Yes, but not the original shipping stock (maybe newer units), as far as I can tell.

its just a newer stock rom that shipped with my phone. No one posted it yet so i figured i would get it out there.Im not sure what changes it brings but its running smooth for me.

If there's improvement in the update then devs can rebase their roms. Most ROMs come from stock dumps like these

Hmm...
Does anyone know why they would release another one so soon?
I doubt there is an official change log anywhere...

how do we know that this isn't older firmware? Maybe we have the most current one? Not trying to put the op down. Just giving an alternate perspective. This update isn't available using kies is it?

I sent my first one back. When I got my new phone there was a sticker that said updated on the package. Then again on the plastic protecting the phone.its new software. mrmako77 i couldnt get the data #1234# unable to process request..Is there another way?

Hmmm, I wonder if there is anything in here worth rebasing on this....
It's probably minor stuff.
Other then the baseband. That kind of intrigues me. Wonder what they did to it..

I'll extract the system.tar tomorrow and do a compair to see what was changed.
I want the baseband

This isn't new. It's been around. Last time someone had trouble updating with this build because keys wouldn't recognize it. It's just another version that tmous gs3 shipped with.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

I think the new baseband fixed the cell standby and WiFi reception. Ad those were the major concerns of the original UVLEM
Sent from my T999 using Tapatalk 2

Its 100% a newer update I orderd one was defective. So they sent me a new phone the box says updated. I don't think they would waste their time adding stickers to the boxes plus on the protective plastic on the phone for no reason. Either way its uploaded so I hope it helps in some development. Thanks to all of the developers who take time to make our devices better. I wish I could do more to help.

I just sent a tweet to Telus Support regarding the update and this is the response that was given:
Hi there, the ICS upgrade is in acceptance testing and will likely be made available as of June 12th. http://www.telusmobility.com/pv_obj...92D19E2F2E672442F40200/filename/DOU_May31.pdf
Would the 4.03 kernel give enough info to ppl to make a 4.04.
the differences in 4.0.3 in 4.0.4 is minimal and only really benefits the galaxy nexus because it had a battery drain problem with 4.0.3
is their a uvlde update with the patch for the telus device?
Im just wondering cause t mobile told me we needed the update on our phones before we get 4.0

I am pretty sure that my phone has not had any updates since launch. Definitely not any type of UVLDE maintenance update. I wonder how this will be handled by the devs, maintenance update included, not included, etc.
Sort of teetering on the fence with whether I should go back to stock or not

Has anybody tried it out yet? I'll be able to try it out in 5 hours or so, when I get home.
Quick screenshot of the contents of the zip. Looks like this could be used in Odin. But it's available on Kies as well? Might have to check that out first.

I haven't tried it because mine is standard (GT-I9100). You should be able to update via Kies. Anyways, you can extract *.tar.md5 file from zip e flash it using PDA option in Odin.

Will Kies allow you to update or would I be able to flash via PDA option in Odin if I am currently Rooted? Just running stock Telus ROM, but rooted with custom recovery.
I can try when I get home as well, if someone hasn't done so already by that time.
I'm thinking to be safe I will go back to stock, make sure my phone is recognized in Kies and go from there. Odin will be my plan b! Seems like the safest possible option.

No ..........
I must thank you DG for the leaks you give to us at&t Sammy users. But (as respectfully as possibly meant) could you put in the op about the possibility of brick when flashing a bootloader.
If not I can give a lil info.
DISCLAIMER:
When flashing a bootloader always plug your USB cable directly into the back of your computer. If you somehow don't get enough power or lose power during a flash your phone will become a $600 paperweight.
Please weigh your options and KNOW WHAT YOUR RISKING!!! Someone will make a cwm flashable zip really soon. So be careful. The new bootloader may make triangle away (counter reset app) no longer reset your flash counter.
Again thanks DG and I mean no disrespect by my post. I just want the people new to androids and Samsung aware of the risks.

