I am loking for a mod that would allow me to change the carrier name text. I know verizon Galaxy nexus users got one for this. Can some one please make it for the Gsm version.

Aokp ics rom has this feature. Nothing yet for Jelly Bean just yet though.

Hey guys. Brand new owner of a galaxy nexus and thought I'd share a discovery with you.
Simply change the lines in your build.prop file from
ro.build.characteristics=nosdcard
To
ro.build.characteristics=tablet
Then change your LCD density to anything below 180
And enjoy tablet mode

Is it possible to make the size of the navbar slightly larger? I'm having a ton of trouble hitting the "Home" key instead of the "Recents" key, and my fingers aren't even that large...

Some Help about posting kernel bug - last_kmsg
After you have a random reboot do this to get last_kmsg.txt file:
- via Terminal Emulator apk form play store : do this:
*open the app, type: ,,su'' ,hit enter , type(without all the spaces) : cat(space)/proc/last_kmsg(space)>(space)/sdcard/last_kmsg.txt and hit enter.Then go to your internal memory with any file explorer and you will finde the last_kmsg file and please post it on the main thread --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1883298

*if you want expanded desktop to work properly you need to go to nova settings/hold volume up,release/hold volume down,release and you will see a pop-up that will say that Labs are activated/then scroll to labs settings in nova settings and disable Stock Wallpaper Position.Enjoy full desktop mode

in about 20 seconds of searching I came up with this:

seems to me you should be able to download the mods, and figure it out yourself...if you need a tutorial on decompiling systemui.apk modding and recompiling, there are thousands out there.
