[ROM] (INFO) BlackICE Kangorade 40.5 (7/08/12) - Verizon Droid Incredible 2

NOTE: I TAKE NO CREDIT FOR THIS ROM. I AM CURRENTLY RUNNING THIS ROM ON MY DINC2, THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD ROM, AND WOULD LIKE TO SHARE IT WITH YOU GUYS! ALL CREDIT GOES TO DEVELOPER TRAVP624 AND TEAMICE.
For this rom, make sure to follow the INSTRUCTIONS VERY CAREFULLY, there are 2 different GApps packages that you need to download.
Bugs: Camera: FLASH DOES NOT WORK, neither does camcorder (720p or 480p), I don't know if any 3rd party Camera apps will be able to fix this. Also, for some reason, in the Notification Drawer, next to the settings button, the date does not show up.

Not sure haven't tried it yet but it is based off of AOKP's Milestone 6, so I would assume that it has the same camera issues or lack thereof, as AOKP Milestone 6
Edit: Updated OP

I would say that you'll need to flash the soft key light fix, camera and camcorder fix, change apn and camera flash won't work either. That fix is in the ram disk. Just giving a heads up so there's no surprises .... I could be wrong. But expect to see the same things as previous aokp builds.

Wow! This is working great for me....thanks for posting!

For the flash, you can try to adjust the permissions on /sys/camera_led_status/led_ril_status to 0664 using either a file explorer or terminal. In terminal use: su, chmod 0664 /sys/camera_led_status/led_ril_status. Until the developer places this update in the ROM, you will likely have to do this each reboot unless you create a script. Note: I haven't tested this; it's just a fix I had to use in my build but it worked on other AOSP versions.

His main focus seems to be the galaxy nexus. The Inc2 wasn't included until the final release, and isn't listed on the downloads page either.

The rom has battery mods but those are listed in ROM Control which doesn't work for the moment. If you want to make it work head over to the bug list thread opened by Lloir in General section and push the ROMControl.apk to system/app
So, can't say this works no where near latest JB b78. After putting the files inside and making rom control work, the rom works ok, with some lag here and there. Good news is that the scheduler changer works from the rom control. Anyways, these are early days for the rom, I'm sure things will be fixed in the near future.
Think I'm going back to JB thought...

[ROM][07-02-13] Andromadus builds - CM10[133][3.0.61]

Andromadus - Test Builds for glacier ported from Desire S :fingers-crossed:
Flinny said:
To start with here you will find test versions of ROMs built by me from the Andromadus github repo http://github.com/Andromadus, think of them along the same concept as nightly builds just not every night These are development ROM's, if you want to run bleeding edge development ROM's and at least know how to use adb and logcat then you might find something of interest here. If you require something that works 100% of the time all of the time then this might not be for you. That said you can always give it a try and if it doesn't work restore your previous nandroid backup!
What IS Andromadus?
Initially it was a group of people who got together to make ICS work on the HTC Desire Z because nobody else seemed to want to support devices with physical hardware keyboards/trackpads. Whilst the idea stays the same It has grown slightly to support some other hardware and some of the work we have done is now used in many other devices. Andromadus builds of CM10 or CM10.1 are basically CM sources with a few additional tweaks or additions to support our phones.
1. New versions will be added as and when I feel there are enough changes to warrant one, don’t ask when the next version is coming.
2. If we decide to release a "Stable" version of these roms they will be published in another Andromadus thread.
Direct all your queries with release versions to that thread and in the same vain do not discuss these releases anywhere but here.
3. I will do as best I can to answer questions but if you don't get an answer from me I'm sure somebody else will be along to help. Help each other and I have more time to spend fixing things!
4. Don't ask for what's changed since the previous version, have a look at the recent submits on the Andromadus github if you want to know or wait for the mini changelogs when I post a new release.
5. If there is something in particular to test it'll be mentioned!
6. As always if you didn't wipe between installations then at least verify that the problem exists on a clean install before posting here. Nandroid/superwipe/install/check at the end of the day you can always restore your nandroid if the problem is reproducible on a clean installation. If you can't be bothered to try this then I really can't be bothered to try to help you :>
7. All that said ensure you make a nandroid/backup before hand. I take no responsibility for what you do to your phone with these ROM.
8. Whilst I can't stop you I would rather these builds were not used as a base for any ROM/MOD/ETC. The source is all available if you want to do your own builds with which you can do whatever you like.
9. Tell us what works/what's worse/what's better but don't ***** when something breaks or isn't fixed yet, report it and move on.
10. Sometimes people forget that we do this for fun, for ourselves, and sometimes your super important issue is way down on our personal list of things to be fixed.
If you ignore any of the above you will in turn be ignored.
Now that's all out of the way as always have fun
As usual you need to flash the ROM then GAPPS.
Checkout http://andromadus.flinny.org for links/files/changelog's
This a team/community effort, I'll not list everyone who has helped along the way here that list is in the beta thread but I will say thanks to all of them again and obviously anyone that has been missed.

