Firstly, you should not start flashing stuff to your phone unless you are 100% sure of what you are doing. The community is here to help, not to bail you out because you couldn't be bothered to read the instructions carefully.
Right rant over lets try and get this phone working again. As you have already flashed the rom, that's a start. You now need to go into the bootloader to flash the kernel and ram disk.
So step by step:
1) Boot into the bootloader (hold volume down and power)
2) Download the appropriate boot.img from the ARHD thread.
3) Place the boot.img in the same folder as fastboot.
4) From the Command Line run fasboot flash boot boot.img
5) Then run fastboot erase cache
I may be wrong but I think the ARHD boot.img contains a script which automates steps 4 and 5 in which case you can just run the script and ignore these steps. Once you have done all this the phone will boot normally.

Have u installed the SDK platform tools in ur computer?if not type on google Android SDK and download it then you can do the following. place the image file (which is the kernel) in the path of SDK(where is installed. Mine for example is on C:\Program files\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools\(Place here UR kernel file) )
afterwards open an CMD and then type the following fastboot flash boot NAME_OF_IMAGE.IMG. everything that dr97.. said is right u should do those steps first. my guidance is on what to do and where to place the kernel. ill be online all time to answer you as sooner i can.
Good luck m8

i didnt forget you just checking if we can do it with other way.
found a way. go here download it. Make sure u have the HTC sync installed. Once u download the tool u will find 2 files one exe and one folder.inside the folder u will find 2nd folder with name Kernels. place there your kernel and go back one folder where you will find Windows Batch file with name UserKer Press it and follow the instructions
One more edit. Rename the Kernel as Boot! or else i think it will not work the script
GOOD LUCK

If you are now trying to get back to stock then you need to know a few things first. If you have a branded phone (locked to a network provider) then you will need to download their RUU for the phone, if you have an unbranded phone (can use any sim card in it) then you will need to flash the unbranded RUU for your phone. and unbranded RUU can be Identified if the firmware is like the following: x.xx.401.x, a branded phone goes something like: x.xx.771.x (this is for 3 UK, the 771 part will be different depending on your network).
Secondly what firmware were you on before flashing a custom ROM onto your phone? were you on 1.26, or 1.28, or 1.29? you will need to have the relevant stock recovery and RUU for your firmware version. If you can't remember then what is your hboot version? if its 0.43 then you are most probably on 1.26, 0.94 should be for 1.28, and 0.95 I believe is for the 1.29 variant.
you can unlock your bootloader again using the same unlock.bin file from the HTCDEV site to flash the right stock recovery onto your phone, then relock the bootloader again and then run the RUU. This should bring you back to almost factory defaults.
you should be able to find the right RUU from THIS thread, The right recovery from HERE and disaster recovery tutorial from HERE
And next time PLEASE READ UP ON HOW TO DO THIS STUFF, BEFORE ACTUALLY DOING IT.

and yes i have the unlock.bin that was sent to me by htc can u please be so kind and tell me step by step how:1-flash my unlock.bin
2- then flash the stock recovery for my device thanks alot alot in advance really appreciate every one that is trying to help thank u guys

you can unlock your bootloader again with the same unlock.bin file you got off the HTCDEV site and using the following command in command prompt: fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin ... the signature error could possibly point to having the wrong stock recovery. did you flash the 1.29.401.11 stock recovery?
Edit: could you post the link to where you got that RUU from? I might possibly be able to extract the recovery.img file from it, as I think the 1.29.401.11 recovery might be wrong for you, you might need the 1.29.415.11 recovery to be flashed...

You shouldn't relocked it on the first place, because from what i read at the OP, you have your phone unlocked and rooted..if you follow my guide, my friend, you will have a fully working phone again..do you even read it..

As my first post here, I wanted to make it something helpful. Anyway, you will need to find the stock recovery and use fastboot to put it on. Sorry, don't know where you would look to find one, maybe someone has one here?

well as i understand you need to revert to device's stock condition
as far as i know only way to do it is by RUU or individually flashing every image. RUU is easily done but as you mentioned you get error messages try finding out what those error messages mean
common messages are
cant connect to device----ensure you are in fastboot usb mode
version problems----check weather you are using the right RUU (RUU is different for diferent regions) one RUU can have more than one versions so be sure which one you need
and you also need to lock you bootloader before running RUU
let me know if anything works
take a complete backup and make a goldcard just in case..you never know what may happen

Actually, this 's-on' and 's-off' is very much important. You can flash any stock rom with s-off but not that easily with s-on. I'm a noob so I can't really explain further. Search for it!

