Dark Meadow - Does anyone have a save file I can borrow? - Nexus 7 Themes and Apps

Does anyone happen to have a save file that they can upload? I was on level 10 and then had to restore my device to stock/unroot/relock to return it. I did back the files and system data up using Titanium Backup but, when I restored my apps on my new N7, the save data wasn't there as I had thought it would be. Now I'm really dreading having to catch up to where I was. If you've played the game, you know how frustrating (but extremely entertaining at the same time) it can be to level up and move along in the story. Ten levels is a ton (or seemed to be a ton) in the game. So if anyone is around that point in the game and can upload a save file here, I'd really appreciate it. I don't know where else I could have posted this, so if the devs would like to move it somewhere, I wouldn't mind.

I had the game, I was over lvl 10, Already going for the boss, then a huge enemy kille dme in 3 hits, u bought new health kits and the app crashed so I had to start from the elevator again which is very hard, I don't know if you got to that part and I got so frustratec that i uninstalled the app.
Seems like you have to buy a whole bunch of items to have a decent game play or you will be doing more diying than anything else after you defeat the "white witch"

Apparently there's some cheats that give you a ton of money, so there are options out there. Personally, seeing as the game was free, I'm not going to complain about IAPs. I still find them annoying and would rather pay a set price for the game, but as long as it's free I'm not complaining. But I was just about the face the white witch with enough experience to possibly beat her. And now I might have to start over again. It sucks.

That is true, but the way I see it, you can pay about 7 bucks for a premium membership which gives your a bunch of coins, money, and other stuff that as you go further in the game you will notice you will need.
The game is designed to incited you to spend money on it, I spent like 2 bucks to buy medic kits but the game was just bugging too much in the pause menu and store menu and the further you go the harder the enemies to the point where it is almost impossible for not saying impossible to go from one level to the boss without using a bunch of bombs, or medic kits or very expensive accessories.
The game is good, the story line and graphs but I personally might not play it again unless I can get video out and use a controller which I doubt will even happend.

Miss/Want Words With Friends? Try WordFeud!

I just saw this game on another site and decided to give it a try since it's free. I've been want Words With Friends or a decent clone for awhile. Wordwise Pro just doesn't fit the bill. So far WordFeud is great given it's really new.
http://wordfeud.com/
PS: I'm not getting paid to promote this. It's just really fun and I'd though I'd share.
Add me if you want to play. My ID is Snapshotx
the servers for it have been down all day; seems like they're experiencing a mass exodus of users from Wordwise Pro. LOL once they get it fixed, this will be THE app for Android.
ahh, I was wondering why it wasn't working today. It was pretty fantastic yesterday.
Needs a little bit of work though. There doesn't seem to be a way to clear finished games from your list. Also some sounds would cool.
seams to be back up now, all my games that didn't show are also back up

Amazon Appstore! Free Paid App Daily!! 11/2/11 (Drift Mania Championship)

I am addicted to the Amazon Appstore due to daily paid apps become free for 24 hours.
Link to Amazon Appstore just in-case I don't update it daily sometimes:
http://www.amazon.com/mobile-apps/b/ref=topnav_storetab_mas?ie=UTF8&node=2350149011
.
NEW!!!! I added a good APK of Amazon App Store (NOT CREATED BY ME, And is a Free app.)
.
Today November 2, 2011 Free app of the day:
Drift Mania Championship
LINK:http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004VMKFMG?ie=UTF8&ref=mas_faad
If you've ever experienced that moment when your tires lose their grip and you begin to spin out, you know just how terrifying that can be. In Drift Mania Championship, that's actually the object of the game. Your head and your tires will both be spinning when you take on this exciting game for Android.
Drift Away:
The key to Drift Mania Championship is a combination of pushing the limits while maintaining control. Drifting is the act of maneuvering a vehicle around corners at speeds and angles that exceed the vehicle's grip--a kind of controlled slide. But go too fast and your slide becomes Wipeout City.
Stay on Track
Five twisting and turning tracks included
Drive one of seven different stylin' cars and select from five challenging tracks. Start out in Practice mode until you get the hang of it, then switch to Drift mode for the serious action.
Points are awarded based on four main criteria: Line, Angle, Speed, and Impact. Line involves drifting within pre-designated zones. The line is marked by several clipping zones, where the closer you get, the more points you score. With Angle, the goal is to get your car as sideways as possible without crashing.
Of course, you will always have a need for Speed. Try to drift as fast as possible, but be careful--hit a wall or fly off the track and you'll lose your current combo score. If you complete the race within a set amount of time, the game awards extra points. You'll also get bonuses based on your overall Impact: entertaining the crowd and delivering an exciting performance. Make the fans cheer and treat them to the sweet smell of burning rubber.
Race in 3D:
Drift Mania Championship features stunning 3D graphics for a realistic racing experience. The app takes advantage of the multi-touch capabilities of your Android device, which means you'll have to rack up the miles while getting a feel for the controls and interface. You can adjust your steering sensitivity, use three different camera configurations, and even replay your best combos.
Challenge friends to match your performance by submitting your best scores to the global leaderboards for each track. The top 100 positions are displayed on the official Drift Mania website.
Note: This game is not compatible with Samsung devices using Android 2.1. Upgrade to 2.2 or try the Lite version of the app.

