if you could send me your:
- SystemUI.apk
- framework-res.apk
Ill edit just your status bar, and the rest of your staus bar such as notifications, and set a transparency on them. 0-100% you could choose. I liked %40. Its better this way because then you can keep your current theme or watever you have going for you + the transparent title bar. If your using stock Androidan. I have a test you could try. Just reboot in recovery wipe cache and davlik cache, and flash this. Boot up select theme in Theme Chooser. Should be Called Transparent. Restart phone and hope changes take effect.

-- Side Note- Ive had several themes and i dont recall my status bar being transparent but the notifcation bar is.. with that said, i might have wasted my time and yours, but hey its a quick test, and will take only 20 seconds

i tried that but i just came out white and the glitchy,but ill try the theme you posted in a bit

In the UOT Kitchen under that statusbar mod you want to select Dr Droid for the top bar..
That one will give you a semi transparent top statusbar..its the closest thing I have found to what you want.
Hello people. I'm seeing alot of battery mod threads but if you want a little more customisation head over to the UOT kitchen and bake your own framework/system ui.
I did it yesterday and it worked perfectly. You just need clockwork recovery and your away.

Great heads up, i see ti now works with stock ROM's as well, wish they would add the CRT effect though.
this is a good website but unfortunately all that it changes for me is the battery icon and nothing else on status bar or notification area, i am confused whats up with it, its not just this its every theme i try to install does the same
well, the main prob with kitchen and our phones (S series and S2 too) is Touchwizz.
modifications via kitchen only affect framework-res.apk ;touchwizz needs modifications on twframework too.
knowing this, you can still use kitchen for :
-battery icons.
-notification icons
-glowing (at least for sliders bars and a part of the pop-up windows IF they aren't managed by twframework ).
haven't tried mods on status bars yet with my S2 but they were ok with my old galaxy S so it's probably the same.
P.S :
as always with themes, don't forget to wipe cache and dalvik cache after applying it viaCWM

OK, I figured it out. But I can't select 'Transparent Status Bar' only, I don't want any modifications on status bar but just to make it Transparent! Maybe it's not allowed!

Can you choose status bar then not put a tick in the box for icons?

Well the Transparent Bar is not working for me. Just for me I just selected only Transparent Bar and nothing else, but it's the same damn black status bar in the end
Try with ADW launcher for the transparent statusbar and disable wallpaper hack

Ain't you supposed to upload the twframework.apk along with the framework-res and systemui? I did and everything changed, battery, signal, wifi, alarm, menus, pop ups, font, everything I told it to its changed everytime.

Thank you directing us to the kithen. I have tried to use but seem to have an issue. When I select a mod, and click generate preview, it doesnt do it. It tries to generate it but then just times out. Anyone else had/having the same issue? Am I missing something or could it just be my internet?

Beatifoul theme, thanks for share it. But i have only one prkblem. It can' t start. I don' t know why but if i flash the zip from CWM it doesn't start. Any new boot or orange line or other things that this theme has.
I think that the problem starts from the old theme installed, that has the boot animation with two balls with bobble. Can you help me? Thanks so much.

What is your baseband..this theme is for KPN baseband flashed with CodeROM.2x-2b (KPH).
Yes i have the Coderom2xv2b with KPN. Yes my phon was not able to start. The boot's process stoped at the bootanimation. Thanks for the help.

I can take a look. I have already ported this for Luca's FroyoMod rom for the milestone.
Attach the framework-res.apk, twframework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk from Cog 1.51. I don't want to download the whole rom for it.

I will have to replace the battery icons in the theme. I cannot use the ones in the Leedroid one because they have only battery icons for stock %'s while Cog has 1% icons. I will use the revolution battery icons from UOT kitchen recoloured and resized.
Rest seem to be ok. I will send you a pm with the link when done. You need to test it for me.

this theme is from the froyo days. Gingerbread roms are introduced with branched SystemUI and framework-res so thats why no systemUI in there.

All buttons have been redone, H+ / 4G / Wimax in revolution style. Notification buttons are the same. The green goes well with the theme. Background is changed.
I will give you 2 variants. One with stock revolution battery icons ( only 0,10,20,40,60,80 and 100 ) and one with 1% battery icons.
You should get it in a couple of hours. I am at work now.
In the meantime, if you want to look at the icons, download the apk from the link below,extract the /Res/drawable-hdpi folder and have a look at the icons.

This version is with UOT battery icons. I will upload a version with stock revolution battery icons tonight. Only framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk are themed as requested.
I downloaded Cog 1.51 to try it out. It works.

Just flashed it. The clock is much darker than the battery and signal bars. The icons are not blue. The network name is blue. Hopefully you can fix this and make the notifications bar transparent as before.
Fast, but I read that the wifi has up and down arrows now like the data, does your mod affect this ?
This mod doesn't affect the wi fi icons. There are arrows under the wi fi icon in the new leak

same problem here clock is dark blue and no service icon.. is big green block instead of the correct icon?
also my notification screen is not transparent.. are you sure you posted the correct version.. as others have said clock is wrong blue. etc.

After installing there was no icon on status bar. I am using Fixerom by Darky
Notification bar disappears after reboot when faceunlock is enabled.. Using stock rom XXLPB.. deleted the systemui.odex file.. Need to disable faceunlock and flash the zip again to make it working.. Any idea?
EDIT: Version 2 working fine. Version 3 having the above problem.