i got same problem some days ago.cant port ruu and remove cwm.
so first of all you find your ruu from football's marvel collection or search on internet.if its in .zip file its very good extract it,you ll find recovery.img,boot.img and system.img
or if its in .exe file.first try installation wizard if its fail.again start installation wizard and then keep it on dont update bootloader just go to temp folder.(C:\Users\[LoginName]\AppData\Local\Temp\{82B23FCD-D5D0-45CA-A3A2-5350D3926551}) in this you will have see rom.zip file extract it.you ll find
recovery.img,boot.img and system.img then,
remove battery (power +volume down) to going in hboot then click on fastboot then plug your phone usb with computer open cmd and type:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
you can see fastboot file in your extracted zip.by this way you manually port stock rom.i tried it and it successfully possible.but i use my original stock rom, ages when i used europe rom it failed.
and please be careful in type commands it ll brick your phone if you doing anything wrong..maybe it ll help you
and yes one thing read this thread carefully i recommand third method which i mentioned here.

and s-on or s-off.there are many difference between twos.i dont know much i m also noob here.but with s-off you can change your hboot, radio and many customization but with s-on its difficult i think.so i recommand you to flash your orginial stock rom if you are s-on.i have s-on phone so my phone wont remove cwm with any other stock roms and its got failed.so mind this thing.and know more about s-on and s-off read this.

ok, i think you've tried to flash a stock rom without flashing a stock recovery !!.
do you have fasboot adb on your pc ?
you need to unlock your bootloader and re flash a custom recovery
if not search the dev section for a tool that will unlock your boot and re-flash a custom recovery for you-all the instructions are on there.
once you have re unlocked and flashed a custom recovery,go into recovery and see if there are any backups of the previous rom (nand)
see if that works ..

help?:crying:
According to the hboot (1.12) you need a 2.17 based ruu .... but i can't find it !
Tthe basic steps now are
Unlock the bootloader, flash a custom recovery
http://db.tt/Krlm4dPs
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1975140
Get your nandroid backup there,(the vodap021 2.17) you need to flash the boot.img file from that nandroid with fastboot commands, then do a full wipe in recovery and restore the nandroid.
But you still have to fix the fastboot part right ? You need to install android SDK/java SDK and the HTC drivers. Then you have to put the phone in the bootloader and open a commandprompt from inside the folder where the adb/fastboot files are located ...they are in a subfolder in the installed javaSDK install folder

Thanks, it is beginning to make some sense to me now.
So first bit I got to do is the fastboot issue, which is tha last bit you mentioned right?
And after unlock boot loader than flash the recovery with one you provided in the link, tx
So that means I will go back to stock right?
Yes unlock, flash custom recovery, flash boot.img, full wipe in recovery, restore the nandroid, flash back the stock recovery .....
And yes this way you go back to stock and i will also give you the download link for the stock recovery. This one is the last you flash after restoring everything
http://db.tt/U5CK4noo
Then you are able to update to JB from within the phones software update menu
Ps you do not have to relock the bootloader anymore !

Please guys, iWe spent all day trying to figure it out, after wipe phone reboots constantly and when if boot screen it's not charging so I'm prob going to run out of battery in a couple of hours
You restore through the custom recovery. Power+vol , choose recovery. If you flashed the recovery ok then you can do from in there. Ie mount usb, copy over your nand backup and restore it. You may have to flash the boot.img using fastboot.

Updating HBOOT & JB

Right basically i have a HOX and i want CM 10.1 on it! I have already rooted it with CWM recovery and still running the stock ICS 4.04, my HBOOT is version 1.12 and my CID is HTC__001. I have read that you need at least HBOOT version 1.31 to flash any JB rom but ive also read that once you flash the ROM you have to flash the BOOT.IMG after and it will work?? Help please!
and i keep seeing people refering to fastboot commands, i have fastboot files but not entirely sure how they work?? any help much appreciated
Did you alter the stock rom ..... Removed any system apps or something like that . Otherwise flashing back the stock recovery might be enough to update to JB
Ok so i guess being on HBOOT 1.12 doesnt matter, but i dont get how to flash the BOOT.IMG after flashing the ROM using fastboot. I dont want to go into it not knowing what im doing

Yeah i deleted lots of bloatware and general crap i wont use. That was 1 thought i had if i updated the official firmware it would also update the hboot but didnt think it would be possible after rooting. If you hadnt guessed im a bit of a noob to this
Edit : oke flashing the stock recovery won't work. You have to choices
1 flash a standalone firmware to lift your hboot
2 run the matching ruu to install the phone back to stock and then update to JB

