This is just a small collection of mods, build for stock XXBLFB/LG6/LG8.
It doesn't work on deodexed ROMs!
Use at your own risk, it's not tested that much (it should work though ).
Please read the entire post before flashing, you may find some useful hints.

For those who wants to Change Battery Icon to others, Flash this. It has circle batt icon already (If you flash scheichuwe update battery on previous post, you still get green stock toggle but the signal in out will be blue color. This one is stock color for signal)

What it does??
StatusBar layout. Choose Right, Center or Switched. (Requires Reboot) (ScreenShots Below)
StatusBar options :-
Hide/Show the Battery Icon
Hide/Show the Clock
Hide/Show the Carrier. Change the Carrier to a logo. Change the carrier text.
Change the Notification date format.
Hide/Show the Signal Icon
Overscroll options :-
Choose the Overscroll effect
Choose the Overscroll weight
Colour options :-
Choose a solid Wallpaper
Choose the Clock colour
Choose the Carrier colour
Choose the Statusbar colour and transparency
App Drawer option :-
Enable a pulldown app drawer (Not of much use in ICS, this was designed with MIUI in mind, where no app drawer exists.)
What it doesn't do??
The following options have yet to be ported so have no effect.

Installation
Installation is a two part process.
First install the ICSsettings.apk (copy to your SDCARD and install like you would install any other app.

thx for the Mod. But i have a Problem now. I install the apk and the zip in CWM and reboot my device. But now i get a blank/naked Statusbar. After this i tried some other adjustment , like the Clock color etc. but the Statusbar ist still blank. Did i something wrong? thx

That is weird!! Not sure what that could be? It's not something I've come across during my testing. Let me know if the bar goes blank again..

Just installed ics from yourtopic, but after reboot i just got a black status bar.?
I saw someone else had this problem to but didnt really see a solution.
Would it be helpfull to wipe dalvik first, then flash again

I Decompiled the LE9 stock framework-res and enabled some features in it...
Not a very big deal, but nice to have.
-Enabled all rotations, the screen will rotate 360degrees.
-Enabled LockScreen Rotation, Lockscreen will rotate 360degrees.
-Disabled Keyboard Switch icon in Statusbar when typing.
-Enabled the CRT OFF(Old TV Effect) in the framework. But it is not working. Normally we set for crt-off:

But like I said, this doesn't seem to work on an S3.
So I tried a modded libsurfaceflinger.so from the S2 to make it work, but that failed also.
The "old television effect" is going to be a problem, to make that work on the S3, I can predict that!
-Sip/VOIP calling is allready activated on the S3, also over 3G, so I didn't have to activate that!
I fixed all the plurals, to be able to recompile the framework an recompiled it.
(So this framework-res can, from now on, be easily de and recompiled)

Made you an Extended Powermenu with reboot to Recovery and Download mode in it.
When press the on/off button for a few seconds, your extended powermenu shows up.
After flashing this zip, in that menu, under the restart button, you should find the options: "Recovery" and "Download" mode...
This mod is untested, because my girl Essie is allready sound asleep.
Edit: Now tested and working!
So if you want to test it, you would be the first!
I also included a RESTORE zip, this zip will restore things when somethings goes wrong!
If this mod is not working, reboot to recovery using the 3 button combo and flash the restore zip, ok?

If your Launcher isn't able to rotate, it won't rotate, even after this mod.
But when you go into settings or other apps, it will rotate 360degrees...(Atleast, if you have Auto-Rotate enabled in settings-display-auto rotate screen)
Also the lockscreen must rotate 360degrees.(Even with autorotation off)
Is the lockscreen rotating for you?

Jeah I can do that for you guys, that mod is not so complicated.
Keep in mind though I don't own a S3, my girl does. So I will need some people who are willing to test stuff for me... Also next week I'll put the statusbar clock in the middle of statusbar and make a PINK miui batterybar in top of the statusbar... Jeah I know, pink, but that's the way she wants it...
THE MIUI batterybar will be controllable from settings... Will also place the PINK MIUI Batterybar-mod in this thread for the people who like Pink...

Which ROM do I have:
If you are not familiar with ROM flashing and so on, perhaps you dont know on which ROM you are currently. Here are supported many different ROM-Versions, so if you dont know on which ROM you are or which files you have to flash, type in *#1234# in the dialer of your phone and a screen appears where the ROM-Version is mentioned. For example if the first line is "AP : I9300XXBLFB" you are on XXBLFB.

