Is there an easy to follow guide on how to compile your own ROM? I just want a stock 4.1 experience for now. I saw a write up somewhere else for the Galaxy Nexus on Verizon but I didn't want to assume they were interchangeable.

No Ubuntu is the preferred OS. be sure to notate my edited post above about the branch that you will initialize. I'm sure someone knows the latest and can help out.

The branch is android-4.1.1_r1 so you would run
Code:
repo init -u https://android.googlesource.com/platform/manifest -b android-4.1.1_r3
You can find all the branches here

BTW. I am working on getting an AOSP Build going now. It may be late this evening before I post it, but someone may beat me to it.

well couldn't I just use the 4.1.1 files that razor has listed, and go back to stock with that?
I'm guessing after they activate my SIM card so I get data/voice I could unlock boot loader and root then update to 4.2.2 jelly belly.Has anyone ran into this problem before when activating their SIM card?
