Successfully unlocked O2 XDA II but can't make/receive calls

Hi,
I've tried both the 1.5 and 1.6 unlockers and both report success. I have fitted a Vodafone sim and both the sim and network are recognised.
However, if I try making a call the screen shows 'Dialing..' then goes straight to 'Call ended'. If I try phoning the Vodafone number then it is reported as unable to connect. I have tried both soft and hard reset.
The Vodafone sim is valid and works fine in another phone (I no longer have the original O2 sim , it was on a company contract that has been cancelled).
Do I need to set anything to use the Vodafone network or any ideas on gettting this running as a phone again?
Thanks.
Just noticed that under Phone Settings it says Phone Number: Not Available...?

Network SIM unlock code problem

I bought a network SIM unlock code. I entered it when asked and it worked at first and allowed me to make 1 call. After that it does not connect to my network provider or make calls any more.
I've tried a few things - checking GSM settings etc - to Auto and not. Many things.
But no luck.
I'm wondering could I have got a faulty unlock code or is it the device that is faulty.
I put the SIM in another phone and it is OK. I put other SIMs in this, including a different network and no go.
It was locked to T-Mobile, HTC HD2 WM6.5
Any help would be appreciated.
Turned out to be a faulty device

How to activate HTC Droid incredible 2 in Europe?

How to activate HTC Droid incredible 2 in Europe?\
I don't have expirience with CDMA phones, but i know that this phone will work on GSM 900/1800 mhz networks.
I have a lot of tools for unlocking HTC, but can't find information how to activate off-line this phone b`coz in my country don't exist CDMA networks
tnx a lot for helping to me
Also when i put sim card - phone have network, can make calls and can recive calls - but don't have many. Only stuck on screen - Emergency and Try Again - to activate
I know you have to unlock the phone with either a code from Verizon or a goldcard, and then you will need a sim card from your local carrier.

Phone is alredy unlocked by XTC Clip and s-off. Have GSM network and can recive calls.

SIM Unlock skipping

Hi everyone,
When I restart my phone it skips the SIM unlock screen and I can't call or use 3G.
I can't find a manual SIM unlock option either. Does anyone have the same problem? Is there a solution? It only works again after a number of restarts, which is very annoying... Any ideas?
Thanks
Chris

SIM State: Network locked

Just got a hold of a HTC One X and get no signal at all when I have my SIM in.
Was originally from O2 (UK) and when opening a SIM info app (eg SIM card, SIM manager) the SIM state shows as network locked.
I'm assuming the phone needs to be unlocked but there doesn't seem to be any way of inputting a unlock code (doesn't prompt for unlock code with SIM inserted,no option for entering unlock code in security menu).
Any ideas?
Thanks

Don't think you can SIM-unlock a HTC One X without s-off, unless you have a code, in which case ive read in some cases you may have to insert the new SIM code and hard reset the phone, to then input the code. But don't quote me.

Yea that's the thing though. I have an unlock code for it, I just can't find anywhere to input it.
I've done a hard reset and there's still no prompt for unlocking.
EDIT: my flatmate whose phone it is said that it was working fine before upgrading to JB.
Bump =/
try inserting a sim from a different provider, phone will ask for the code on its own as soon as new sim is in

do the sims have "password" set? might not be the network lock

Nah they don't which is why it's so odd.
I'll go pick up a brand new sim today and check if that works