I know and i figured that was a GREAT grab!!
zzelinka - I tend to forget sometimes too. but this app is useful, and with the memory of the Epic 4G touch, you will barely notice the space it takes up.
Polaris seems really good although I haven't really used it much yet. Is this even worth grabbing?

You can purchase the apps for free but choose not to install them. You will still have the option of installing them later but will still get them free. There's not much reason to use titanium backup for this purpose, your Amazon account remembers that you own the app(s) and you can install/reinstall them at will.

Pig Blaster somewhat reminds me of Zuma. i wasnt too fond of the game, so im gonna pass on this one.
I got the amazon appstore the day it came out. And have EVERY SINGLE free app of the day, so 150+ apps for free (that are originally paid for). Most apps are alright, but i love it when they have some really good apps for free, those come in handy. I dont like that they have games as app of the day 95% of the time. Overall, its an app to have, i have it on my home screen so i never forget to take 10 seconds and grab the free app of the day. (No, i dont have all the apps of the day installed, as posted above, once you get the app once, u can login to ur amazon account on the appstore FROM ANY PHONE and install w.e. app u like).

No Tutorial; just some easy beginner Quests.
Only thing that really frosts me about Order and Chaos is that they dropped the subscription charge for IOS users - but not Android.
Android users are paying for the IOS Servers with our subscriptions.
Only $.99 a month (after November), but shees...

I don't think that is correct about ios. I bought it a while back for ios and it says install on iTunes but it says it's only for 3 months.

From what I can gather, it's definitely a great value at 99 cents but the end game is largely cash driven.
So play for fun, but don't take it seriously (grinding) unless you're well aware of the financial commitment that those hours will lead to.

I bought this back during the winter .99cent sale. Great game. I have one character at level ~40 and another at like ~20.
It never played on my Transformer right without hacks and tweaks and I got tired of playing on my Galaxy Nexus. My subscription is expired probably and I probably won't renew. Was a fun run though. I played through a few dungeons with some high level guys healing me constantly. Had my fill for .99
I did buy a 6month subscription. I may have time left. Maybe ill try and pick it back up.

Hey man I registered xda just to say I got owned by this, just bought it 3 days ago. With my 25 dollas from Google. I call this game WoW 2 and its worthy of that, my wife leans over and says "you spent 200 bucks to play wow in bed"..."yep".
My user is Krazypickle...add me if you want a buddy.
Im gonna give a short review just because.
Controls I give a 7 and that is partially my tablet touch newbness, they seems to lag a bit or stop working altogether half the time, im also getting some choppyness...not sure if its network or graphic. This game may not be totally optimized from what I can tell. Im gonna connect my ps3 controller....might help?
Graphics = to WoW (slightly off, but pretty much and I feel this is a compliment)
New features is sweet, I feel the rogue is unique....timed stealth, stealth during combat, bonus while stealth, multiple proc possibilities, enertaining for sure. Cant wait to try other classes.
Its super weak, you buy the game then pay a subscription I think? Annnnnnnnd they make it possible to buy gold.....pretty weak in my opinion. Im gonna play without buying gold...makes it more fun anyhow. Just like Rage of Bahaumut, havent spent a dime....getting my ass kicked lol.
Im waiting for my nexus to charge lol

