had no plans to make one for the Epic Touch. I'm sure they would if there was more interest. Super nice case/holster IMHO.

Well the case I ordered is actually too big. Im thinking it would be a real snug fit for the phone if I had a TPU case on it. So I am honestly debating if I want to get one or not. I like the thinness and feels like I would lose that if I put a TPU case around it.

Skinomi carbon: some photos

HI guys.
I took some photos of my GN with Skinomi carbon skin.
Does it make it more grippy? I got a case because the phone always felt like it was going to slip out of my hands, but I when the desktop and car docks come out I am probably going to want them, so a case is a no go. I've had full body skins on previous devices but always thought they looked bad and easily peeled, but these carbon fiber ones look pretty good.
Corners dont tend to stick down. I had it on my tab and took it off. Lol

Really have to put some heat to it in order to get the corners to stick. I put the black carbon skinomi on my Tab 7+ and a few seconds with a hot hair dryer, poof, good to go. I'm still waiting on the same carbon for my VZW Nexus. Jesus that place is the slowest on shipping.
Anyone know if the extended battery is going to be an issue with the skinomi for the Nexus?

I would actually argue that the carbon Skinomi makes it LESS "grippy", but protected. It really made my Tab 7+ look sweet. Should be getting the skin for the Nexus today.
I too, am waiting for someone to get a freaking car dock(not a ****ty piece of plastic). With LTE being such a battery drain, I can't believe Verizon is selling a "navigation" mount that can't charge the phone.
That looks really good.
It definitely does look good. I like how they even have some skin for the camera slot. My only peeve, from what I see, are the way the skin corners are. I understand why they did it like that (for ease of installation), but having that little bit of area open just turns me off. Corners are usually the part of the phone that hits the floor or whatever first - at least for me.

I'm going to good for either the Light Wood Skin or Dark Wood Skin from Skinomi for mine. It's hard to tell from the pictures on the site, how the skin is supposed to look when installed.

[Video Review] HTC One Double Dip Flip & Double Dip Hard Shell Review

Double Dip Flip Case Review
A lot of people overlooked the fact that the cover does come down over time. If you don't wanna wait you can just put the phone face down overnight.
Double Dip Hard Shell Review
Nice case but you could easily scratch your phone taking the One in and out of the case.
I'll be picking up an HTC One once it hits the USA so I'll do another more indepth review once I get it. Importing is just way too expensive...
I got the flip case free with my phone. It seems like the cover joints just needs a bit of loosening over time. Mine closes almost instantly now.
That being said I don't feel like it offers the best possible protection. Got my eyes open for a better case.
Thanks for the review ... :good:
suppose i´ll pick one up ...
THX :good:
The flip case looks great and the cover does come down over time, mine happened in about 2 days. The only problem i have with the case is that it doesnt offer full protection and during calls i have to occasiaonnly take the phone out of the case as the Mic hole doesn't line up with the phones Mic hole 100% :l
WARNING
I dropped my phone that was housed in the double dip case, the flap came open and landed face down resulting to scratches and dents to the speaker housing, gutted
I have both the hard shell case and the double dip case. I think they are both good cases, the double dip flip case doesn't really protect the full phone but is good for its stand. The hard shell case is a bit bulky and the colours are crap (why not one solid colour?) but it really gives complete protection... Other than the screen, which is ok because I think the lip is big enough to protect it from a drop...
I've ordered the flip case with the HTC free offer, but I feel like I won't be using it for long. I'll be looking for a better case while using the flip case as a temporary solution. I guess it would be very useful in the plane.

Thanks for backing me up bro. Also, to the OP: I'm going to be picking one up from VZW if it comes out. If not, I'll maybe use a TMo Prepaid plan with it.
I had the Flip case, but I got a refund on it as i didn't feel it protected the phone without being a hindrance. Also, nobody could hear me due to the microphone not lining up all the time. As it cost me £25 I felt it was not justified. I am going today to purchase the normal double dip case to try (non flip).
Wish me luck!

