Hi all,
as I make my own theme after every ROM Samsung releases, I wanted to share this with you as I know some people find it useful.
Minimalistic, safe, clean and simple.
To apply this mod, just enter CWM recovery and flash the Boeffla-Mod zip file. Reboot, done.
Version history:
Version 1.1 (XXBLH3 only)
All features of previous version
Blue themed extended status menu (see screenshots)
Switch buttons now blue as well

Blue themed quickpanel
Blue themed clock and date
Blue themed buttons, checkboxes, sliders
Blue themed digits or bubble battery icon with 1% percentage numbers
Some transparency effects in pull down
Extended power menu

For all downloads, visit the download area of www.boeffla-kernel.de, or click HERE.
Screenshots are attached.
If you want to undo, just flash the rollback file in CWM and you are back to stock odex.
As always: Flash on our own risk!
Make sure you flash the correct version depending on your firmware version!
Make sure you flash only if you are running an odexed firmware!!!
Also please note, this mod could override other mods already installed by custom roms. I can and will not take any responsibility for bricked phones.
On top of that:
I understand, many people would like to have slight deviations of this mod, different battery icons, different colours etc. However, I honestly do not have enough time to fulfill all your special requests.
I build this mod only for my personal use basically, so it is like it is.

If this is turning out to be stable - absolutely!
I plan to evolve this quite similar to the Boeffla-Mod theme on the Galaxy S1 over the time. Features will be added step by step, but for now I just want to see if this is working as expected already.

Hi, thanks for reporting.
In my experience from my SGS1 Boeffla-Mods I know, it will take some days to reveal missing customized icons etc.
So, good to know it runs without flaws so far, will keep an eye on it over the next few days (anyway I am on holidays over the weekend).

Seems I found Checkrom is deodexed. So you cannot flash this mod onto it.
I will build a deodexed version soon though, if there are enough people reporting interest.

Hi Hatomyy,
I am sorry, I never created the mod for XXBLFB as this firmeware is already very old. I started from BLG8 onwards only. If you flash the mod on your BLFB, you will end up in a boot loop.
I would really recommend you moving up to XXBLH1 if you want to use the mod. It is a very good running firmware, in my opinion much better than XXBLFB.

This theme is based on Haxzamatic's excellent honeybread theme for CM7 with modifications by me.
First release for stock deodexed KF3 because that's what i use. It includes themed framework-res.apk, SystemUI.apk and Settings.apk. The theme includes CRT animation and Overscroll effect. Extended menu being worked on.
Releases for VR2.0 and Cognition roms are next. I have received permission from pulsar and DG to use their files for the theme. Thanks, guys.
Procedure
Usual procedure. Flash in cwm. Cache wipe is recommended.
Please note that it will overwrite your framework files, so if you have any doubt, ask before flashing. If you are on stock, you can flash with no problems.
Feedback is welcome. Since it being a first release, you many encounter issues. Post them here and i will try to sort it out.

The Dithered Dark Holo Background mod replaces the original background_holo_dark.png file in the framework-res.apk.
Stock vs Dithered: (levels were adjusted to highlight the difference)

Samsung AMOLED users:
The Black Dark Holo Background mod replaces the background_holo_dark.png to a all black (0,0,0) version of it. This is useful for those trying to maximize their battery life. A black background essentially turns off the pixels due to the way AMOLED works.
Files are attached to this post. Use CWR/TWRP to flash.

i made a VRTheme update.zip for the Dithered Holo Background so that you can flash it to every ROM without ever need to update it again. I send the link to Zabalba as i am not allowed to post external links. I am here since 2008 but never posted that much

Well i found a solution to this.
I am using latest trinity and trickster mod.
Screen settings are:
All 255
Saturation & Black 119
the rest 0
Phone Brightness around 70%.
Give it a try and let me know what you think. Its very similar to the trinity colors on our GNex!

There are 2 ways:
1. Backup your Rom before flashing this mod and restore your backup.
2. Push the apks in the vrtheme folder into the system apps and set fix permissions.

I have found my home in NeatRom 4.8 and have made this theme for it.. which I share with you in this post.. I post #5 i will post links to mods contained within this theme. Most are NeatRom 4.8 others are for 4.9.1 but are clearly marked......

Clear Blue 3.0 (NeatRom 4.8) the final build as its how i want it to be...

Cleared out 100% transparent status bar. 3 point rotating launcher (normal, Portrait left and right). Blue text as far as i'm prepared/wanted to go. CRT off effect (has a bug but I'm trying on a work round).

Ok so some of you (I hope Most of you) will want to know how to do some of the above...
Well the vast majority can be found HERE @bombaybadboy thread.
some others are listed here.
first off 4.8 mods
Rotating lock screen ZIP HERE however this is a simple build prop edit which you cand do yourself with most root explorer type apps on your phone... You simply open build prop file (located in system file) and add this line at the bottom
lockscreen.rot_override=truesave and reboot. Job done!
To remove it ZIP HERE or simply remove the added line above.

To remove it is a work in progress but a zip will appear here in due cause otherwise its no-wipe flash of rom for now.

was built using .apks from lsw... Your welcome to do a backup and try it on any other version. Should be ok with LSS but can't make any guarantees. If it doesn't work its easy (ish) to make for other releases You can try yourself with guides in post 2 or ask me... Given time I can do it. But would encourage you to try for yourself.

Thank you. While I have no real objection to your request the point of this thread was two fold one share clearblue which is a work in progress as I just started work on dialer/contacts and two provide YOU all with the same links I have and do use to make this theme possable. As I am a working man and have just started dialler I don't have much time so you have choice, learn and do it yourself or wait DAYS for me to do it for you. Let me know either way.