is anyone familiar with this game, i change roms and now when i try to load the game it loads to the checking license screen then a message appears then asks me to force close it cause it was wasnt responding, anyone know what i can do ? i have purchased the game from the market but its not letting me play an i even tried to contact gameloft but those guys wont help me, all advice is greatly appreciated, theres gota be a work around
You don't have to buy Gold. Gold is just regular in game currency for 1000 silver. I really liked Order and Chaos and went ahead and bought a 6mo subscription (expired now). I grew tired of making it work on my old tablet and gave up on it. My level 40 is a female warrior and I have a lvl20 male archer or whatever. I really like the Archer more. Seems most of the enemies are dead by the time they even walk over to me.
I would focus on your skills. My warrior is a blacksmith and does weapons and armor. It is kind of confusing how you level that up. But how it works is through a weird kind of experience. The more you use your skill the more "skill credits" you have. Then you find your skill master in the big main city. There you can spend your "skill credits" on purchasing various crafts, but don't waste your credits. Instead focus on buying upgraded Master Books (Master II, Master III, Master IV).
Focusing on increasing your skill sets also will pay you very well when you go to sell this stuff. I typically sell the higher grade stuff in the online market for 1-2 gold a piece. You also want to sell stuff like large groups of wool and other stuff that is required for other types of skills because collecting can be a pain. Some people just opt to spend 1-2 gold on a bundle of raw material. Plus you get nothing for selling it at a shop.
There are two people in our household who are at endgame, and neither has had to spend a dime in real world money to advance their character. You *can*, but you don't have to. For example, a lot of people, when they hit 60, spend fifteen bucks on 'rune gear'. It gives them a full set of gear they can effectively run legendaries in. You can get the same gear from lvl60 dungeon runs and from world bosses, though. My son (JackChurchil @ Swamp of Wyrms) is actually buying his rune set for his archer tomorrow.
I've got a lvl42 healer monk hybrid ( Daede @ Swamp of Wyrms ) that already has a full set of world-drop gear sitting in storage waiting for me to hit the levels where I can wear them, including a really nice lvl51 healer tunic, that is actually better than the rune-gear healer robe.. It's all stuff Orion (JackChurchil) picked up on his way to 60 or while doing dailies at 60...
My brother, Ben, has a 60 Warrior tank ( WoopAss @ Swamp of Wyrms ), and has no real intention of buying rune gear. He's got a rare tanking sword, a real nice rare shield, and a decent set of collected-it-along-the-way tank gear, all with no real money investment other than the game itself.
Legendary runs use a system called 'exhaust', and while you can use runes (real money) to replenish your exhaust, it also replenishes automatically on a daily basis. A typical legendary run costs between 9 and 17 exhaust, and you have 100 to spend per day, so unless you literally sit n the game and no-life it *all day*, you most likely won't see a reason to consistently spend money.
You can spend money to craft, but on the server we play on (being very low population) you really don't need to. The bosses that drop the crafting mats you can buy with runes aren't actively farmed, so there's a good chance you can get what you need.
Just my two-cents. If anybody is interested in playing with us, we are:
Guild: All.6's.and7's
Server: Swamp of Wyrms
Officers:
Me (Jay): Daede (monk) / Machine (warrior) / Daena (ranger) / Isis (mage)
Orion: JackChurchil (ranger) / Roku (monk) / Øríon (warrior) / FireLordOzai (mage)
Ben: WoopAss (warrior) / CottonPicka (mage) / NecroHealer (monk) / BudSmoker (ranger)
When adding people to friends, teams, or sending whispers, capitalization does matter.
Feel free to hit us up in-game, anytime

Your 2 cents on Piracy

Recently I saw that apps are now discriminating against root users(not allowing download/play). Do you think if apps would universally start doing this, would it cut down piracy or just push more root users to download illegally?
I for one believe it will have the latter effect, what do you guys think of this?

I think if ppl would just stop acting so self-entitled, and stopped stealing ****, this would not even be an issue... Unfortunately - the world is full of idiots.. Only takes a few to ruin a good thing for all of us.

So what are some example apps that are denying access if your phone is determined to be rooted? I've never run into one, and I can't imagine any popular app would resort to something so easily worked around.
(the workaround: temporarily move/rename the 'su' binary out of the PATH to "hide" it, since that's the method almost all apps would use to detect if you're rooted.)
To install a pirated app is allow unknown sources...anyone can do it, idk why they are discriminating....

