Hi all!
I wanted to ask if it´s possible to port the HTC Desire C ROM to our old Desire.

5MP camera and NFC
Technical Details
Processor: 600MHz
Operating System: Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0

I think it´s the best idea to port Sense 4 from this low end phone (because of its 600 MHz processor and 512 MB RAM)
What do you all think

I think porting from the ONE V would be easier, as far as i know it has almost the same chipset as our beloved Desire.

[Q] need a little clarification

Hi guys, i am really confused. I purchased an epad off of ebay. i thought winning bid of $42 was worth it so i got it. after purchasing it i read throught the details. i liked it except for this one part where it says "TF card support 32GB extend max". It has 1 usb slot and 2 micro sd slots. Does it mean total per card it can support is up to 32 gb or 32gb all 3 combined :/ if anyone can answer this question id appreciate it. THank you.
What kind of tablet? and epad?
yes, its an epad. i havnt got it yet but i was gonna order a few cards for it too then so i needed to know
EDIT: ITS THE SAME EXACT THING AS THE LINK BELOW
http://cgi.ebay.com/TABLET-PC-10-2-...US_Tablets&hash=item3f078105c9#ht_6594wt_1139
Here is your answer
The ram is 256 mb
The sd card support is 32 gigs per slot.
If you can root the device you will make it run better but trying to put froyo with only 256mb ram might be an issue
Good luck.............. good price though
Note:
1. All Memory cards we selling are with the tablet pc and at cost price,we are sure them all be tested before shipment ,we do not accept returns, replacement or refund of the cards, thanks for your cooperation.
2. Not all games and software can be supported by G-Sensor (Depending on software compatible)
3. Device usually show storage at about 0.7-1.3GB, This is because we have pre-installed the android system and other software, this will occupy some memory.)

On the front is a large touchscreen rumored to be 4.3-inch in size and having a resolution of 1280 x 720,
On the hardware front the Vigor is expected to have a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with Adreno 220 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 16GB internal memory and running on Android 2.3.4. It is also said to have the Beats Audio, the result of the recent alliance between HTC and the Beats by Dre brand.

Wow, that sounds like a killer :O
It looks good
how are they doing 16GB internal storage?
I am sure I read/heard that samsung's galaxy S had a partition basically and used some form of App2sd+ to mimic the 8GB internal (which was actually 2(?)GB internal storage and 6(?)GB of FAT32 storage?)... and then you could add a FAT32 SD on top... and I imagine the GS2 did the same?
i also thought GB couldn't cope with more than 2GB internal actual storage, but HC/ICS was resolving that cap?
HTC learned with own mistakes.
My desire has just 512mb for /system, /data and more stuff

Not only yours.
TouchPaled from Oxygen with Transparent XDA App
1.
It looks good...although I ain't believing the 16GB internal storage story, not until it is available to be bought in the market.
Non of HTCs gadgets has such specs up to now.
2.
The word "Beats" worries me...how about the price will be? USD20,000?
it'll probably end up being 1.6GB internal

Most likely
google know the response:
it has 2 GB of ROM (/system + /data +/cache) and 16 GB of internal storage to use as mass storage to put images, video, ecc...plus of course the possibility to use a microSD card
its like all the other new phone out there at the moment (internal (16gb) and external (sdcard) storage)
for comparison our desire have 512mb of rom, no internal storage, and an external storage (sdcard)

[Q] What are versions of HTC One X Quadcore available?

Only, the Tegra3 S720e model of HTC One X has 32Gb. The AT&T has 16Gb

Ok...
But look the Attachments ... Only 10GB for user
It looks to me that you have 16GB.
Mine is 32GB, and I have 25BG free for user.
Space gets eaten by file system, formatting, ... Like when you buy a 1TB hard drive and only get 800+ for usage.
As for the processor, it's always the same, but individual chips are divided in 4 different variants (could be found in sys/kernel/debug/t3_variant, as described in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1815466), and it only shows how much you can push your CPU beyond standard conditions.
Dialaphone.co.uk have had the 16gb version for a while now

I have 3 OTT M8 boxes scattered around the house and would love a Remix OS build on them.
I dumped the crappy kitkat builds off them after about a week of buying them and run OpenELEC on them. It's fine for just Kodi but the device is capable of so much more.
I think the wife would love it on the one in the kitchen for browsing the web for recipes and the likes, not possible with OpenElec
So there's a big fat +1 for me on this. :good:
Any updates? Would love to use Remix OS on my M8
that would be great on S802/S805/S812
Would love remix on my onda v975m its based on the m802
