But its a Beta-Preview-Version. IT'S ONLY IN THE NAME OF SCIENCE!!! WE JUST WANT TO HELP MICROSOFT.
Downloading and playing with it.
Holy crap this thing is fast....google.ca came instantly. It seems like MSN is caching some of the data through a server or compressing but something.
It is very beta. It shows the entire page in one shot. I am just checking Howard Forums and going down on the page is like navigating through Gmaps for PPC.
I am still trying to figure out how to zoom....
Not bad but still in its infancy. Whoa, wait this thing zooms in like crazy! Amazing. Not bad for pre-beta.
It is a bit like the S60 3rd browser!
So is any one gonna post the activation code ?

And what are leaked OS? I don't came here for any serials oder cracked software. But i came here for Aku3, WM6 and so on and in my interpretation of the word "warez" OS are very close to this...

I have been trying to get an activation code sent to me all morning..
I can understand why is it so difficult for people who already have a code for this pre-Beta application to post it out so more people can try it...

I installed it with someone's activation code, but got the error message after the deepfish validating something:
Internal: Unable to get timely response from the server. This is generally caused by poor reception with your data provider. Please try again.
I also tried the Diagnosis function, it said HTTP request failed (12038)
I tried both Wi-Fi and 3.5G , the results are the same
Anyone can help?

Dont follow the directions you find with google (using the promo code DFPRESS) just sign up for MS beta's with your live account and then put those same details into the deepfish download section. I got a code first time and second time(2 pda's). No i wont give one to you. I dont know what all the fuss is anyway. Its not that good.

Yeah, I just signed up again today and got an activation code about an hour ago. So, I'm sure they're giving them out pretty liberally. But I'm with you, I'm not a huge fan of it (so far). It is somewhat difficult and clumsy to use. But hey, it is in it's earliest beta stages, so I'm sure it'll better later on.

Your sarcasm radar must be on passive and set to low sensitivity. Also, don't confuse postcount for being a n00b.. ever consider that lurkers don't post because they might not have any questions they need to ask?

Thank you, I have been dealing with palm and pocket pc for a long, long time. My first PDA was a Pilot 1000. I have been lurking in this forum for a long time. I have learned a lot in my years from this forum and others. I am a beta tester for a few well known software’s. So please don't let my post count make a fool out of you.

The internet is courage juice to some people. I think the ones that are most unnecessarily sarcastic on here, are probably the ones who used to get slapped upside the head by bullies all thru their high school years, and now have found a channel thru xda to vent their anger loll!

Sadly that promo hasn't worked for me on any of the 5 accounts I registered for most of which were done yesterday afternoon when that was posted.
Thanks though for the assist and I'll have to sit tight for a bit until they release further codes to test with.
(This and WM6 BE 2.0 are the only reasons I may keep my 8525 and not go to the BlackBerry world...)

To all the people looking to get their hand's on a activation code:
Forget it!
Microsoft gave away a limited number of codes, because this browser uses server-side rescaling of images. Since it is still beta, they probably have only limited server-capacity.
They are of course not stupid: every browser will tell the server it's IMEI (or equivalent unique identifier) and the activation code. If there are more than one devices with the same serial, the serial becomes blacklisted.
Because this works so well so far, I believe that this was one of the features actually being betatested...

If anyone's noticed, App Hub was just updated to support a new private beta marketplace. Most importantly, it doesn't require certification.
I'm not sure what the problem has been in the past with the Marketplace and 'InteropServices' apps. But if it was the actual certification that was stopping someone from submitting one, maybe this new beta marketplace could help 'jailbreak' Mango.

Developers publish the app as a 'beta app' and then they will be able to send invites via Live ID email address to the people they want to test it.

no, but I was updating it, did you get it to work?
I added the email adress field because people were uploading hacked software what can cause problems :|

Will you add a possibility to browse the supplied XAPs? That would be really awesome And you said you're building an API, I could help you with making a WP app so it's possible to browse and install directly from the phone in an easy way