What is ODEXED:
In Stock ROMs as they come originally from Samsung, the jar's and apk's in /system/framework and /system/app are ODEXED. That means, that the functions (which are normally in the classes.dex inside the apk/jar) are sorced out in an .odex file. ODEXED files are faster than the DEODEXED versions of the jar/apk but DEODEXED files are more easy to modify, so custom ROMs are often DEODEXED.

If you want to know, wheather your ROM is ODEXED or DEODEXED, simply use an ROOT-EXPLORER and look into folders /system/app and /system/framework. If there are .odex files for most of the apk's/jar's you are ODEXED. If you cant find any .odex files to the apk's/jar's you are DEODEXED.

How-To Install:
- You must have a CWM-Recovery (e.g. from CF-Root)
- Download .zip-file (dont extract)
- Copy .zip to your SD-Card
- Reboot in Recovery (Volume Up + Home + Power)
- CHOOSE: install zip from sdcard
- CHOOSE: choose zip from sdcard
- Choose the .zip file from your scard
- CHOOSE: Yes - Install .... .zip
- Phone will flash files.
- Reboot your Phone

No, you dont need Siyah Kernel, this MOD is not kernal-related. Multi-View is part of the stock XXELL5-ROM so why do you need a MOD for this? And no it's not compatible with the INK-MOD because afaik thera are also changes in android.policy.jar needed for INK-Lockscreen!

Ok, I've tested your Mod and it's working good.
But when I've flashed Ink-Effect Mod with 16 colours, the EPM is gone and Multi-Window doesn't work anymore.
So (for me) the only way to have working CRT-OFF + EPM + Multi-Window + Ink-Effect is to flash the Mod with Siyah Kernel 1.8.3 and Ink-Effect + Restart Menu Mod.

Hy Sphinx; for one moment you gave-me hope about supposed CRT-Off fix. But I have to disagree. Your mod is kernel related, as usual since 4.1.2 was released. Just turn off Wi-Fi and crt effect fails, whit Stock Kernel.

Tried the crt-Mod on XXELL4 but it does not boot anymore. Gets stuck on samsung logo.
By the way, the XXELL4 is newer but has been rolled out later. Check the build date.
So fot me the Mod for the XXELL4 would be perfect , pls
XXELL4 is unbranded where XXELL5 firmware is mostly Vodafone really need multiwindow and battery Circle For XXELK4 Please help

Hey criscan, yes you are right! What a curious bug .. Have you already found a solution for it? I have used your MOD for 4.1.1 and never had this bug.. Perhaps I'll take a look at it...

It will only work when wifi is on otherwise it won't as from the start of JB firmwares the CRT-Off is a kernel related feature so to activate it just flash Siyah Kernel and Use Stweaks app to activate it. :-/ I was really excited when I saw the OP mentioning it wont require a Kernel but anyways..

Yes you are right, the MOD does not work without WIFI enabled.. Very curious and I did not find a solution for that, yet..

Test it right now and can not find any fc while toggling nfc! Seems as this depends not on my MOD..

I didn't flash it yet because I dont want to lose back to kill and volume skip for music n fm.. mirko will probably make this custom colour mod applicable in his next version along with other android policy features

I confirm that 4-way reboot and volume rocker mod disappears when installing this mod to disaster 7.0. Simply flash back disaster v7 update to get the ROM features back.

Really thanks for the new mod with the 4-Way reboot but i've a little issue with the Multi-Windows Bar. She stays on the screen after that you left the multi-windows.

This MOD is based on faria's 4.1.2-Jelly-bean ROM V5 but SHOULD work on previous versions of his ROM.
All this does is replace the battery icon with a stock style battery icon in blue, it also shows 5% increments to battery power.

Make a backup of System/app/SystemUI.apk (just incase!)
Download attached file and copy to your SD card
Using a Root File Manager, copy the SystemUI.apk to /System (NOT /System/app)
Set permissions:
Then move SystemUI.apk to /system/app and overwrite current file.
Reboot.
Also, I have tweaked a few other icons: Acquiring GPS and Signal strength, these are NOT modified from what is included in farias rom, just tidied up and sharpened.
I am looking at developing this more with other icon styles etc..

SystemUI.apk without battery icon
Hi!
I was thinking if it is possible to create a SystemUI.apk without the battery icon. In this way, using the samsung option (show percentage in setting menu), is possible to have in the status bar only the percentage of the battery (with big number!) and the problem I found is solved!
What do you think?
