I think that was because the theme creator put a link for the paid version into the OP.
Your theme looks nice, but I think it has too much white color in it
Not to sound too blunt here but I really don't understand, I thought the mods who warned the themer, who created the flow theme, to not to post work in progress posts and yet this thread is opened...?

Can't wait, looks great! Not enough white themes on here...too much black/inverted.
The on-off toggles look a bit off. I'm sure you'll work this out, but just in case you didn't notice, I wanted to point it out. Also, I agree with the previously mentioned comments about the status bar icons. Stock or a whited stock would look fine.

This is my 3rd theme so far. My wife suggested making a Steampunk based theme and here it is for everyone to enjoy. As always, let me know what you think and any suggestions are welcome. It does not include any specific app icons, however it does have folder shortcut icons. I will be focusing next on adding custom icons to all of my themes up to date.

opps... never mind about the links. love the "steampunk" style. reminds me of rusty metal and vintage war themes. as for the icons, you might wanna check out some of theirs which would fit in quite nicely (maybe mix and match, best of all the styles). keep up the good work and the more steampunk-like, antique-ism, and vintage-like themes the better!

Hi people,
I've started a new thread for some new themes. For now, there will be only previews of themes, expect full themes on weekend.
If you like some preview you can say and I will then make a full theme. Also if you have any suggestion about some new themes please say.
To apply a theme you must have CWM recovery first. Themes will work on JP8, JPO and JPA for now.
Themes will have AOSP lockscreen and extended power menu button.
I've started this thread to see what you people want, so your suggestions are appreciated. I can also make some icons for launcherpro, docks, wallpapers if you want. Thats all for now, themes are on next few posts...

Hmm.
Would be a good idea to design very simple minimalistic themes, similar to what you have created but in different colours. But not to graphic heavy to cause lag etc

Have like a minimal section, and so on. You will bound to get noticed

The one i posted could be awsome, its also very minimal! But still has a fresh feel to it.. Only problem is that its MDPI.

Would any theme creators out there be willing to do a Psychopathic Records theme for me? I would like for it to be similar to the Gears Of War Theme created by ZiggSeVO and Paul627g. Transmattered red is freaking aweome. This could get lengthy. lol. Im love all the black and red of your theme. My email is [email protected] If you would email me I have the pic I would love to have as my status bar background. I had attempted to modify the Gears theme on my own. As a noob I must have missed a step. Once I removed original gears theme and then flashed the "modified" one. It went through the boot animation and then force closed and looped the boot. The pic I have is of J and Shaggy. And it would be cool to have the a nice smooth hatchetman logo that matches the color at both ends of where the "Galaxy S" logo is at the bottom of the status bar. If you want to go all out and make a all out theme I have loads of ideas. but i do not wish to burden you. It seems like alot of work and Im so happy you replied. I just do not want to take advantage of your kindness. I will be glad to donate to you or pay you for the theme. Even if its for the public. For the boot animations I would like to have a clip from "In Yo Face" video. Its a high energy video and would stand out. yes yes i can do all this... i will pm you my email so you can send me all the pics n stuff, ideas based off of my theme, the boot animation is gonna be the hardest but its still not too hard. & would you have a sound clip for that in yo face clip so i can make a matching boot ani. i can change the dialer backgrounds, & most of the system apps as well, & if you do wanna donate i dunno how to set it up thru paypal yet, im sure its easy, but what eva... just give me ALL... your ideas & it will only take me a couple of days topps all i need to know is what rom your running

Good to see your work back Rixsta. I've been giving codeworkx CM9 a try for a couple of days now, I like it apart from a storage issue. Anyway, found this theme and flashed it, like the look and its a good start.
As always I will give some feedback lol. Not keen on the background in contacts and in menus areas, could do with being more subtle to make it easier to view contacts. Finally, maybe remove the cyan. The red is stunning on its own.
Anyway guys, keep up the great work.

Your pretty smart aint ya!!! I didnt ask for a smartarse answer and especially not from you. Also if you widen your thoughts beyond 'smartarse' thinking then maybe you could see that actually a red theme would work well and maybe the guys would develop that, dependant on feedback and demand, then name it something else. As you know, it couldnt be called Cyanored, that would be pointless. Pretty much like your comment!!

Found out that it was placing the bootanimation.zip in the wrong folder, problem is now corrected.

No other changes (original icons, original backgrounds, aso). What do you think? Are you bored enough to do this?

Yeah mate that should be fine. Do a nandroid backup just in case, then you can restore easily if something goes wrong.

Chill, its all about love on this page, not hate
Some feedback:
Works great on latest build (20120217).
Detailing is really well done - blending of red/blue very nice.
For my personal taste the shade of red is a little too bright.
Battery number in status bar is not readable (maybe i need new glasses).
I couldn't see a way to change the background image for settings etc. I quite like this wall, but i'm sure people are going to want to change it.

It's made from a balance of red and white, and sometimes a steely grey. It's meant to cater to the hardcore, and it's not for girls. Blood, fire, demons, they're all in there in one shape or form and together it makes for a vicious blend that will bring some intensity to your phone. I'm not sure what all you want me to change... you can set your own lockscreen if you don't like it and the only other semi demonic related stuff is (and by a stretch) is the contacts icon, MAYBE messaging, and the occasional pentagram. Really shouldn't be necessary to make a whole new version over these small things. However if you can come up with a reasonable list of offensive content, I'll look into a de-demonic patch.
Also my camera app started force closing now... and i was pretty sure i fixed that problem. At least it was working yesterday, ill check into it more tonight. Already missed a chance at scoring some neat pictures, myself D:
Please remember if there's a problem with the theme on your device, there are multiple ways to restore a broken app.
can always update the .zip you download from me with the original .Apk from the rom you are running, or push the app directly, however you want to do it, it's not hard at all.

I'm running Digital Warfare and loving it so I can't use Ruby Tuesday.
As for offensive, thats not AT ALL what I meant. Just a personal preference that I don't love the demonic theme such as the candles instead of signal bars and the demon pictures and such. I don't find it offensive, it's just not my speed. Others may love it. For me, I prefer simpler themes. I love all the other icons and the 4G look and all that. Maybe I will try it out on my phone and see if I can come up with a list of what exactly I mean.

That would be great! I think a red and black theme based off ICS would be perfect. Something very simple but in a red and black style ala' ruby Tuesday is perfect.

Rooted + cwm and have to be running one of the supported ROMs ^^

It's been like two months since they updated... I'm imagining heavy framework & rom control changes... I'll make a port as soon as i get a chance... prolly tomorrow morning
