Hi guys i would like to know if there is a way to unlock htc one x just by sliding on the three buttons on the screen. By the way im using viper x rom 3.4.2, i've noticed there is a slide2unlock feature in venom tweaks but it only wakes the display basically its like pressing the power button and it doesn't unlock the phone.
Some roms have swipe/slide to unlock which is what you're looking for rather than swipe to wake, which would probably be the kernel, I can't remember which ones though...If you have lyapota's mod you can set longpress home to unlock, if that's any use

it actually has an option slide2unlock but it only wakes the phone up and it doesn't unlock it, the phone behaves just like when i click on the power button,which is of no use.. It would be way cooler if i could just slide/swipe and unlock the phone
Go to lockscreen settings and select no lockscreen. (on AOSP it works like that)
One possibility is to rename /system/app/htclockscreen.apk (or similar) to htclockscreen.bak. That way the lockscreen should be gone but I don't know how it would affect receiving calls.

I would like to know if it is a stock option or if possible to enable swipe/tap to wake from lock or swipe/double tap to lock.
I really dislike using my power button as it is super flimsy, I love this feature from sense.

request kernel like elementalX kernel, that can support double tap to wake and double tap to sleep.
i want double tap to sleep not at the status bar but can tap for everywhere at the screen.
Since our device supports Double Tap to Wake, I was wondering whether it is possible that our device can support Wake Gestures too ? (Screen Off Gestures)