I could care less about that kind of stuff if companies want to do that then they don't deserve my business or anybody else's business for that matter. Then just watch how fast the companies change their ways when nobody is buying their products

All it takes is a $ or 2 for an you love... so what's the big deal when you are paying like $100 something each month to the cell phone service provider.

Think about what you just said.
"...stealing is justified because the person who wants to steal feels that they are unwilling to pay the cost for the item...there are many points of view..."
Yeah...and the entitlement mindset "you have something that I feel that I'm entitled to and I don't care if I do something that's wrong...all that matters is that I get it...."...that's a point of view.
I've never understood people who use this rationale....stealing is stealing no matter how you justify it to make yourself feel better while you are doing it.

What's the threshold for stealing? If it were only $50 then it wouldn't be ok? $25? If you can't afford a new car you couldn't just go steal one and have it be ok. And everyone knows "You wouldn't download a car."
If I don't want to pay what it's offered for then I just do without. People should look into dropping their entitlement complex.
On another note, I don't buy into the whole "It's not available in my locale" argument. Maybe I just don't fully understand it being in the US. I've seen many ways to fool your phone/the market to seeing a new locale (for free), and most apps I've ever bought have a direct buy version anyway.
Doesn't say anywhere that you have to pay for the apps. Me downloading an apk isn't theft. The original copy is still left intact. Pirates raid ships and steal. They don't make copies.

If the app isn't offered for free by the developer and you obtain a copy without paying then you're stealing. If you want a warm fuzzy because you're stealing something that can be copied then go ahead and tell yourself that. You are still taking money out of the dev's pocket through theft.

This argument only stands if you intended to buy the app in the first place and if there weren't so many cases in which piracy increased sales rather than decreased them.
Of course, the opposite is true as well. There are a number of games out there where it was simply more prudent to pirate the game if you wanted to, you know, play it whenever you wanted (Cough, Ubisoft games, cough).
I understand that some people are morally outraged by piracy... but much like so many other things in life, not everyone is. I used to pirate like nobodies business.. but now that I make more money, I typically only pirate the game if I am unsure about it and it doesn't have a demo. If I like it, I go buy it. If not, I get rid of it. I also typically pirate games that have an obscenely restrictive DRM embedded... not because I want to play it but just because screw those guys for putting it in there. DRM increases piracy, not hinders it.
However, copyright infringement is not theft. It is not stealing. Nothing is removed from anywhere. No money is removed from the dev's pockets because it was never there in the first place. If the item couldn't be pirated, that person wouldn't magically have more money because a whole lot of the people that pirate do it because they can't afford it in the first place.
Not to mention, there are companies who don't consider piracy a bad thing: http://www.gamespot.com/news/angry-birds-dev-says-piracy-may-not-be-a-bad-thing-6349485
Not to mention all of these industries who are trying to fight piracy so hard are doing it in the utterly wrong way. People pirate movies? Ok, rather than make movies easy to obtain online and permanently owned just like a dvd copy... they make it abnormally difficult, with higher prices and restrictive licensing and DRM. They make movie ticket prices skyrocket. In short, they make it annoying as all hell to acquire a legitimate digital copy. On the flipside, you can go to google, type in the name of a movie (Say... I dunno, The Avengers), pull up a torrent site, hit download and bam, you now have a digital copy without drm you own.
Music is much the same way, though it is improving. It isn't a whole lot better but I have forsaken pirating music and simply listen to Pandora or Spotify.
TV shows are in the same bracket as movies. It would be so simply to, the night of or the day after showing a new episode, put it up for sale for a dollar or two for people to buy and own. Make it quick, cheap and simple and people will FLOCK to it. But they don't. So everyone just goes and watches Hulu or pirates it.
Games are a more unique sector. They have numerous methods of easily obtaining the games but these methods are getting more restrictive, with licensing and "If you piss us off, you lose everything you bought from us" rules. Origin does this, Steam... yeah, not a very good thing. Why spend all that time worrying about that if you only play single player? Just go pirate it, then nobody can take it from you, right? So we have easy methods of quickly obtaining games, but they keep adding on to their list of rules and restrictions. Steam is the best of the bunch and even they will remove all access to the hundreds to thousands of dollars of games you spent if you break a rule. Even they don't allow anything but arbitration suits. You know the times that most games make the largest amount of sales and profit on Steam? During the Summer Sale and Winter Sale. Dev's love those sales because sales skyrocket to the moon and beyond. Their profit skyrockets for a few weeks. These sales make it obvious what the problem is for a lot of people... money. Is it worth the money? Yeah... less games are these days than ever. Yay, $64.94 after tax for a new game... with 4 hours of gameplay! Awesome, I totally feel that was worth my money! I am definitely going to go buy Gears of War 2 now for another 4 hours of fun!
Is piracy wrong? According to society, yes. Is it even remotely as harmful as the corporations play it out to be? Not hardly.
Forbes:
"This is a negotiation where at any time, your customer could just go download the damn movie for free, and they’re doing you a favor by even considering picking it up legally. And you have the nerve to think it’s on YOUR terms? That’s not how negotiation works. It may not be right, but it’s reality, and they have to face it.
Yet movie companies threaten to put Netflix out of business by charging them huge amounts of money to have access to their content. Netflix is in the forefront of the war on piracy, and the studios don’t even seem to understand it. It’s incredible."

