They're actually from cm10 but any gapps from jb should work as long as they contain Google now
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using Tapatalk 2

4G works... but I have the same issue as with almost all jb ROMs so far... when I turn on USB tether, data disconnects... I thought it was kernel related... but I'm not sure now as I've tried other kernels and the problem persists... hopefully someone can fix this issue soon!! Thanks again for the port...

MMS doesn't work even when using 3rd party app like GoSms?

Bug still exists when turning on WiFi - constantly turns on and off just like the leak posted from last month.
Otherwise, seemed like a nice ROM.
Hey Newt, howz the battery life on this? I probably won't be able to flash this for a week or so, that's why I'm asking & not just flashing. I ran the leak for a while & that was my only concern. The wifi /data bug wasn't that big of an issue for me....annoying, but no deal breaker.

That's not a bug its a feature you have to turn it off in WiFi settings
check never auto turn on WiFi
Sent from my ADR6350 using xda app-developers app
In the leak it would randomly toggle data on & off continuously.
Sent from my Incredible 2 using xda app-developers app
Something else I noticed is that the miktweaks is cut off at the bottom like on articicsed, not sure if that can be resized or not to fit
Sent from my vivow using Tapatalk 2
Unfortunately I have to confirm, this ROM suffers from the same wifi/mobile data problem as the leak. :screwy: Its unfortunate, because other than that, this would be a perfect ROM for my wife's phone.
Great work on the mods and tweaks!
Can't wait for someone to get the data thing fixed.

Nice will give it a try sir

I'll give it a shot too. The more the merrier! Thanks :good:
EDIT: Gave it a flash and overall pretty solid. Same tabletUI "eye sores" as AOKP (nav buttons spaced too far apart and notification icons aren't aligned with clock if the Nav bar height is lowered in tabletUI).
If youre a fan of AOKP I would recommend giving it a flash for comparison. I don't delve too deep into the customizations but for those that do, its worth a test drive.

Re: [ROM][JB4.2.2] Elemental X - Manta - v1.0 - 3/26/13
I'm going to agree, really nice ROM
Biggest +1 is the fact that trebuchet is used as the launcher complete with settings, slickest launcher out there IMO!
Good speed too!
Any chance you could have a look at sorting the dock icon spacing, or is an issue that needs to be sorted by cm so the changes can be merged?
Its a bug in trebuchet for manta that's been present for a while
Keep up the great work, I like the eclipse mode!

Re: [ROM][JB4.2.2] Elemental X - Manta - v1.0 - 3/26/13
Some bugs I've detected.
When you create a second user, isn't possible to enter to settings with this second acount, an error appears.
The option of hidding the navbar in toggles doesn't works properly, is possible to hide but when you want to show it again doesn't work.
The ROM doesn't include the habitual languages. Mine is missing (catalan).
This ROM rocks. Great work.

Yeah, the only settings I use is reducing the number of home screens to 3, and tweaking some of the animations, don't really have a need for anything else and I like how it looks exactly like stock
Tried nova, but hated how the search bar was in the top left corner like on ics tablets instead of a grey box in the centre
Apex was better but the drawer icon was really low res, and on the N10 at least, tapping the black space around the drawer didn't switch to the next page (something I use alot on a large tablet)
So yeah, trebuchet is great for my needs

The new ADW is pretty nice on tablets. On my Gnex i mostly use Apex. I might try Action Launcher Pro soon as i have been hearing great things on what they have done with folders and the whole idea with this launcher is unique.

I remembered I had bought Adw ex back in the gingerbread days, so installed it and man its awful!
Really choppy scrolling on the N10 and again super low res drawer icon, so its a no from me I'm afraid
Haha, hence why I'm here I guess, trebuchet ftw

I must be blind because I can't find TabletUI options. The tablet screenshot in the op shows TabletUI so naturally I assumed this ROM supports it and was the whole reason why I tried it out. Lol
Other than that nice ROM, I like the optimizations and it tweaks really nice.

Probably because Papi over at DroidHive is porting ROMs from Maguro to Toroplus and he's giving the Devs the toroplus build for them to work with. Not to be advertisy but you should really look at droid-hive.com, they're taking in ROM port requests in the Galaxy Nexus forums.

Wondering if this has the Slim "real dark" toggle included? Really love that ability to turn the ROM inverted like that
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA Premium HD app
It's there!
Running this guy right now. All set up and very smooth with the latest lean which is an improvement over previous versions.
Everybody should give this one a spin. Very pleased especially with performance.

No disrespect to papi, he does a lot over at DH, but this really doesn't have anything to do with him. I saw the ROM in the maguro section, noticed that Beanstalk source was on github and wanted to try it. So I compiled it for my device (toro). I know the toroplus users don't get much love sometimes and it only takes a little longer to build for you guys so I figured why not Enjoy!

Everything is working good now. Using ak kernel. Nice options and performance has not started lagging. Op think you can make a beanstalk wallpaper in white and black? It would be nice with the dark setup

I wasn't really saying your ROM was because of Papi I meant the other because they said "I am loving the love toroplus has been getting(Something like that, too lazy to check)", sorry if you misunderstood and thanks for thinking about us Toroplus users

Nice guys & congratulations on the milestone! Thank you for all your hard work too, You make our phones fun to use!
This will be my first go at an AOSP ROM, on this device. Very excited.
Can anyone who has sprint as their carrier please verify if you have the ability to send mms. I still get the no apn specified error on Gummy. Everything else works great, but no go for mms. As I stated before, this issue existed on other aosp roms, but has since been fixed.

It's running very very well. In my opinion this is the smoothest & most stable AOSP build on this device. Battery life with baked in kernel is great as well. I highly recommend giving it a try & if for some reason you don't like it you can always go back to your current setup, but I doubt that will happen.
Anyone getting Screen freeze when you take pictures? I have tried the New google camera and A better camera, both freeze after taking a picture.
