Does it not work with Sense ROMS or what? It never does anything for me. It always says I have no cache or I already cleared it. What gives?

+1, I'm curious of this myself.
I see far more disadvantages to using it. Maybe its a blessing that its not working.

Yea I just uninstalled it. I don't think there is any major advantage...but I could be wrong.
When I used it on my Droid X i could tell it worked pretty well. Especially after using the phone for a few hours, different apps, games, ect.

Won't do you any good on any android 2.1 or higher phone. It was useful in the earlier days of android, but is of no use as the the OS handles cache just fine and installing cachemate will only slow your phone down.

I'm looking for a decent Ics Rom without the annoying problems. Such as sms not sounding HTC IME keyboard crashing. Can someone suggest a Ics Rom that can be a good daily driver. I would appreciate that thanks.

Seeing as how its not officially released, and all of the ICS Roms are either leaks, or "ALPHA" your probably out of luck unless you magically come up with the source for the kernel and fix LOS, and the vibration intesity.
I guess I was being a little hopeful. Anyword on an official release?

I use FC05 as a daily driver and I have absolutely zero problems. My GPS works, notifications works, 4g works, battery lasts most of the day, EVERYTHING works fine. Don't listen to those panzies complaining... they'd start crying if their lattes were made with whole milk rather than skim.
The reason I'm making this statement is because this rom is a good daily driver, but it obviously can use a little work (that's why its not an official release). But its mostly minuscule. You shouldn't have any problems. Just make sure you lock in your gps before you flashing your new rom.

All of the ics roms are stable enough for daily drivers fc05+, but it's the little things that we rely on that keep us holding out. For me, it's the crash with Words with Friends game. Lol

I can agree with that. If you flash any stock FC05 (odex or deodex) or newer all of the main functions like phone, mms, email, apps, etc they all work. At this point you really have to hunt to find any issues... they are minuscule. I haven't messed with any of the custom ROMs yet but I am sure Mijj's, Calkulin's, Venum's, Maddoggin's, Agat's are working well if they are FC05 based or newer

For me, it works half the tome, the other half, the phone goes black until you hit home and have to close words with friends to get back into it.

The only issue I have had with Calkin's 2.0 1.1 is the mentioned HTC IME crash. But that is a keyboard that you never even have to see if you don't want, it is after all an addition

Heya all... I got wallet to at least run on my phone with a card loaded... All I did was use the 4.2 build of google wallet... Changed my build.prop to that of a google nexus... And I had already linked my card to my wallet on the website prior to installing the app... Worked like a charm... But... Haven't completely tested it yet (hence WIP)... I went to McDonalds and the machine recognized my phone... And my phone said that it had sent the info, but it never cleared... It said to ask cashier to check for further instructions... But... The guy behind the counter had NO clue, and there were others waiting, so I didn't test further... Just wanted to share my experience... Just to let you know I'm running stock rooted...

I did... I completely removed it... Because I tried everything with the one off of the Play Store and could get nothing but a black screen... I completely removed it then installed the one I posted... Worked the second time installing... Let me know if you have any success... I hope this helps you... Unfortunately I took a few days to post because this community isn't quite as nice as it used to be to people who are trying to help and add their .10...

I was able to get it running and all but my cell signal is all messed up! I get this message and it won't go. I removed the build prop changes and its fine and my service is normal again.

I never got any message like that... I was presume that it has something to do with you using Jellybomb... I'm currently using it on just stock... And that's stock without the OTA update that brought the multi app function...

No prob... Report back with any findings... I'm at work atm, but planning on stopping and trying to get gas after I leave using it at the local Shell... I'll let ya know if it works completely...

I too get the same notification. Stock rooted rom using the Galaxy Note II Toolkit. My phone does still work though(calling out worked fine). My cell signal seems to be good as well.

Right on. Mine would show no signal and then go to 1x and occasionally 3g but was really spotty and not worth it.

Mine just hangs and never really get to set up screen.
Okay I added the the card but it still failed. I think the nfc and the lib are the problem. Check this thread out.

