Air twist/double twist

Airdroid allows you to wirelessly connect to an android device through a Web browser and manage/upload to it.

The doubletwist solution is great but if you don't want to spend money non it then you can use win amp on the PC along with win amp on android to do the same thing.

Airdroid will do what you are describing.
If you are wanting to listen to your music just load it all to Google music.
Edit: get yourself off the apple teet.

awesome! done and bought! just the job!

Isyncr is my preferred app.

+1 to iSyncr, very easy to set up and get running and it's worked flawlessly for me so far. I hate that I have to go through iTunes at all but that's just how it went for me back in my pre-Android days, but iSyncr really worked very well. Well worth the 3 bucks.

How do you guys organize your music on the computer? is there a program ala iTunes where you can create playlists, organize band names, song titles, etc, and have all that translate over to the GN?
I use windows media player.

This. iTunes Match is pretty amazing too, 2 bucks a month. CHEAAAAP!
Do you have the Google music client installed on your computer? I can organize my cloud music fairly easily using the client.

I've just uploaded all of my music to Google Music and play via the browser, or I mix it up with Pandora. For local playback I use VLC.
Foobar2000, I love all the options it has. It takes a bit to set up, but it's totally worth it in my opinion.

This. It didn't take long for me to setup, what all did you do? I just ticked convert to four channels and I was happy. Also made a custom search function.

I hate iTunes but use it because it syncs with TuneSync (which syncs my galaxy nexus and my tablet installed in my car when i get home)
I used foobar for a while but missed recently added playlist, and it was very hard for me to get used too.
I don't think this thread should belong in a Nexus forum. But to answer the question, Foobar2000. Second is Clementine.
*Another for foobar

Yep! Same here. I have all of my songs on iTunes and all my music on iTunes is automatically updated to Google Music. Best of both worlds.
I use Windows Media Player at home to listen to my local library. Pandora when I want to listen to something new. And I use Google Music when I'm on the go.

Best Music Sync Application?

I've always been a doubleTwist user on Android but I was curious about other softwares that could transfer my music and playlists.
doubleTwist is fantastic application to transfer files but sadly the cable sync feature doesn't work on the SIII (or does it? Any suggestions)
AirSync with doubleTwist is fantastic as well, but my home WiFi connection is garbage so it takes too long to sync.
What are your favorite applications to sync music and playlists?
Google Music! Love it. I don't even use my ipod anymore
+1, Google Music all the way. I use easy ums app to transfer files or just stick my SD card in my Mac for faster transfer. I have used AirDroid before to transfer files and it worked very well and was fast even on my terrible wifi

MusicBee is BY FAR the best desktop music player I have encountered - both for use on the desktop and also for synching.
Much more intutitive and easy to use than MediaMonkey, etc., very full featured (has replaygain, fade, etc) and unlike a lot of other programs I have tried which tend to hang, crash of sync very slowly, it works easily every time.
Im surprised more people dont use it - it took me a while to discover this program and I think it rocks.

Best Music Player for N4?

Which one do you use?
Moved from Google Play to Player pro to Winamp and now I've settled on Poweramp. I've seen some of my friends with a player called "noozy" that is very reminiscent of the Zune library software and I would love to try it out but I can't seem to find it online at all.

Google play , since its compatible with syncing play count s with iTunes by using isyncr.
If it wasn't for that I would use noozy or ZPlayer.

I use the stock Google Play Music (via WiFi), I've only got 1 MP3 on my phone which I use as an alarm and don't use it over Mobile data, I also use TuneIn Radio Pro to listen to radio (obviously) and podcasts.

I have Noozy on my phone, it was included in some audio mod I downloaded ([MOD] [N4] BEATS+XLOUDER! 4.2.1 [07/12/12] JB Louder Audio Improvement Patch) for my device - not sure what version/build it is, it just says Noozy Studio 3
I used Noozy now and its great but I have a problem. It shows my notifications and ringtones. How can I hide them?

I'm looking for a music player that will let me make play list by genre from songs on my phone and my Wi-Drive and not the web. It seems all of the players are only for use with the web/cloud. Any recomendations?

No but I use Google Music to store my music. Then use Cloud music importer to import what I want onto my device, and use whatever music player to scan and play my selected stuff. I prefer Poweramp.
I actually use CloudAround. Since the Nexus 4's internal storage isn't all that big, I use several 50 GB Box accounts (that also come free with this phone) to upload all my music to. This allows me to have as much music as I'd like with my Nexus 4.
I used PowerAmp (with the Holo theme!) previously however. Its a fantastic music player if you don't want to use the cloud.

Play lots of music offline

Hi guys! I'm trying to turn my nexus 7 into a sweet music player/gps for my car. I have the gps figured out, but I'm still working on the music. I have a 32 gb flash drive and an otg cable. It is not rooted and I don't want to root it. I have tried the Nexus Media Importer, but the music player isn't that great. So my question is, does anybody know an app or a way that will play the music on my flash drive effectively? Or a way for google music or another player to recognize my drive so it could play the songs on it? Thanks!!
Id suggest uploading it all to Google music then making the songs you like the most offline.

Yeah, I have NMI, just the music player isn't really that intuitive, and hard to work. I'm trying to find an alternative to it, but if not, I'll end up using NMI. Basically I want to use my otg and USB with a music player already out there.
