I Started This Thread To Talk About The New Theme
So What Can You Say About The 2013 Theme??
For me, the 2013 Theme is Professional Looking, but lacks the ambiance and feel of the Spirit of XDA...
I Am Still Adjusting, but 2013 Theme is much more simple, and surely will benefit everyone, especially people with not so strong internet connection..So Whats your insight?:highfive:

It looks decent but with a little different layout than the old one so it'll take some time for me to get used to it.

yes, it will take some time to get used to because 2013 theme is leaned more on the left
The 2013 theme is great but the 2010 one is like a classic, easy and simple....d 2013 one is a bit complex....

it is the coolest theme xda had ever made but when talking about browsing in uc browser, ibibo browser 2010 theme is much more suitable and understandable than 2013 theme
1 thing I don't like is the country flag, and carrier image is hidden in more info, it should be open like in 2010 theme

there is an option to hide sidebar to ease the complexity and the leaning of objects to the left:good:

We have been used to the 2010 theme, give it time and you will appreciate the new one:highfive:
Also the thanks button is on left side, which is not easily accessible to new bee ... It should be beneath the post so that a post can be easily thanked

no problem here bro, for me its responsive compared to 2010, but needs a lot of getting used to:highfive:
I find that 2013 works faster than 2010 for me...
I like the look of it too, there's just something about the overall theme that I find much better than the previous ones. I've had no problems using it.

good for you bro, i also find 2013 quite nice..but we really need a lot of getting used to since the 2010 theme has been there for a long time:good:

2013 is way better than 2010, makes me feel i am doing some super pro thing even when i am posting in FAQ about unrooting!! LOL
New theme is clean and the layout is nice. No I can see my subscribed threads without going to usercp.

Its clean but takes more time to load since it loads posts from xda portal. I normally visit them when not on xda. So for me 2010 is better

Not much of a valuable subject for a thread but since it's here, this is easy on the eyes, very smooth, and does not seek to put it's design above the content. Sorry to disagree, but this forum needs no changes to improve it's information delivery. Maybe others do, this one doesn't. It's easy to ready and find what I want, what more could you ask for?

Who here likes the 2010 xda them better than the 2013 xda theme?
i like the 2010 xda theme, mainly because the 2013 theme look bland, and unoriginal. if i was to look at another forum the theme would look pretty similar, but the 2010 theme looks original and you could easily tell its xda-developers.com
just my opinion, whats your opinion?
IMO, so what if it looks somewhat like other sites? It's usefulness that matters. And when you get used to the new theme, you forget about looks. It's clearer also

it was just my opnion, i was wondering if anyone else felt the sameway
Due to the fact that I'm only on my phone, the majority of the time I use the app, but I do jump on desktop version sometimes and from what I've seen, I prefer the 2013 theme to be honest. But I'm not sure about the functionality difference though.

:highfive: i was starting to think i was the only one, but its alright because xda gives you an option to use the 2010 theme!!!
The fonts are too small in the new theme...
Other than that, I'm all good with the new theme...

Hello, long story short I saw a low-res version of this wallpaper and finally found an HD copy.
I decided to play with it and added a little color. I figured I'd post them here, the design is fairly clean and minimal with a little ZING =]
Let me know if you want it in different colors, or tone it down a little bit. Here are a few samples right now, I plan on making different colors tonight after work.

I normally use Classic because it looks much better and is more user friendly, but as of today there's no background colours.

guys there was a tweet about XDA migration to new data center today, so that would be the reason for any glitches, so just report here
or use 2013 beta template for now
Hopefully, @bitpushr would be able to remedy it

The 2013 theme is crap. Don't know why they made it; it's horrible and takes up way too much space.

Agree with you guys that 2010 template is much more pleasant to use but some of the features in 2013 seems to be unavailable in 2010, like "participated", so its best to have all the features in all templates IF possible

2010 still not displaying properly, like others here I don't like the 2013 style and I'm hoping the problem is being worked on?
Classic theme is an ok temp replacement for now.
2013 color scheme is just... terrible distracting not that great. Really don't care about a few useless features.
Also starting to wonder why the Tapatalk 2 based app is now completely useless. Blank posts at the top, touch is way off, fc's everywhere. It's definitely related to the site.

Is there any chance Development DB downloads (e.g http://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=1761) could be made to work in the 2010 theme by the way, as like many others here I really don't like the 2013 themes at all.