So is the consensus to keep this thing a safe distance from the phone at all times? I'm glad mine won't be costing me anything. I guess I should thank HTC, sort of?
This clearly not for drop protection, its too think in the back and little protection in the front. Not sure if that case is for me.

You may just wanna pick up a generic TPU or maybe something nicer from Diztronic or Cruzerlite. The i-Blason cases look high quality compared to their previous cases, but I'm not sure.
Why they didn't felt line thus case its beyond me. It slides onto an aluminum phone... Hard plastic... GREAT IDEA

I have an O'Box Commuter and am receiving a Reveal and the official car dock today. I will take pictures of the phone with both cases in the dock (assuming they both fit).
I got my Reveal case a couple days ago and I have to admit, I really like it! I bought a case from Motorola. A clear snap on hard case and took it off right away. I also got a Bear Motion case on Amazon that I never used. This reveal case has stayed on since I got it! The blue matches perfectly with the royal blue back of my phone. Thanks guys for the recommendation on this case.
just got my reveal today.
really nice case!!
cost $20 on ebay, which is not really cheap for a case. but i had a cheapo "cimo s-line" on my phone before that that cost me like $3-4. this is much nicer looking, the buttons click better and its actually feels slightly smaller in hand. it really is a small case.
i think its worth it, feels a little better and looks much nicer (the s-line case looked terrible). given im a klutz who manages to knock my phone off a table or something nearly every day it seems like a case was needed. (probably dropped my moto x like 4-5 times this week...)
fit and finish on the reveal is perfect. some part of me wishes i had a phone that wasnt just black weave now, to show off with the see through part.
i do have to say one thing.
this case the clear part scratches up really easily. i put the phone + case my desk plastic side down and there were a ton of fine scratches. tried to polish them out with some meguirs plastx that i had (works great on car dash guages by the way) and it made even more. yes its a case, and its made to be scratched, but be aware the ones wth these hard plastic finishes seem to scratch up quick

Yeah, mine is all scratched up too but it's because it gets tossed in my tool bag. I'd rather the case get scratched than my phone!
Anyone tried casemate's naked tough case? Is this pretty much the same one

The power support aire jacket case has some self healing coating on it that seems to not scratch as easy as the Griffin. I have both and the air jacket is higher quality. My reveal came in the box with lots of scratches straight from Motorola.

It seemed to be about the best available. There isnt much available for the HTC one. Its a very good phone, but i'm not sure that the sales have been enough for makers like Ballistic or Otterbox to do versions of their premium water resistant cases for it.
I think due to the front speakers, It's really hard for them to make some waterproof/resistant cases.......

You would be more happy buying a camera actually meant for this. You can find a waterproof Olympus that takes better pics than the phone for $80-100 on Amazon, or an even better used one on eBay.
Just had krusell case delivered.
Looks nice, But, in the case you can press the volume or on/off button.
Am going to use the Team 7 Kernel that has Flick to Wake and see how things go.

I was really keen on this at one stage. Then Choice Magazine (in Australia) did a review. Lost interest pretty fast at that point.
Its actually not a spray. Apparently they put the phone in a chamber, introduce a vapor , and rack up the temp.
Actually, given the HTC One doesn't come apart i dont think it would be do-able.

Its at work at the moment and i'm not there till thursday, but will try and remember.
Having had it now, i'm actually a bit disappointed. I'm sure its waterproof, but the design with the locking "ring halves" means that side buttons are very hard to access. Having had it in hand it doesn't actually seem to be any better protection than one of the waterproof "bag" style cases like Dicapac and makes the side buttons less accessible than on one of those.
Also, in a larger bag style i would be able to use the normal, drop resistant hard shell case as well.
That said, the touch screen in the krusell works ok, and sound through the silicon is fine. Photos through the clear section on the back are ok, but noticeably worse than out of the case.

The rain/wind resistance listed on their website is conspicuously absent from the packaging the One's case comes in. On the plus side, it does feel like it would survive a throw from a moving vehicle now. The UAG though much prettier, smaller and lighter seems almost flimsy in comparison to this tank of a case.
