[REQ] Aircrack/Back5 for T989? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

Is it possible to get a WEP or WPA cracker for the T989 such as Aircrack or Backtrack5 or perhaps a simple apk with root access? More importantly does the wifi antenna even support the needed modes?
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium

I have a app that cracks routers. I've used it with Thomson routers and it's opened everyone. It's a simple apk that i open, click on the network and it'll give me the password within two minutes. Its pretty quick, really simple and sweet. XD i believe it works with a few other brands but I've only tried it with Thomson's.
i live in Puerto Rico and one of the major ISPs here give Thomson routers to their customers so that's a plus for me.

What's the app called
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda app-developers app

Router Keygen. Very original. XD
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2

Yeah asking for something that works as universally as possible.
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium

Yeah because router keygen is mostly foreign router....I see dlink
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium

That one doesn't support a lot of us routers I just tried. Two had no essid support
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda app-developers app

Man it would be awesome if there's one with support for more routers. I jump from vessel to vessel (work offshore) and those guys don't like to share Internet.

I am having the same issue. Is anyone living in the dfw area on tmobile network having data issues? I go outside I get 15 mbps I sit in my house I get 300kpbs. Ive called tmobile and they are looking into it. But its been like this for almost a month now. You should call them and tell them whats going on. First call customer care and tell them the issue. They gave me credit on my account because why pay for something that dont work right then they'll connect you to tech support. Good luck. If we get more people to call in maybe they do something nationwide.

You don't have wifi ? because wifi calling is great...but conversely you might try turing your phones wifi off at the house and restart..I had a problem at first as the phone would jump off the gsm network and on to a bad wifi signal

Glonass gps support?

Anybody knows if this phone comes with it enabled like the Galaxy S3/Note 2? I know the S4 chip supports it but I keep reading online some manufacturers like HTC and LG disable it. Anyone?

Basically I'm looking to see if this phone has the ability to see the extra Russian satellites. Like this picture, the square ones are glonass. Gps is so great getting locks with the extra sats. Person already has issues with her current phone (gs2) so that's my main reason for checking. If not I guess gs3 it is =(

I owned an s2 before this phone and I can tell you that the Gps in the s2 was crap! The difference in the lock on time between these two phones are night and day.. As far as picking up the extra Russian satellites I'm not sure on.

Nearly positive it does since it uses the S4 Pro, everything after the S4 should have it built in.

If it's anything like my Note 2 I already know! Those are indeed Russian satellites. I'm already sold on getting her this device just for the fact it's a quadcore plus now it's verified that glonass is enabled. I hope development for this phone picks up asap!

Cancel your Netflix accounts...

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kmc.onechannel.tvshows
That application found in the app store is 100x better.
It has every episode of everything with new episodes updated as soon as an hour before it even airs (for me being on the west coast, things come on earlier on the east coast), situated nicely into an easy to use interface.
There are a few bugs, but they are bearable, and worth the price of $0.
I've been using this for about a month and I'm also thinking about canceling my cable tv.

I have never heard of that until my friend showed me it like last week. You've got this plus more, and it looks even better and easier to navigate around right?
I was just sharing because it's a mobile app on the marketplace and people like connecting their phone directly to their tele to watch things.

great recommend on a new service plugin to add to my HTPC! I also won't be canceling my NF, but more options is always a better thing, imho.

Sweet. I don't use Netflix from my phone, but this looks great. Love that I can use it on my Logitech Revue. I use Icefilms a lot, but that doesn't work very well with Android. This works pretty good over wifi if you grab a link that is working.
Nice find.

who knows, but it's semi common problem, some apps never saw 4g as an internet connection, only 3g and wifi, happened with my old wimax 4g phones with certain apps, but i'll keep trying cause this would be great on the go, and since my area is completely covered with LTE, i don't want to have to keep switching back to 3g just for the app

Smyrna, GA checking in. Spring Road area, getting 28 ms Pings, 15 - 32 Mbps download speeds and 6 - 23 Mbps upload speeds. Seems to be quite sporadic, but still quite often close to my Charter internet speeds.
Not even close to mine. However that could be signal related. My charter speeds as tested by the blue ray on Netflix consistently shows 45mbps and as high as 150mbps even though we only pay for 30mbps. On my phone via WiFi its 30-40 Mbps to as high as 46 Mbps on the 5gig band. My best with the old 4g was 27 and late was 19.

Unroofed because of skygo

there are ways to prevent apps from knowing you're rooted.
for example, my bank's app refused to run since my phone was rooted; the advice here:
http://blog.zackehh.com/using-barclays-mobile-banking-rooted/
could also work for your unroofed device.