SDCARD Notice
Android 4.2 significantly changes the way how sdcards are handled internally, due to this we dropped USB Mass storage support. This build does only support MTP!
Also note that the ROM will move your data from /sdcard/ into /sdcard/0 on first boot (0 is the 'home directory' of the default user). If you go back to 4.1.2: Don't forget to move the data in 0/ back to the root of your sdcard.
Going back to 4.1.2
If you go back to your old 4.1 backup: Do not forget to re-flash your 'old' boot.img.
Also note that you'll have to move your migrated data from /sdcard/0/ back to /sdcard/ (CWM doesn't know about /sdcard/0/ yet).
This can be done via (while booted in CWM):
adb shell
cd /sdcard/0/
mv * ../
mv .* ../
cd ..

This is the same that u tested, so the flight mode "bug" will still be there... Will need to look into that...
Maybe just turn off WiFi and data for the night?

I've got this issue that when I flash the rom + gapps. The installer chrashes on first boot, thus leaving me unable to do anything with my phone. I've included my logcat that I made from boot in an attachement. Hope you can find something.
Without gapps, the rom works fine though.
Edit: Gapss work fine after rebooting once on a clean rom and then flashing gapps.

I'm starting to think this is a language problem, can you choose english, see if the keyboard works? Might need to download keyboard dictionary for your language...
Or if you are handy with logcat, can you please logcat it?
Also, please confrim that you're using the latest 4.2.1 GAPPS from goo.im?

I cannot seem to replicate it, so I will need a logcat to see what is going on...
I do have an adb logcat script for windows, but it is on my work computer, so have no access to it now..

READ THIS POST, IT'S VERY IMPORTANT
Qoute from the creator of AOKPA "When I first got my Galaxy S III this is what I dreamed of eventually running on my phone — A ROM that has all the capabilities of ParanoidAndroid, all the features of AOKP, and one that utilizes CyanogenMod as a solid base. ParanoidKANGdroid is based off CyanogenMod source code with all the features from ParanoidAndroid and AOKP merged into the frameworks and settings. I really hope you all have a good experience with this ROM. I made my own kernel for ParanoidKANGdroid that has overclocking, undervolting, and quite a few performance tweaks. Also, under settings you will see a tab for "Update Center" which will launch goo manager which is where you can receive OTA updates for this ROM. Before I conclude I would like to thank everyone that helped make this ROM possible."

INSTRUCTIONS
Code:
1.[COLOR="Red"] Use any GB/ICS MODEM![/COLOR]
2. Reboot to recovery
3. Wipe cache, dalvik cache, data factory reset
4. Install Rom
5. Reboot and enjoy
If you have an issue and you want to call my attention, here's what you do:
1. Try everything you can, find solutions for yourself. Wipe caches, revert all your settings you have made, go back to your working Kernel, factory reset if you have to or reflash the rom. Assume that the issue is on your side and try your best to isolate it.
2. Search this thread, Cyanogenmod's, ParanoidAndroid's, and AOKP's as well for possible reoccurences of your issue and hopefully solutions that may have come up.
3. If you think the issue is important enough that we should cease our work and look into it, post your issue, BUT ...
... stay friendly, do not demand anything, do not threaten
... explain your issue as precise as you can, name the exact apps and conditions that cause trouble, help us to replicate the issue right away. If we can't there's no way we can fix it and your post will simply clutter the thread
... collect evidence.

Nice rom but the only thing keeping me from keeping this ROM for long is the fact that I can't seem to get it out of 320 DPI every different app I check from the market seems to think its in 240 and refuses to revert it back and also checking paranoid settings and changing it manually I can't for anything to fix it for me

Official?
Any news when the official release for d2att? Is this UNofficial release good for DD?
currently running 2.9 and was wondering if it's worth the jump?
Nice and smooth so far but only issue for me is the battery drain. Anyone else having this issue? I was told to try lowering the clock speed which I did but that did'nt help. Any ideas??
Maybe try another kernel?

Well so far I like it but I have no root access.
I had a rooted phone and downloaded your rom and your gapps and your su and flashed them all at the same time in twrp.
Got my apps back from the play store and went to back them up with titbu and it wouldn't run due to no root.
This is a replacement phone I got yesterday. I did run this app to root it and install twrp on it
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1746665
Now clicking on SU in the app drawer it tells me that there is SU binary installed SU can't install it and I need to manually re-root if I upgraded to 4.3

So have to flash the rom and gapps first boot then go back an reflash su. Well I missed that saw the su to flash but didn't see the 2 steps will try that.

Sorry your having troubles! Here's what I do. U could do what u just said or.. Flash rom , then gapps, then su. One after the other. Don't wipe anything between flashing each. Just completely wipe the first initial time before flashing the ROM.

I want to say this issue is my fault I didn't download the su file in the OP I used an older one. Hence my issue. So when I flashed to correct one I have root.
Now I got another issue the Camera doesn't work. Tried several and they all say can't connect to the camera
