I do not know what works or what doesn't
I do not know if this even boots.
I do not recommend flashing this. Until its been confirmed working.

Directions:
Wipe Data, Cache, and system
Flash the ROM

Reboot into the system (first boot will take several minutes)
If you are having issues flashing, try a CM9 based CWM:
What's Currently Broken:
Face unlock may not work until FFC has been used in the Camera app.
Market download issues: su, and then killall drmserver in the terminal (needs to be done after each reboot if you are still having issues)
... Let me know what else
If you like what I do, hit thanks or donate to a poor college student

More work on video decoding (but still not 100%)

[ROM][English][4-24-12]Ice Cold Sandwich Beta 1(ICS)

Ice Cold Sandwich port
Here is a port of Lord ClocKaNs Ice cold sandwich rom from the Desire HD! See original Ice Cold Sandwich rom here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1450962
Based off of jerl92's Cyanogenmod 9 [unofficial] rom! See original CM9 rom here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1492461
I am making this and, yes it is very smooth. BUT please realize that I am not a developer nor am I very good at this. I do NOT take any credit for how beautiful/smooth this rom is. I dont even take credit for porting it over. I used ajhavery's guide and help to be able to get this working. I think I know a little bit more about what I am doing so that I can carry on with updates.
Beta 1 is based off of cm9 RC0 Beta 1 NOT Beta 2 because I already made it and he should be updating soon and I will as well.
also here are some things that Lord ClocKaN said in his change-log for his latest version. I deleted some things he wrote as they did not apply to us.
added Dithering option to be enabled via build.prop
fixed double declaration in build.prop regarding H signal
updated SU
added some cool features to ROMControl from AOKP like statusbar icons and signal transparency
added text size option for statusbar - AOKP
Phone.apk changed to different source, so test for known bug is expected
added some new options for tethering - CM
added Sense 4.0 recent apps choser - thanks evilisto (let's see if it works and you guys like it)
Landscape mod for app choser by Robin
fixed Phone.apk bug when on a call and another call comes in
updated DeskClock app with flip to snooze option
added "hundred" patcehs to frameworks regarding video, gpu, etc...

Do you think you could get the tablet UI mod working on this rom. I tried it and I couldn't get it to work.
I found it here: http://rootzwiki.com/topic/23418-mod-tabletui-for-240-dpi-legacy-devices-aokp-b32b33b34/

It's not possible on this rom, since it uses modified files than AOKP.
To be able to use this mod, you need to port this rom:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1605896
All AOKP themes and mods will work with this rom.

Yes you can do it with cm9 as a base, and don't worry about the lag. Because while porting you are going to replace the framework files, so any framework related lag won't be there.
In my guide I've also added in the 3rd post, how to port it to Vision.
After porting if you could test that if it is booting with tiamat kernel then that would be great. Since it will kill any kernel related lag.

Are you thinking about CM9? Or is it too big for your HDD/SSD?
It's fast and I like it! Dutch translation is the only minor thing that is not so good.
Whit aokp I can ad shortcuts from Browser (without going to widges) and even from xda (when you long press samsung gio subforum and then press shortcut) to the homescreen. With your cm10 it didn't work.
ps: jellaxy is great ... fast updates
Edit: secgps.conf is in system/etc is this ok or can i put it in data/gps?

Thank you Erikcas! This is SUPER fast and BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!
I like it! :good:
It feels 10 times faster than CM10
I found that your last version of CM10 lagged like hell (especially in the browser) but despite that, it was still my daily driver
Thank you for this! :victory:

[ROM] Unofficial AOKP: 4.2.2 (JDQ39)

This was built from AOKP source using vendor trees from TheMuppets found here:

and device trees from TEAMBAKED - BIG thanks to them:

Thanks to BigRushDog for the hard work and the permission for me to use CDMATools. And also thanks for just being a cool person.
Here is AOKP website:

-Feel free to donate a few dollars if you have it to show your appreciation.
Here is the gerrit review:

