It's not quite on par with Shazam or SoundHound yet, but definitely something Google should develop more. Also wish it would save a 'found song' list for later look up.

Yeah that would really make sense. I actually prefer soundhound because it actively sends while recording. I haven't used it for a while but I think it also stores the recording and sends it later if you don't have reception.
So I'm using es file explore do I just past the apk to the app fold and fix and same thing just past and fix r r /w

I have never used SoundHound, but Shazam does the same. On my iPod Touch, I would Shazam a song and just send it later when i was home. It is pretty great.

I don't have system/app folder !
I have HyDrOG3N-ICS/Milestone 5 Rom and there isn't System Folder ...
EDIT: I found System/app, and i move the apk in system/app, but i can't install ...
Hummm tried dropping this in system/app and setting permissions but it won't install on 3.6. Guessing this is exclusive to sense 4.0 framework
Transferred to system/app with perms fixed.
No luck.

I just want to share with you guys the official TW4 Tasks app. I didn't port it or anything I just extracted it from a galaxy s2 rom and it works on KPO 2.3.3.
I suppose it works on every stock rom.

I'm not sure about the synchronization works or not because I deleted some googlesync app earlier.
Anyway I attached the files, you should put these to system/app with rootexplorer and set the permissions to "rw-r--r--".

I tried without TasksProvider.apk and it didn't work.
Nt workin in ddkq8 even aft moving both files to system/app/ n Setting permission..
Am i missing something?

Its definitely cool only problem is if your music collection isnt named properly it coukd be very annoying.

Thought I'd go ahead and share this .apk with the rest of you. If you ever ran MIUI on your previous devices, you'd probably agree that music player is probably one of the best looking players out there. I loved the UI and decided to install it on my Note II, which runs perfectly.

If installing by any file explorer doesn't work out, then simply push the .apk by adb.
To do so, reboot into recovery and from a command terminal, enter the following commands:

adb push MIUIMusic2.3.2.apk /system/app/MIUIMusic.apk
I'd advise fixing permissions first before rebooting back into system, just in case...
