Amazon.ca does not have any good protectors for sale. They are all on Amazon.com and they do not ship to Canada. I went to Armorsuit's website and ordered one but it's going to take 4-6 weeks, that's crazy !

All I know is that I tried to order all 3 brands and it said that the item was not available to ship to my shipping address...
I just don't want to wait 4-6 weeks to protect my phone and I certainly don't want to buy a ZAGG at Futureshop.
Canadian shippers is good because it will get to me within a few days.

I definitely see your point, however unless you find a Canadian reseller that provides such fast shipping, even those within our country will ship to you the same way international orders do via regular mail. It took me 2 weeks to get a battery from Toronto, and I'm in Ottawa. While ordering from the states, korea, hong kong have all gotten to me in a weeks time(about 4-6 business days). Just now actually I ordered from a korean store and in 3 business days it has arrived in Toronto, and I expect it to be here in the next few days. I have never had an item take any longer than that, so 4-6 weeks is pretty excessive \=

My TPU case is 6-10 days (first class mail). My Armorsuit protector (bought directly from their website) is said to take approx. 4-6 weeks (international shipping).
I prefer to wait than to get a ZAGG for sure

Trust me I was pretty surprised myself to find out international orders, especially overseas orders took less than 2 weeks. Thought it might be the same for most major Canadian cities. Guess it depends which city you are in. Just last week I got my 64gb class 10 from Korea, took me 4 business days @[email protected]

8.95 is already cheap IMO and Skinomi (through Amazon.com) won't ship to Canada anyway.

It took about a week and half to get it. I'm not 100% if it was amazon or skinomi who mailed it to me. I also lived in Brossard (South Shore of Montréal) when I ordered it.
I moved to Calgary 3 weeks ago.
I had an issue with the first one they sent me. There were lots of micro bubbles on the screen. I contacted skinomi and they were really nice and they mailed me another one without any hassle

I just run mine naked. My Epic 4g lasted two years without one and the screen is still mint even after multiple falls face down on the concrete. One of those drops even consisted of a 15' slide while face down. Gorilla Glass is amazing stuff. I would only use one if I worked somewhere that would lead me to having lots of metal shavings or sand ending up in my pockets.

How bout I scratched my screen applying the zagg protector. Watch using the card to squeege the bubbles out. The edge of the card put a hairline scratch on my phone. It kinda defeats the whole purpose of a screen protector.

I just got my Zaggs full body kit and noticed that there are some things floating in the solution. Ive used them before but this is the first time with a pump kit. Since the others ive used were sponge I never noticed this before. Kind of nervous to even use it as I would hate to have all that crap stuck between.

I'm all the way out here in NYC. I was hoping that it would ship from somewhere closer but I guess thats how it is. . Now hunting for cases and screen protectors. Because I am proficient at it, I always use the wet-application protectors. Is the experience like the Nexus S? I had that before I got the GSII.

Got the phone Friday. Had it rooted and tried the CM9 kangs, but its still WIP. Currently rocking AOKP. Love the ROM Control. I can have my Nav bar in any combo, color and layout. Now looking for a nice case that can add some bulk to the phone.
Played some 720p videos on Youtube and the screen is beautiful.
I am looking for an extended battery and a full protection case like the Silicrylic or the Trident Aeigis. Currently reading but I'm still not sure on where in the US I can get one that can fit the GSM version with the extended battery. Is there an extended battery for the GSM version?

Was just literally looking at this about 30min ago on Amazon. Let me know how it works/fits. I dont like cases, but when I expect to go out or have the potential of roughing up the phone I use a case, and like the rubber ones (keep the phone from flying off of tables, etc.). But I'm a bit wary that these manufacturers list the cases work for both the CDMA and GSM versions, considering the GSM version is slimmer I don't want it to be loose on the back.

FedEx Ground? Its quoted at up to 5 business days. Ordering after hours Friday means it won't ship out in time to get on its way yet. That's 5 business days.

You think waiting a week is bad?? My GSM Nexus arrived at my house today but I'm in Afghanistan for another 3 weeks! Oh well, time to hit up amazon for some accessories.
I have the diztronic rev 3 case and its amazing. It fit perfect with stock battery and fits just as well with the gsm extended battery.
I love the cut outs and everything fits perfect and looks great.
I also order those screen protectors too. I paid 99 cents for 6 so I figured I might as well try them.
I put one on in my bedroom. Dust destroyed it lol. Next one I put on in bathroom after shower and perfect.
for 99 cents 6 of them and its great imo.
I was never one to get the great screen protectors because I always got the cheap ebay ones and they usually worked great. These are the dry ones and no rainbow effects, still smooth, and getting bubbles out was a breeze.
Highly recommend both protector and case!!!

Unfortunately they don't. The UAG cases are very form fitted to the stock phone.
That site seems a bit too hip for me to buy from...

i know that slim/sleek/svelte is all the rage these days, but if you're like me, you're paranoid about drops. i've used this case on my n4 since day one and couldn't be happier with it. i'm definitely picking up an n5 version of it when i get around to ordering my n5. (which should be tomorrow, woo!)
just wanted to throw this case out there as option for those who want more serious protection than the slim and hybrid stuff currently out there. if this case is anything like it's n4 counterpart, it's not going to add a ton of bulk to the phone. i think the protection/bulk trade-off is right in a sweet spot with this case.

This seems similar to the dual layer Incipio cases for some phones. If it is then I agree this is a great balance for cases offering heavy duty protection.

I ordered the white one on Nov 1st and was expected to ship on the 12th, never got a shipping confirmation so I'm assuming mine was delayed too. Disappointing but at least I got it with the free shipping offer!

That's annoying. I was looking forward to seeing if the Nexus 5 case lived up to the 4's well deserved hype. I've ordered two cases already for a combined $13, but I was looking at also getting this case for the best protection.

Sorry i was mistaken, I think it was actually $0.99 with $4.50 shipping when I ordered the white one. Still no shipping confirmation... It was suppose to be delivered by the 19th. yeah I'm beginning to think something is up with the CTC store myself. The low prices seem to good to be true. Mine say it has shipped and was supposed to be delivered already but I have yet to see it.

I had an order in at that price but I cancelled it, now I regret it, I can't find the cheaper listing now...
I'll go and contact them tonight and see what is with them dissaperaing on amazon.
I also noticed CTC store had pretty much disappeared.
I cancelled my order with them around 4pm est and bought it from another vendor.
At 5:30pm est they sent me a message telling me that they're sorry, they shipped my package today, and to write "REFUSED" on it and send it back.
At 6:15pm est they sent me a notification saying it had shipped.
I'm going to play along and give them the benefit of the doubt, but the way they're going about things seems very peculiar.
Where can I buy this case shipped to or in Canada?
Egh I have this for the Nexus 4 and it gets damaged so easily on the back. The material takes permanent scratches like nothing.