I've been running it since this morning. Removed some Tmobile apps with Titanium, made some edits to the build.prop to identify itself as an att phone. It's been running great all day. An advanced reboot mod was just posted in their forum for this release. I just flashed it as well and it seems to be working as well.
How exactly do you get 4.1.2? Flash a tmobile rom then flash the radio?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda premium
Just flash the rom, do not flash the radio. And as far as I know, this only works for tmobile roms as their hardware is almost identical to ours.
Are you running stock rom, or the deodexed rom?

I don't know, my house doresnt get LTE but I'll check later today when going to work.
I changed a lot of build.prop stuff to reflect att instead of tmo, and that ended up breaking play movies. The tmo build prop however works perfectly. Go figure.

[Resolved] How to add Multi-Carrier support??

I have yet to figure out how to add more carriers into my ROM so
That it is more user friendly, sadly everyone I have asked about
Adding in Multi-Carrier support hasn't replied.
Hope someone can enlighten me on the subject a little.
Cheers.

I just wanted to port in some more carriers so when it first boots
the ROM is more compatible with more then just Telus users.
I haven't ever used aroma and don't plan to if I can.

With a Canadian ROM all the user needs to do is as their APN and change their build prop to reference their specific device. An easy way to do this would be to make a flashable zip with the apns.conf file and like the one from my ROM and then make a build prop for the at&t device or any other i747m device that the user can flash after installing the ROM.
apns-conf.xml - 198.08 KB
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda premium
So basically I'd have to just create the flashable zip + updater-script, add in the apns-conf.XML file along with an at&t build.prop? Sorry to clarify, I'm just a little uncertain.

Yep that's the really basic way and it works for at&t and Canadian ROMs so you don't have to upload a whole new ROM. You can get more in depth if you so desire but then you'd need to do it as a separate ROM

What can I do to make work mi wifi, bluetooth and camera.
Thansk a lot.
Sounds like another one of these.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2672790
If you got UVUENC2 running on there either by kies or odin then at least the motherboard is a T999. Im wondering if maybe you got mixed components from whoever sold it to you.
Check the imei and sn against the sticker under the battery.

Thanks, exactly, i forgot coment, the IMEI and SN is not the same that the numbers that appears in Settings.
I discover this when i change the display, and kies flash until i wrote i747m and serial in Kies flash t-mobile rom.
Other thing that i forgot, when i flash the fhon in download mode, don appears the progress bar, in others models that i have always shows the progress at the same time in odin, and in this case only odin shows the progress.
Thanks
I would contact the seller for an explanation before going much further, especially regarding the imei.

I tried contact the seller but i don´t have any answer, for this i try to make work wifi, camera and bluetooh.
What else can I do?
PD; The phone is unlocked, and works to make and recive calls.
Find the thread in general that hss the dialer codes and use that to check the cameras firmware version. Then grab an ATT rom and see if there is a corresponding file in the cameradata folder and copy it to yours. (Or you could try just copying the whole folder to see if it works).
If that doesn't work, I'm not sure what else to tell you...

I flahs drivers camera and doesn´t works, I root and flash recovery TWRP, i was reading that maybe need to flash a different kernel, the question is what kernel you recommend me to flash to try to work the hardware.
Thanks
Stock kernel is all I use. Kernel thread is in General section. All you can do is try a few and see.
You said you flashed the camera driver? What exactly did you fo and what did you flash? Did you use the dialer code to check the cam firmware version?
When in download mode does it show the model?

I used this code:
*#34971539# Camera Firmware Update
based on this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/general/jb-4-1-2-camera-driver-t2006128
Cause this was my case
Rear Camera ZDFE02
Phone FW ZDFI02
After flashing
Rear Camera ZDFE02
Phone FW ZDFE02
But doesn´t works
In /system/cameradata, do you see SlimISP_ZD.bin? Or something to that effect...
Rear camera is the firmware version currently being used by the camera. Phone FW is the firmware loaded on the phone along with the rom or device firmware. So initially, what was on the phone was newer (this is normal btw). We used to be able to write the newer fw from Phone to Cam ourselves, but Damsung patched against that in 4.1.2.
In other words, whst it says for phone and rear cam do not need to match. Just make suure you have that ZD file in the cameradata folder.

The file that you say is in cameradata folder, i don´t lnow whats the matter, and why don´t work the camera, bluetooth, & wifi.
Thanks
