I use Bigxie JRN84D Rooted Busybox Deodexed v2 with r215 so I'm running jelly bean. You might find your gnex can't handle under volt so well, it varies. These values are stable for me and I've not seen anyone else with 690 as lowest stable voltage

Thanks bro.. I will try ur under volt settings

Just for info my under volt settings are pointless as smart reflex was calibrating all the mid and lower mid speeds to higher, so yeah its pointless

The SC-02C is the Japanese version of the Galaxy S2, pretty similar to the international version, just with added 1seg receiver, and identical in peformance.
Would you mind doing a GLBenchmark test? Nenamark2? Electopia?

How?
What's your set up?

Here's mine. Juggernaut 3.7 1.8mHz with bullet 2.7 kernel = 6838. Beastmod is 100 less at the same frequency. With cm7 and synergy kernel at same frequency, I get 7111. Wow. Cm9 will probably be better. It may help the thread if we all use the same frequency. That way we can see which ROM and kernel produce the best results at that clock speed. All my tests were with the performance governer and min/max at 1.8GHz. All tests were done after a fresh reboot and all apps killed in memory.
these are mine
Running stock 2.3.5 and bullet 2.9
For some reason.... I get better results without OC my kernel to 1.83 weird.
I got around 6300~ Jugg 3.7 stock

Quadrant updated for multiple cores and ICS

Topics says it all. You should learn not to put much weight into these benchmarks, but the new update should give a clearer picture of our devices performance.

chainfire only works if you have it enabled. Do you have a per-app profile for Quadrant? I get 3200ish with 700-1200 francoTurtle. I wasn't really expecting that much.

I ran a lot of test and figured out the having "force gpu rendering" checked will increase your 2d score on quadrant.
I get 900-1000 with it enabled
I get 200-300 with it not checked.

Great, finally a proper way to compare our e-penises. Let's hope people still realize Quadrant scores are not a good way to compare roms... (or maybe I'm just saying this because my scores are rather low )

If you're using Franco's nightly. Try the 384 instead of the 512. Or install milestone 3

Use the 384mhz gpu version, your phone can't handle the 512mhz version.
It'll be fine with 384.

The milestone versions are stock gpu, 307mhz, the nightlies have two versions, 384 and 512mhz.
You should be able to run the 384mhz nightlies without artifacts.
The faster gpu gives a performance boost but its not a huge difference.

Newer cm builds not as smooth.

I've noticed that newer builds towards the end of the month are not as smooth as ones from say the 21st. Its almost as if the gpu is is performing worse. Its not kernel related. Ran the same kernel on both and even copies the old trebuchet.apk from the old build. Tried cm10 kang by winner00 and euroskanks jellybro build. Same thing on both. The older builds from mid month have no such issue. I can confirm this on two different galaxy nexus. Ran Franco 248 384 GPU on both. Its very noticeable if you start closing the app drawer before it finishes scrolling or finishes the over scroll effect. It used to be smooth. Now it gets choppy like it would in ICS.
Let's try to find out which change on the gerrit is responsible.
I am pretty sure it was merged somewhere between the 21st and the 30th.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Small update: the quadrant scores on 3d and 2d were also significantly lower on the new builds even on the same kernel. Almost 20% on the 3d. CPU, memory, and io were all roughly about the same.
2591 for 3d on build 8-21 on Franco 248 384 GPU
2250 for 3d on build 9-03 on Franco 248 384 GPU

I know. Its been like this for a week now. I was hoping to track down which change was merged that is responsible for the drop in performance that way we can figure out why it decreased performance. The difference in performance is noticeable.
