Dead HOX (Cannot turn on, maybe in APX ?) - HTC One X

Here's the story : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1812615
4th August : So what I think I did is :
1) was pissed off, so I tried a power+vol down\up combo when the phone was 'stuck' in the 'quietly brilliant' logo (for the 2nd time)..
2) Then it turned off completely, I believe it ran out of juice.
3) wall plug charged it once, red led was on, tried to turn on again but didn't, removed from charge and now no sign of life at all
4) Left it "charge " all night (no led light)
5) doesn't turn on, tried to connect to pc several times and it showed APX or something once
6th August:
at the moment when I connect it my laptop won't recognize it, says USB Device not recognized :/
HOW CAN I REVIVE MY ONE X ??
Any help would be appreciated I may have lost my baby!! :crying:
Also im new with HTCs, come from Galaxy S1

[Q] battery drained, Desire EYE wont charge and/or turn ON

Well this is my situation:
I bought a broken screen and broken digitalizer HTC Desire EYE with AT&T stock rom 4.4.4 lolipop
While waiting for the screen + digitalizer replacement, i decided to try ADB commands to remotelly access the cell from the PC.
When first time i turned ON the cell, it worked ok, all sounds of android OS could be heard and worked ok, and even HTC Sync showd up and i could even access the internal and external memory of the phone.
Then i tried to boot into fastboot with low battery levels, i rebooted in fastboot and my PC detected the drivers for such...
then since i was on blind cause the screen was broken, i clicked on I was supposing was recover (i needed to enter on recovery so i could run an ADB commands to activate USB debugging from recovery, so i also later have access to remote screen of the phone from the PC)
So, i clicked on blind thinking i was on recovery and after that the phone didnt charge any longer the battery or turned ON.... i connected the phone to the wall charger and not even the RED LED light of the battery turns ON anymore.
I tried all the options: 1) volume +, power
2) volume +, volume -, power
3) volume -, power (for over 20 secs) and nothing, im like lost here?
I also tried plugging the USB to the PC and that doesnt even work, nor the PC do any sound when a new device is connected, so its like the phone is completely dead.... any help is more than welcome
come on, no one? damn, im blind while waiting for the freaking chinnese screen replacemente... since i cant do crap... i started a wall charger for 4 days, lets see if this turns on at least the red light, which by the moment it doesnt... will keep updating this thread regarding the status and situation in the couple of days.
i'm having the same problem right now with my HTC desire and i just bought it in July brand new from AT&T. I was wondering if it ever turned back on for you?

Check for dust or other dirt in your charging port, then use a toothpick to get it out, this fixed it for me.
Bumping because I have a similar issue and don't want to make a new thread.
My screen is fine, but the LED is off, plugging it in does nothing, and it wont turn on. Worked fine last night, it was in low power mode (on CM 14), I shut it off and plugged it in. Now, the next day, it's dead.

HTC one x won't charge wont turn on

I use it as my second phone but it had all my important docs in it so what happened was it had 40% charge last night but when i woke up today it refused to turn on and i plugged it almost for 6 hrs into the socket it refused to charge, the red light doesn't turn on neither it goes to the bootloader
-->One other thing it was still on Sense 4 and andriod 4.0.4 i guess so i tried to update it manually,(it was a fail actually) i followed every step given on htc website but nothing worked it said error 171 usb not connected htc sync is also installed on my pc so drivers were there i tried to get into fast boat through bootloader but no luck there so rebooted my device started using it normally and then when i woke up it was not turning on
-->also i tried every combo written on the forums like holding down power button+vol down ,power+vol up,power+vol up and down nothing worked
any gurus out there who can help me ? i know repair is an option but show me your expertise

LG G3 cannot turn on nor charge

hello, i'm completely newbie/noob here.. so here's the quick explanation..
well my dad just bought an used LG G3, at first the phone is working fine, but the day after, the phone is dead, so he charged it, but after he turned it on, the screen is going blue (blue screen), then it shut off itself, after that cannot turn it on again..
Tried charged it but no LED light is on (means it's not charging) even left it charging for few hours.. so i tried to connect it to computer but it won't detect it..
So the summary is:
- The phone won't turn on , won't charge (no LED on top)
- cannot enter download mode..
- has 2 batteries, tried changed it but still no use..
- tried leaving it overnight without battery ( saw other post ) , the next day, turned on, LG logo, then blue screen.. after that the method is not working anymore.
So, what i want to ask is , is the phone bricked or what? is there any method to restore this phone?
thank you....
Do you have LG drivers installed? If not.install them and connect to pc.

Power management problem or hard brick?

Hello guys, I'm having some problems with my Samsung S4 mini i9195. I was changing sd card to try to see a video shot with my Xiaomi Yi, since the phone boot I had some lag problems when suddenly it turned off. I'm not able to charge it, boot, go on recovery or download mode. When I plug it to my charger it vibrates, and battery logo shows up for a few seconds the it disappear and the screen goes black. When I plug it to my pc it says "unknown device" and try to download drivers, but I hear the usb device sound like the usb is connected and disconnected continuously. Today I tried my friends' battery(charged to 70% at least) and as soon as I plugged it the phone turns on and the samsung logo shows up, then suddenly shuts down. After this try, my friend pugged his battery in his phone and after booting battery was 0%, then he rebooted again and the correct percentage was shown. I was thinking it was something like a dead eMMC, but not anymore I believe it's a bad power management problem. What do you think? Can you guys say if this is a motherboard problem or only something related to the charging board?
Thanks a lot for your help.

HTC M8 Dead. Doing strange things. Help appreciated.

Hey all,
Got a second hand HTC M8 in an auction yesterday and it was marked as being faulty. The usual.
Plugged into my 5V 2A charger. Orange LED came on for about 5 seconds then goes off.
Tried again and again. Eventually got it to stay solid Orange for about 5 minutes before it went off.
Plugged it into my PC and it installs "Care Suite Emergency Recovery".
And that's where I am stuck. I google Care Suite and all I get is stuff related to Nokia.
However, I did come across one that says that it's a "Dead Boot" - Bricked in other words.
Just thought if there is anyway to save this device. Even though it is old, it would be still nice to get it going again.
And I have tried Key combos and nothing (P, V Up, V Down for a minute etc).
I have no idea if the previous owner tried to root the phone or anything. It's anyone's guess.
Any help would be gladly appreciated.
Thanks!
Try charging for several hours (such as overnight) on wall charger (not connected to PC). Then try power+vol up for a minute or 2. Or just power button for a minute or 2.
I don't know what "Care Suite Emergency Recovery" is. But it's normal to get the Qualcomm download mode message when connecting to PC whenever the phone is powered off. That message (Qualcomm download mode) also appears in the case of a true brick (JTAG or new motherboard needed). But it doesn't definitely mean a brick. It just means the PC can't talk to the phone, and that happens if the phone is simply powered off, or battery dead.
I'm assuming/guessing the message "Care Suite Emergency Recovery" is a similar or same symptom.