Sorry, i always get paranoid when doing stuff like this haha but yes that's it
Now i assume your bootloader is still unlocked ?
First you Google for the ANDROID SDK PACKAGE. Download it and unpack it, check in the package for a folder named PLATFORM TOOLS, in there you see a file named FASTBOOT.EXE
In that folder you open a command window and type there (with the phone in the bootloader)
Fastboot devices
When a serial comes out you are good to go !
This file will bring the phone back to stock. back up what you need ....also the sdcard !!!
http://androidfiles.org/ruu/securek...Radio_2.1204.135.20_release_274900_signed.exe
Download that file, put the phone in the bootloader and lock the bootloader with a fastboot command
Fastboot oem lock
The bootloader will restart with a warning sign, that's oke
Then keep it in the bootloader and execute the ruu from the pc with administrator rights.
Follow the program !
Ok thanks but i need help with these fastboot commands where do i do this from pc or phone? And how
Oh wait nevermind it looks like i completely ignored most of your post lol
If you have 1.5 hours i can help on teamviewer ? If you want !
Thanks mate ill give it a go myself if i get stuck anywhere i shall write on here
Sure mate ! Good luck ... Check for the collection of firmwares ....ready to flash

How do i do this? If i double click fastboot.exe i see CMD open and close real quick?
The trick is to open a command window inside that folder where the fastboot file is. Usually done by holding shift and right click in that folder - open command window here
There you need to type the commands. (Its in a dos commando window)
Ahhhh okay thanks i didnt know how to open it in a specific folder cheers will give it a go in the morning :good:
Im back to stock downloading the software update now woop woop thank you so much for your help!! I guess once its done i just unlock the bootloader again and can flash CM?
You used the ruu ? Then yes update the phone as much as you can
And yes unlock, flash a custom recovery DO A NANDROID BACKUP ASAP! and then you start flashing roms

PLEASE HELP A NOOB
you just need to update the bootloader
Code:
fastboot oem lock
fastboot rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
your CID must match the firmware.zip's CID
You must download this firmware : http://www.androidrevolution.nl/downloader/download.php?file=3.16.65.2.zip
Put it in your fastboot folder.. rename it to 'firmware.zip'.. and run the commands matt95 has given! Note that.. flashing the firmware might give an error the first time.. continuously flash the firmware.zip until you get a successful message!
This will upgrade your hboot and from now on you can flash any ROM out here!

If you still want to update via OTA flash.. read the steps which are there in the OTA thread!
Yes, as long as your using stock ROM + recovery... you will get OTA updates! And no... it won't change your IMEI!
Yes, I remember you from that other thread... It's strange that it's displaying as 'none'...

If u want to upgrade to marshmallow then it is quite simple. But before you do becareful, you will lose all your data and the phone will be completely stock condition. If you have the bootloader locked then you can directly go to the process as you are s-on. However if you have an unlocked bootloader you have to relock it first. So the next steps are simple. Download the marshmallow firmware ( the version should be 6.20.654.3) and marsmallow rom file ( same version number) keep both of those in your micro sd card and first rename the firmware file into (0P6BIMG.zip) note that the name should be exactly like this and no bracket. Now go to hboot. Enter fastboot of your phone.sitback and relax for 1min. The firmware will be automatically upgraded in your phone. Next after the phone restarts, delete the firmare file from your micro sd card and rename the rom file into the same name 0P6BIMG.zip and follow the same process like before. I mean enter hboot...go to fastboot ..sit back and relax. If u want to upgrade by flashing custom rom like the one u have now, flash via twrp and u can get plenty of guidelines for this and this is easier. Hope i kept it simple u will get the links to download necessary files in the OMJ,s thread

Hi, is there any way that I could do it using my PC.. Also, sorry for asking you so much repeatedly, but could you please point out where I could get the files for the firmware etc from?
Does it matter that I already have a custom ROM installed?

Yes you can upgrade by using pc too. In that case you have to download the adb tool in your pc and write few commands manually in the command prompt which is a huge bother :3. The process i mentioned is the easiest way. And the link of the firmware and rom is given below respectively
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=search&s=6.20.654.3_firmware_no_recovery_no_boot

To flash the firmware linked above with your PC:
adb reboot bootloader (if you aren't in bootloader already)
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip 6.20.654.3_firmware_no_recovery_no_boot.zip
fastboot reboot bootloader
To flash the RUU.zip, you may have problems with the file size with regular adb/fastboot. You could get HTC's fastboot and flash it with that, but the SDcard method is much easier and quicker.
If you want to get HTC's fastboot (and more information on flashing firmware and RUU.zips), read the first couple of posts in this thread. It's a very comprehensive guide. That thread only covers GSM firmware, but the commands are the same. You'll just not be able to find any downloads there.
Good luck!
