I don't have a One X, but the Rezound should have pretty similar procedures.
Did you flash the kernel for the ROM?
I believe the One x has a removable battery, so try a battery pull and power on from there.

Yes it says relocked, however i cant flash a ruu with low battery and i cant find a way to charge as i am stuck in fastboot mode

quickly unlock your bootloader again and flash clockworkmod found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1594819
I just uploaded fastboot in case you don't have

You should be able to charge if you power off completely.

Everytime i go to power off, it will turn on by itself to the fastboot screen/

Quickly flash clockworkmod recovery, so you will have the ability to charge

well i rooted and put the android revolution rom on, but noticed some problems so i tried it again using another guide which seemed to work, i then decided to unroot and go back to full stock,(lol i know) because i noticed my actualy sd card memory had gone really low so thats why i wanted to just get rid of rooting and the custom rom really ( lool i probably dont make any sense)
I have tryed the same, i cant go back to locked, it will start up like he said.
I rooted and delete the files like the guide said, stock kernel and then bam, only for development? Now i just go with unlocked.
noooo :s what im trying to say is, i cant reboot the phone,it goes into boot loader everytime, just before bootloader the htc splashscreen shows up and a message in red writing stating something like "this build is for development purposes only.." and then goes into bootloader, is it something to do with low battery?
Update: now my phone doesnt even turn on i think its all over

this happens when you have a custom rom/kernel/recovery installed. Go to fastboot mode and unlock your bootloader again with fastboot oem unlock_token **** < - your unlock code.

Hold power button and volume down. Only let go of volume down after it has rebooted to hboot. From there switch the phone off and plug mains charger in.
Does the amber light come on? If it doesn't after 10 minutes, try plugging it into a USB port.

Hmm, if it doesn't charge in fastboot, you'll need to use the script that keeps rebooting your phone.
What recovery do you have? It should charge in recovery.

Use the script.
But I don't understand what you are trying to do with the unlock token. You can't get it from the device, you get it from HTC on the htcdev website, then send it to the phone.

[Q] Auto enter to bootloader when charging (Device Off)

Hello to all,
I have searched this forum for a problem identical to mine but without success. When I put my HTC One X charging the battery (device off) he enters alone (automatically) in bootloader mode.
I think it was not so ... My HOX is completely original, the only difference is that it is rooted.
Some device info:
HBOOT: 1.39.0000
RADIO: 5.1204.162.29
Software Number: 3.14.401.31
CID: HTC_001
It is normal?
Are you charging from a PC ? If not plug in the charger and check if its counting as USB.

The HOX boots without problem. The anomaly is when I try to charge the device while it is off. The HOX automatically connects in bootloader mode (USB when connected to a PC) instead of, only, charge the battery.
i heard this issue before, and it was about the recovery, which one do you have installed?

the recovery gives that error because your bootloader is locked, if you want to use custom recoveries you have to unlock it... that's also why your phone gets up while is off... unlock the bootloader, flash a custom recovery and all should be ok...
Lol... I never installed a recovery on my HOX

It seems I have this problem too. Mine was samsung j1 mini prime and automatically enters bootloader whenever I charging in offline mode. Im not planning on flashing custom recovery since my phone is still under warranty. Any other solution guys?

In desperate need of help please !!!!

Just brought a HTC one M9 off eBay, its in excellent cosmetic condition, i'll get the basics out of the way quickly, it is already S-OFF, super CID, 401 WWE edition firmware, but the bootloader is locked, now I am very used to HTC one M7s and M8, but this download mode rubbish is all new to me, the problem is, when I power on the phone, instead of it booting normally, it just loops into the bootloader, ive uploaded some picts for you too see.
now when I enter download mode, there is no fastboot in the available options on the phone, so I cant issue any fastboot commands, like to unlock the bootloader, do I have any other options ? I also have access to the basic recovery mode, the HTC one, not TWRP or anything like that.
Also, does anyone know where I can find the 4.xx.401.x RUU for these phones, its not on the HTC website ?
Please help, or is this a lost phone and should I just send it back ?

For fastboot, treat download mode as fastboot. If you're having trouble with using download mode to flash something or boot something, use bootloader mode. For more details about RUUS, unlocking the bootloader, and using S-OFF to your advantage, take a look at the read me thread stickied at the top of the General thread.
(Note: You may or may not find RUUS for your phone, as they got leaked somehow.)

