Confusion with the JB animations mod. - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

I was looking at the JB animation mod in the international forum and the old combined themes/apps section for the American models. I'm still confused by it.
Thread here
The attached downloads contain vrtheme folder for the VilliamRom Theme system found here.
Are the animation files in the vrtheme folder? or are they in the included framwork-res.apk?
Maybe a generous developer will be kind enough to inform the rest of us with step by step instructions on how to add it? xD

[MOD][DIY] 4-way reboot menu

Hello everyone.
I figured I'd share this little gem with the community. I hope I am not offending eny devs out there. Most custom ROM's have this option built in, but if someone is using a stock ROM, they are out of luck.
So, first of all, I am not a developer or a programmer, but through the use of XDA forums I was able to acquire some knowledge, enough to get me in trouble, for sure )).
This is based on original work by Clark44 found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1769661
The 4-way reboot menu is implemented in a file called android.policy.jar located in system/framework/. Certain custom ROM's have other things implemented inside this file, so I have 2 options for the 4-way reboot menu:
1. modified stock NF9 android.policy.jar in a flashable ZIP
2. smali files that can be inserted into any custom android.policy.jar in order to keep whatever else that's there; these files should be placed in com\android\internal\policy\impl
I will not be providing any explanations in this post regarding SMALI/BAKSMALI. There are plenty of tutorials out there for that. If you know what SMALI is, then you know how use the files in option 2.
Feel free to ask any questions.
I flashed the zip file but no 4 way reboot menu, any ideas why, T-Mobile note 3 5.0 lollipop
These are for KitKat ROMs only. I'm sure there's an update for LolliPop, but I haven't had the time to sort that out yet.

I am happy to hear of people wanting to learn hints for themselves so I am happy to pass on the knowledge.
First you must be aware of what kind of bootanimation style we have for stock Samsung, which is qmg style.
Now the thing with qmg is that the images inside the file aren't easily viewable or editable.
So the first thing I do is convert my system to read both zip and qmg files. I have created a mod that will look for a zip and use that and if the zip isn't there the system will revert to using a qmg style bootanimation.
There are tutorials for making qmg style Animations around, but personally I find that method a little more difficult as well as it limits the amount of frames you can use.
So personally I always make zip style Animations
There are probably some guides around for making zip styles as well, but I put together a quick and easy guide here
Once you finish making you zip style animation, you will need to use my mod to allow your system for zip bootanimations.
Here is the link, just be aware that there is a version for Lollipop and MM. Select appropriate version for you
Good luck
Thank you verry much for the howto . I wil go mess around with it??