After uninstalling the wallet did you reboot and install the 4.2 apk? I doubt it since we both got it to work on our device.

Ok... Stopped by the Shell station on my way home... I rarely go there and the last time I was there they had NFC payment options... I guess they did away with it... I'll try somewhere else tomorrow... But it's unusual that you guys aren't getting it going... I'm not sure what's making mine any different :-/ I don't know if it had anything to do with the fact that I already had a card already attached to my account... But... I did notice the unfortunate side effect that now I can't use the S-Note app since now my phone thinks it's a Nexus...

Ok guys... JUST got back for McDonalds... It totally worked... I made two purchases... Not sure why mine is any different... All I know is that i'm a completely stock rom except for the rooting... I did try to install another version of wallet after I installed the market version and before I installed the 4.2 version... Not sure if that's what is making the difference... Idk... I tried the method in THIS POST first... It didn't work for me... But maybe something I did trying that method changed something for when I installed the 4.2 version... Lol... I have NO clue... All I can say is it works now... Tomorrow I'll nand restore my phone and try everything over again and see if I can duplicate my success... I hope I'm helping :-/

Well I got mine working and card added and ready to use but never got to actually use it at a store. The drawbacks are the no s-pen function and the signal for me.

In reality I can add the card information but google does not allow me to add the card to my device. So that is why it does not work for me. I am just going to reinstall Jellybomb and wait until they make some progress with the Cyanogenmod 10. I had a feeling this would be a waste of time. So the the apk in the original flagged my device as lost and deactived google wallet from my device.
im running Task650 AOKP 4.2.2 on my S3 and for the past few months pandora radio will not let me type in new stations any ideas why this happens? i have uninstalled the app and reinstalled many times but still no luck. i also have 4g here in alaska but with this rom i only connect to 3g if you have any ideas that will help please let me know
Might be a app issue, I can't add new stations either. And I was in a different ROM. I add from computer and there there, kinda crappy... Lol

Search in tasks AOKP thread..I remember this being an issue but can't say it has been fixed. Just search "pandora"

Yeah, he basically said it was Pandora's fault, even though I have a Skyrocket on 4.2.2, a S2 on 4.2.2 and a HTC on 4.2.2 and those three work so I tried SlimBean for the hell of it in my S3 and it magically worked again, it is an issue with his rom in some way. I still use his rom because it works great but SlimBean was damn close.

Unless you provide a logcat, there's nothing Task can do about it and has to assume it's a problem with the app. He doesn't provide support for 3rd party app (nor should he).

Multiple log cats were brought to his attention, it was the apps fault instantly. I gave up because he has a great rom and I have donated to him for his great work. I just go online to Pandora and change my lineup.

I can confirm this works, was trading my white gs4 for the black one and used mobile Odin at work to return to stock firmware.

From my experience, it kinda works, but something is not exactly right after flashing with it. The best way I can explain it is, Given the phone hadn't been flashed at all, after a hard reset on a stock rom, the Samsung keyboard will be setup as the default keyboard thru the setup customization. Well after flashing with mobile Odin the latest stock Rom from Sammobile, I've noticed that now swipe is setup as the default keyboard thru the setup customization. However, if I were to flash the same rom thru odin 3.07 on the pc, the Samsung keyboard becomes the default thru the setup customizations as it should be. Another thing I noticed to is the signal wasn't as consistent after flashing with mobile Odin. I've done this on two sgs4's, both with the same results. I've used mobile Odin on the sgs3 with no identifiable issues, but with the sgs4, I've definitely noticed some inconsistencies. I'd like someone else to test this out as well, and report back their findings.

I've used mobile Odin many times successfully on a s3 I owned before the s4. My issue was very subtle and may get pass others who were not as observant after flashing MO. That's why it'll be great if someone could test this and confirm whether they experience the same or not.

I've had weird issues like that just in general. Maybe coincidence, but I've had hard reboots and suddenly the keyboard has switched, and so has the wallpaper. Everything else is there still.