Try doing the same in bootloader mode, and check your drivers and executables.
The easiest way to get drivers is to install HTC Sync Manager and then immediately uninstall it.

Also, looking at the CID, the seller probably tried to flash stock firmware and locked the bootloader. You'll need to clean up after him.

also, yes thats what im thinking too, they s-off'd the phone and super CID'd the phone, then locked the bloody bootloader, on a plus note, I just got a result in bootloader mode using fastboot devices command, gave me the serial number, but when using the fastboot oem get_identifier_token command it just gave me FAILED: (remote: unknown command), going to try in download mode now instead.
UPDATE: just tried in download mode too, now that also gave me a result when I typed fastboot devices, gave me my serial number, but when trying to get the token ID I got:
C:\adb>fastboot oem get_identifier_token
...
(bootloader) [KillSwitch] : /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/frp
(bootloader) [KillSwitch] Last Byte is 0X00, disable unlock
(bootloader) [KillSwitch] oem unlock Turn Off!
OKAY [ 0.065s]
finished. total time: 0.065s

Oh well, wont even boot into download mode anymore, tried to flash the developer edition RUU, but says the battery is below 30%, so when I power down the phone to charge it, as soon as I plug the charger in, its booting itself back to the bootloader, not sure if its actually charging whilst its in this more, but id say the phone is pretty much fubar.

Just a stab in the dark but did you go into developer options and check oem unlocking?
As mentioned before, I can only suggest you to read the ReadMe thread. Of course, you can't flash a dev edition RUU in the current state. You're using the wrong MID.

I only got the phone yesterday, and never been able yet to boot to a working rom yet, so couldnt check it, sent the phone back to her now for a full refund, sod it, cant be bothered with it, brought another working one instead, will s-off it, unlock it etc the proper way when I get it tomorrow.

I couldnt even get into download mode any longer after I reset the phone and tried to reboot back to download mode, I got as far as the black screen with the silver HTC logo and then it would just boot back to the bootloader, couldnt even charge the phone, everytime I powered off and plugged in the charger it would switch itself on, and the same for recovery, so just gave up and sent it back to her.

HTC 10 brick and can't install RUU , Please Help!!

Hello Ladies and gentlemen, please I need help here.... My HTC 10 is brick and I'm trying to unbrick it but can't for these reasons:-
1-locked bootloader, S-ON
2-stock recovery is not there... Can't open it
3-downloading mode is not working too, doesn't open
4-bootloader opens fine , I tried using fast boot to flash the stock RUU but it's saying "can't while S-ON)
5- tried the official RUU exe , not working because it keeps on saying (battery less than 30%) , now plz don't tell me to charge it cause İTS CHARGED!! But the problem is that there is a bug where fast boot can't read the battery ... Getvar command will give you (nothing) (empty)... That's why RUU still says "battery less than 30%"
I tried EVERY thread on the internet , nothing works unfortunately!
Please people help :crying:
I don’t know this battery problem. But try resetting or recalibrating battery .
1) Connect the phone to wall charger for 10 mins.
2) with the switch turned off and phone power off
Press and hold volume up and down button ( both volume button ) and power button for 2 min and leave all the button .
3) charge it full / or for long period , probably 3-4 hrs
4) try flashing ruu now.

Once unlocked your bootloader please NEVER relock it....it has no purpose. All you do is lock yourself out of your device once in trouble. Worst advice ever.

Many people don't know that relocking the BL doesnt do any good. If your device is not completely stock and you relock the BL you are screwed!!!
You can flash ruu files with an unlocked BL, you can update officially with an unlocked BL, it has no value what so ever to relock it. Believe me, I know this stuff !

And why so many unnecessary steps, no need to flash a stock recovery before a ruu, the ruu does it for you.

1: shame it's locked.
2: stock recovery is probably there but you need a button combo to enter it, you probably see some kind of exclamation sign ?
3: you say it doesn't open....means what ? Does the device start bootlooping, does it reboot to the bootloader ?
4: did you try to flash a ruu.zip in "ruu mode" ? (google for the exact fastboot command to enter ruu mode)
5: nothing to say about that.