Yes. Yes I would. If I could, I most certainly would.
Everything in the world should be open source. Open source coding languages are being used to code these apps. For the most part. So why is it right for someone to charge money for something they built using free software? If I were a dev, I'd open up all my code to the community so we can all improve upon it.

I used to pirate apps...when i was a dumb teenager with little money. Now, i buy ALL my apps, how hard is it to pay 0.99$ for most apps, or even 5$ for the most premium, you not only get regular updates and you also say thank you to the guy that spent time and money to bring you something cool. If people were not so lazy or had higher goals in life than working for a fast food or grocery store, maybe they'd didn't care to pay that little price. The only thing i still pirate is movies, and it's strictly for convenience because here in Canada, our Netflix sucks pretty bad, our video store rent movies for 1/4 of the price of buying it new, and i live a good 30 minutes away from the closest video store. So i have no choice to download if i want to see a movie. But i regularly go to the theaters.

You just said pirating is for dumb, broke teenagers. Yet, you pirate movies. You can't have your cake and eat it too. Whether you pirate a 99 cent app, or a $40 bluray, you're still a pirate.

I play this game too, and while I'm no cheater after seeing what they want from you, I understand the request. I.e. when you first start playing you are given a choice of cars to choose from for free to start your campaign, I chose the scion tC, I lost my scion to a scammer who said he was giving his cars away and deleting the game. In the showroom the car cost 32,000 in game cash to purchase, when you loose a car they give you 24 hours to restore the car you lost. You are not given the option to restore it with in game cash, instead you must use the other currency which is gems, (these are ridiculously hard to come by) they wanted 1500+ gems to restore my car, in order for me to obtain that many I would have to save them for months, or pay real money for them, the real cash I would have had to spend to restore my car was over 20 buck real cash. So I can see why someone would want to have a hack available just to circumvent the absolutely ludicrous real cost of in game currencies. I know that monetization for mobile games has gone the way of in game purchases, however being from the old school of gaming I would gladly pay 20 bucks for a game with a single in game currency that can be earned for anything the game has to offer, rather then give you who knows how much for intangible goods. Hell I would be more likely to give them 50 bucks for the game, then give them one red cent for an in game purchase, and along the lines of why even play if your going to cheat. You mean to tell me that you never used a game shark or a majix mod on any of your platforms for the purpose of getting ahead in a game? The only thing that seems bad about this request is that if you hack their game you are cutting into their money because you didn't purchase the game like you would a traditional game. However I never saw a traditional game have some completely ludicrous price tag, and even the few that were priced way higher than most others based on the expectancy and sheet number of people trying to get it on release day, it was never a recurring cost unless you broke the game or it was stolen from you. As a junior developer I understand the ridiculous amount of time it can take to create a game, but raping you customers to be able to continue to play isn't right either. If they were a little more realistic with their pricing we wouldn't have so many people looking for a hack.

Cheating in games could be very fun because with racing rivals cheat you can generate as many resources as you want right? Also you can use racing rivals mod which is quite better than hacks and cheats
