Zagg HD in the UK - HTC One X

Does anybody know where I can buy a Zagg Invisibleshield HD in the UK.
I have just fitted the original Zagg Invisibleshield but it feels tacky to the touch, I believe this is referred to as an "orange peel" effect. Apparently this new HD invisibleshield doesn't have that effect.
Thanks

[Q] Should I purchase a Zagg InvisibleShield screen protector or something else?

Hey guys. Just bought the S2 from Expansys-USA to use here with AT&T. It’s a fantastic device. However, I would like to also purchase a screen protector. Here’s where I need your guys' input and opinions.
In the past, I've used only the Zagg InvisibleShield and had them professionally installed at one of the Zagg carts/kiosks at my local malls. For the most part, they worked beautifully. Very smooth installation, although the screen itself had more of a "tacky" feel to it.
While researching the InvisibleShield for the S2, I came across this review on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WnL-Jcievc
Basically, the user gave a negative experience using the InvisibleShield and his S2. The reason was that the InvisibleShield left a permanent imprint on the phone and was too tacky for his tastes. I don’t mind the tackiness, but what worries me is possible damage to the phone in either of an imprint form (as this reviewer said) or possible water damage (as the idea of using any type of liquid always scares me). Although I have had 4 phones done with an InvisibleShield screen protector, the water did not prove to be problematic.
However, this time, I am paying pretty much $600-700 upfront with my own money without warranty for this unlocked version. This has gotten me worried whether I should still purchase the InvisibleShield and let them professionally install it. You never know when water/liquid can damage electronics! Especially with a new product like this… :-(
Anyhow, for those who either ARE currently using the InvisibleShield with the S2 and/or have used it before, but changed to another screen protector, what are your thoughts? Should I use it? I was thinking to just purchase the FRONT screen protector (not full body nor sides), and then buy a case that would be compatible with this screen protector.
Or should I purchase another screen protector? The SGP Oleophobic is what the YouTube reviewer chose, and it seems SGP products are favored with this phone. I guess the advantage is I would not have to use water. Anyhow, what do you guys think?
I used an Invisible shield before, and I must say, the SGP Glas is better in my opinion. I dont like the feel of the invisible shield, it feels like paper to me :O

I used zagg for myes previous phone and now im using sgp incredible shield. I find the sgp to be a lot smoother. The screen protector that came with it is extremely clear and smooth.

+1 for the SGP screen protectors.
Initially I purchased a Skinomi full body protection (similar to zagg) but ended up ripping it off due to my unsatisfactory installation and feel when using my phone.
I am currently using the SGP Ultra Optics and a case from PDair and I could not be happier.
I just put sgp oleophobic pretty good protector i not like zagg products

Thanks for responding, guys.
Anyhow, in regards to all your recommendations for the screen protector OTHER than InvisibleShield, aka SGP ones....
I am always worried with wet/water-based screen protectors. I've had nothing but good experience with InvisibleShield before. But now I am just worried that water damage could be a risk/possibility when trying to install any screen protector.
Of course, if I were to install the InvisibleShield, I would not install it myself. I'd most likely pay $5 for one of Zagg guys to do it.
Still, the idea of damaging my newly, $650 phone with water doesn't seem too appealing to me. Do the SGP screen protectors also need water (are they wet/solution based)? If so, any issues? I'm slightly paranoid when it comes to water + electronics. The thought of water dripping into the speaker/camera/battery or any other small slots/holes tends to scare me.
Or any other issues with SGP? Can they be removed easily? Any issues with screwing up the phone? And so forth...
The SGP Screen protectors do not use any kind of liquid, they are DRY stick-ons like regular screen protectors, only better. SGP Glas is also a dry item and is going to be my next choice.
My friend actually water damaged his Sensation yesterday trying to apply an Invisible Shield.
In terms of removal, Just use a piece of scotch tape. This works for almost any dry screen protector. You just apply the tape to a corner, and pull up, it will nicely remove the protector without damaging it. This is a great way to remove dirt too.
Regular SGP screen protectors are about $14 for a 2-pack. That is way cheaper than Invisible Shield.
Using an Ultra Optics right now.
On ebay I saw a store selling an SGP NEO Hybrid case for $24 and it includes a 2 pack of SGP crystal screen protectors. Good deal.

That's my video.
I feel I should clarify something though. When I mentioned an 'imprint', I wasn't referring to anything the protector leaves behind on the phone, but an actual imprint on the protector itself from the packaging. If you look carefully (I know it's hard as the light changes) there is an outline of a shield on the screen.
The cardboard box Zagg provide the protectors in has a cut-out in the front. The protector is placed behind this cutout. During packaging/delivery a weight of somesort has been applied on the parcel and it has resulted in an imprint of this shield being formed on the protector.
Zagg told me to leave it a few days for it to disappear - but it didn't.
They sent me a replacement, but it was exactly the same. I didn't get as far as installing the second protector, but wrote the whole Zagg IS off (imprint, orange peel, tacky feel) and got the SGP Oleophobic.
I hope that clears a few things up.

the best wet screen protector?

I have bought ultra crystal and they discontinued it so I'm supposed to receive Ultra Nano Clear (http://www.spigen.com/cell-phone/sa...een-protector-steinheil-ultra-nano-clear.html) for replacement. But, I'm still not satisfied that the screen protector doesn't cover the whole screen, so I'm thinking moving on to the wet screen protector. I don't have many information about wet screen protectors, though. Only I know is Skinomi TechSkin, Zagg Invisible Shield & SGP Flex HD. I have used Zagg's Invisible shield, but haven't used Skinomi and SGP Flex HD. Which one should I use? or feel free to reply any wet screen protector you know.

