[Q] T-Mobile Stock Rom Baseband/Kernel...Is my phone stock? - T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy SIII

Sorry if this was posted already but I bought my phone brand new, straight from Tmo store, and I'm shocked at the amount of the stock options on the phone. Tethering being one of them, seeing as I do not have that in my plan.
Model: SGH-T999

Is this stock TMO info?

Anyone not rooted able to check their about phone to see if this info matches up?

Att s3 ERI

So I have my s3 rooted in stock.all I have done is root...wanted to backup imei before flashing any roms. As I was looking at my imei and serial number and realized that my eri said not available. Is this a bad thing? Phone seems to work great and I've had no problems...but when I look online allot of people say it's a bad thing? Any advice would be appreciated.
Also when I enter dialpad # to get phoneutils I get a force close ( on stock dialer) and ideas?
Edit* or does someone have a att stock phone? Could you tell me what your eri says?

My phone that is AT&T stock 4.0.4, with the upgrade from about a month ago, says ERI, not available, and have had no issues with the phone at all. What it means I have no clue

Canadian Note II Firmwares up on Samsung Kies Servers

For anyone wanting to get a stock firmware for the Canadian Note II They have finally been uploaded to the Samsung Kies servers lastnight.
For those that know how to use CheckFus to check and download firmware files off of Samsung servers here is the information.
Model: SGH-I317M
HIDSWVER: I317MVLALJ2/I317MOYAALJ2/I317MVLALJ2/I317MVLALJ2
All Canadian Galaxy Note II's are using the same firmware and Samsung Canada has decided to bundle them together in one, so there is no change in the CSC name. Everything is the same except for what CSC your actually using for your carrier and its software extras+wifi settings.
Just use the following Product Codes to get the right one for your carrier:
BMC = Bell
RWC = Rogers
TLS = Telus
VMC = Virgin Mobile
BWA = SaskTel
I see Sammobile.com has just finished processing the Rogers one and Samsung-updates.com has already processed the SaskTel one. Im sure they will have the others later on as well.
Are you sure that VMC is Virgin mobile and not videotron? I didnt know Virgin sold the Note?

Yes I'm sure VMC is Virgin, all of the product codes are short forums for the carriers
VMC is short for Virgin Mobile Canada
BMC is short for Bell Mobility Canada
RWC is short for Rogers Wireless Canada
TLS Telus
SaskTel is the only Odd man out here, with BWA , but I believe it stands for Bell Western Alliance, but its really just a shot in the dark. But I do know that SaskTel gets their phones and firmwares from Bell though so makes sence.
Videotron is VTR. and They also don't have the LTE enabled version of the Note II which is model SGH-T889V
Saweeeest finally

I've also finished making a root injected Bell rom a couple hours ago just haven't had the chance to test it yet. If all goes well then I'll do the others as well. Don't want to get anyone's hopes up though so dont hold your breath as I'm still an newbie at Andriod development stuff lol.

This is the version the phones shipped with
So if I flash this with Odin, will the status no longer be "modified", and will OTA work? I understand that I will lose root.

Difference between Product name and model number?

My Mobile network has decided to stop working,and while repairing my S3 by trying to flash back to a stock firmware ive noticed that on download mode it says next to the product name:SCH-I535.....But when go to check on my baseband (which is displaying Unknown) under "about device" I noticed that the model number says SGH-T999. have a tmobile sim card but SCH-I535 is a Verizon model. So my question is which one is correct Model number:SGH-T999 or Product name: SCH-I1535??
Look under the battery.

Unified Toolkit problem

Here is the problem I am having with the Toolkit.
I have the T-Mobile version but I do not see the correct option in the toolkit for my model.
I have Android 4.1.2 and build number JZO54K. Neither build number for T-Mobile matches mine. Also, both T-Mobile versions in the Toolkit say they are for version number 4.1.1
I did do a warranty exchange about 3 months ago with T-Mobile. Is it possible they sent me a international version instead?

Sprint phone Flashed to Straight Talk.. update android??

Unsure if I am putting this in the right section I had a sprint samsung galaxy s3 which I got flashed over to straight talk and I believe it uses the Verizon towers now I really have no idea but after I flashed it over put a rom on it and I was just curious as to if anybody knows how I can update the phone to the newer version of Android because right now it has Android version 4.1.2 on it this phone is a model SPH L710
Baseband version is L710vpucmK3
Kernel
3.0.69-KT747-g256c7b3
[email protected] #1
Hardware version l710.14
Build JZO54K.L710VPBMD4
The Peoples Rom gs316
Hey just want to know how I can upgrade this to the newer version of Android help me I would appreciate it thank you
Sent from my SCH-I545 using XDA Free mobile app
Depends on how it was flashed...if it was directly through straight talks website which only costs 15 dollars and they do it over the air its still using sprint towers not verizon...if that's how it was done then you can update....if it wasn't your stuck on that version
I had a friend flash it over to straight talk, then I put the ROM on it. It was just a while ago so I have no clue how I did it or what I used....

I use a flashed phone but on Verizon.
I flash different roms and never have any problems. If it was flashed correctly then the phone settings should stick. 3g text calls that is.