My git: https://github.com/qnhoang81
This ROM is now using a CM kernel at moment and the source is here:
https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_kernel_samsung_crespo
My goal is to go over to AOSP kernel once I have a little more time to work on it.
What works:
Everything as far as I can tell
What's broken?
Hmm...not too sure. You tell me.
Directions:
1) Download
2) Make a backup
3) Wipe cache/dalvik - factory reset for those coming from a different ROM
4) Flash ROM
5) Flash GApps
6) Reboot
7) Enjoy
Download:

This is the official package from goo.im that I edited so that it does not override AOKP camera **NOTEhotosphere is not available for now, so if you want it so badly that you would rather not have all of the other options, then just use the official Gapps from goo.im**
I will post a changelog when I upload a build. Not every nightly will have a changelog, but I will post them as much as possible.
Note: Please report errors and things not working. However, please test the problem without any modifications to the build first.
Also, if there is something you would like to see or you think is cool to have, I would love to test it and include it in the ROM. So by all means, request away, and I will try my best to add it. But please...no asking for ETAs
DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN THIS DEVICE...By flashing this you take full responsibility for anything that may happen to the device, and I will not be held responsible if your phone steals your car and upgrade itself to a GALAXY NEXUS 4.
Have fun, and please post any problems found.

Works great so far! Thanks a lot for this.
Some issues I've found:
- CDMATools is not working. I've attached a screenshot of what I get when it opens.
- There is still an LTE toggle in the list of available tiles, which obviously doesn't do anything.
- There is no 4G/WiMAX toggle tile available.
- Fast Charge doesn't work (at least from the toggle tile...not sure if there's another way to toggle it).
Question: I imagine we can expect the Device Settings menu to change/disappear once the CM kernel is replaced?

The Device settings will be grayed out unless I hack it and add that function (which I might). Also, CDMA source were just released onto gerrit (Thanks BRD) so I will look into getting this fixed also. As far as the toggle is concerned, have you tired using the LTE toggle and see if 4G gets activated?

You don't need to hack in the Device Settings...NSTools from the Play Store offers most of the same options.
I did try toggling 4G using the LTE tile, it didn't work. The tile toggled between blue and grey, but the 4G connection stayed active the whole time, even when the tile said it was off.
BACON!!! Added Open source CDMATools. Hopefully that will fix issue. Sync to the my toroplus AOKP source, so all the cherry picks and merges should be up to date. Also added GooManager for ease of updates. Have fun guys.

Yes sir 4g and wifi work like a charm but tethering doesn't work. same as most other jelly bean roms. Not a problem for me personally.

Re: [rom] unofficial aokp: 4.2.2 (jdq39)
I should have said "wireless" tethering wasn't working. Didn't check usb tethering myself thanks for the clarification!

This is the only ROM I'd run on my D801 when it's ready.

Same here. AOKP whore checking in. It's either that or rooted stock because I have no need for anything else. I'm giddily (even a word?) waiting!
So have anyone flashed it?
Any bugs?
Cheers.

it just works
Powerbutton led doesnt light up when screen unlocks, but i would hardly call that a bug.
Need feedback about reception and data performance because AOKP doesn't have all the latest cm commits in the telephony stuff (I think).

I'm trying to build a couple of roms and the new telephony stuff from CM is what has broke them for the time being... so the new telephony stuff may not be in AOKP for a reason lol
Would this run on the d803?
I install this ROM all in all is good..
Just wondering if the fast charge is enabled by default or is something want to do before
Because the charging is too slow..

1st..Fast charging is not what it sounds like.
2nd Have you looked at the original charger? Its 1800mah.
Usual chargers until now were 1000mah. Some usb ports about 500.....so where do u charge? Orig. Charger is super fast for most people ive read about.

okay, try this for vs980:
http://d-h.st/LRp
This is untested as i do not have the device.
But this is the same AOKP as D802 only using vs980 props, kernel config and device trees from CM