SGP Flex HD: http://www.spigen.com/cell-phone/sa...3-screen-protector-steinheil-flex-series.html
Zagg's Invisible Shield: http://www.zagg.com/invisibleshield...es-screen-protectors-covers-skins-shields.php
I got the Flex HD protector. I have always really liked SGP's stuff. Had Zagg before and didn't like it at all.
XO are pretty nice.
if anyone comes in and has any opinions to offer on skinomi please share them. I ordered a carbon fiber skin and didnt plan to use the screen protector that came with it. but if theyre good quality i might try it.
Ill let you know in a week. I just got a skinomi for .99 cents ! From amazon

I don't have Skinomi's screen protector (SP) on mine but I never liked their SP, due to being rubbery. I prefer the hard feeling for a SP. But, I love Skinomi's Carbon Fiber kit.
Has anybody tried this one?

I tried zagg. Problem is it isn't dust proof. Most screen protecter can withstand dust before actually getting dirty. Zagg can't.

wow I thought Zagg would win! I still have nano clear coming so I will just wait a little bit to see other people's experience with nano clear. It would be simple if I return ultra nano clear and get flex hd since it's from the same provider.
Had the Zagg, hated it. Bought a Copter one, better, but still not great. Ordered a Skinomi one from the web, and it's the best yet(don't like the feeling of it, but it has the best fit ever). Also bought some Belkin dry fit ones, but the cut was just all wrong.

just arrived and applied the FLEX HD, it covers perfectly all my screen.
I have skins from BestSkinsEver, and I like it quite a bit, it covers the entire phone and, even with me constantly slipping it in and out of the leather pouch, none of the skins on the side rim/silver area have peeled off.
I prefer a $5 screen protector. It isn't glossy but smooth and doesn't peel of easily

That's what I'm using and its great. It's the clearest wet protector I've ever seen.
Deebo took your bike too?!
I have the same problem with the sweaty hands I'm thinking about getting a screen protector is the flex good as it is a wet screen protector out do you recommend anything else because I use Swype for my typing and don't want my sweaty fingers to be a problem. While on the topic what do you prefer Swype or swift key?

okay! i placed my order on Flex HD. I haven't got my phone, yet but i'm exchanging this with Ultra Crystal. Is anybody using it for now?
hey guys, i got an S3 Flex HD screenshield by mistake due to shipping errors from where i bought it from, so i am selling mine on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320939853305#ht_1242wt_1139
thanks for looking
bumping an old thread...
is the consensus still SGP flex HD being supreme as far as wet protectors go?
any other brands besides the 3 listed up top?
looking for one that has good clarity and not to much of that tacky feeling ( I know aren't we all?) haha

SGP Incredible Shield? Zagg Invisible Shield?

I was on SGP website to place an order of Ultra Nano Clear (Just read a review today! ), but I found Incredible Shield is sold online. It looks like Zagg's Invisible Shield and I want a shield for now because I wanna enjoy the sleek look of my new phone lol So, which one would you recommend? I have searched sgp screen protectors, but threads only talk about the Ultra crystal and nothing about incredible shield. Has anybody used it? I know Zagg is popular, but I heard SGP has the top notch screen protector, so I couldn't decide which one to get.

http://www.zagg.com/invisibleshield...es-screen-protectors-covers-skins-shields.php
I just ordered the SGP Flex HD one I feel no need to have a case on the back which is plastic, I got this one because i'm hoping my fingers glide across the screen better but I also heard it might have the orange peel effect.
I also heard the zagg screen protectors are more rubbery.
I would say Zagg for most protection but thick and rubbery
or SGP for less protection but nicer.
I will vote SGP as it still protects your phone fairly well.
I am using Zagg as it helps me grip the phone better cause of its rubbery feel. Costs me $30 full body cover. Bought it in a local cell shop.
Zagg one is good but not best. I do use front cover and needed to remove back one to be able to use back cover from CruzerLite. And have problem on front too. Will try to put Flex HD and see if will have the same problem. Any one have screen protector on front and use custon back cover?
I just purchased Flex HD, so Incredible Shield has to be better!! incredible Shield might be a good deal because you don't need a case !
Thumbs down Invisible Shield
I'm not impressed at all with the Zagg Invisible Shield. It has a lot of orange peel effect, and was difficult to apply without some imperfections. I do like the feel of it though, which is a little bit less slippery than the stock screen. But I'll probably upgrade the screen protector to something else that has less of an optical distortion effect. The Zagg protector is pretty tough though, I tried scratching it with a key and it resisted. I just wish it didn't have such an orange peel effect.

zagg case friendly screen protector

hey all,
long time since i roamed the xda forums..
any thoughts about the Zagg HD case friendly screen protector for the N5?
I've been a long time user of zagg protectors for the iphone, don't really know any of the competition.. would be happy to hear your two cents about all of them out there..

Your hotlink is messed up.
This looks pretty interesting! Zagg's Invisible Shields are usually pretty tacky feeling but this is listed as "Glass-like surface". I wonder if its more rigid and not prone to the "orange peel effect". Also wondering if this will be wet or dry apply?

Fixed the link - i think.
I have the exact shield for my current iphone 5 (still waiting on my N5) and its wet apply (i think all zagg are such) and it definitely has less "orange peel" than the original zagg shiels (that are not HD labeled)..

[?] SuperShieldz HD Clear Screen Protector

SuperShieldz is selling their new screen protector for the N5 for only 1.99+3.49 on Amazon. It's a 6 pack screen protector. Any idea how would it be? Haven't heard much about the company.
Thanks,
A
