you know why it worked for some?
the reason why the Music Hub works for some is because they install the Google Wallet Fix. since part of the fix is changing the Model, Device and Name in the Build.prop to the Galaxy Nexus this causes to auto update Music Hub and Media Hub from Google Play. you need to be rooted to get these to work.

That's how my Music Hub and Media Hub updated. once I revert back the Build.Prop and browse for the app in Google Play it will say "Your device isn't compatible with this version"

Here's how I enabled mine just now:
Must Have ROOT!
1. Download device spoofer (paid app) from Play Store
2. Open device spoofer, after database updates backup your current device info.
3. Scroll through device list and select Galaxy Nexus
4. Reboot
You should now have 2 updates available in the Play Store, one for media hub and one for music hub.
Have Fun!

Right before you set device spoofer to galaxy nexus and reboot go in and wipe data for music hub. See if that makes a difference for you.

How do you get page buddy back on 4.2?

I used to plug in my headphones on 4.1 and be my music player would open automatically. Now I'm on 4.2 and that doesn't happen anymore. How do I get that back or is there an app that enable my music when my headphones are plugged in? Can someone please help?
Sent from my SGH-I317 using xda app-developers app
Use Poweramp music player it had an option to launch player when headset is plugged in. .. which rom are you using?
Sent from my GT-N7105 using xda premium
Sons of android ROM 4.2.2. I just used poweramp it still doesn't open up the whole app like page buddy
Sent from my SGH-I317 using xda app-developers app
Those roms ate Google base and won't have page buddy etc. .. you need a touch wiz rom for page buddy.

Mac + Note 2

I have a Mac and getting the music to be organized on my Note 2 is annoying. Is there a simple way like how iTunes is for the iPhone?
Yeah it's called Google play music app. You can just upload your music there and it'll be organized like you want... and save memory on your device for other things..
Don't use ifunes nor Crapple anything, sorry:banghead:

You might just want to Google it. But check here:
https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/1229970?hl=en
The music manger lets you upload what you want then it'll all be in your Google play music account...
