i checked it; not worked. I lost my status bar. Anyhow i recovered it some way.

if you have deodexed rom try put file systemui and quick setting to system/app in your rom.zip
and do it that same with lidroid-res and put to system/framework and save
install uset cwm but be for you must install again your deodexed rom
and when is finish push reboot and when you have your ogrinall deodexed rom turn of your fone in cwm and install moded rom with this file what you copy
this method work

On Ginger the status bar it's in SystemUI.apk, so that's the apk you should edit to change something.
Just flash the zip via CWM Recovery..

Does not work.
Try with UOT kitchen : http://uot.dakra.lt/kitchen/
Upload there framework-res.apk, SystemUI.apk and change what you want.
It worked for me.
I did my self i upload it via adb and wipe cache and dalvik
Anyway, it doesn't hurt to try one more time with UOT And the best thing is that UOT gives you a zip that you can use it with clockworkmod.
Can someone load up a stock GSM 4.0.4 systemUI? I put this mod on my phone last night that was suppose to ONLY be a battery percentage mod but ended up changing all my UI buttons. I hate it. And like a dumbass, I didn't backup before I flashed it.
So if anyone can upload a zip file of the stock 4.0.4 systemUI that I can apply via CWM would be great. ( I have the GSM nexus so I need the systemUI from it a verizon or sprint UI wont help me)

I answered,but were answered at the same time ,but it works,so...
Im on stock rom. So it should have been an odex. But i flashed it in CWM and everything works fine. I had always though that if you flashed a deodex on an odex ROM it wouldnt boot, but it seems eveything is fine.

Just for re-odex your SystemUI.apk?I've tested this on a deoxeded rom with no issue,but on also an odexed rom with just an app deodexed,I don't know...Backup before,if you want to test

Instead of trying to re-odex the file, why not just grab it directly from the stock image?
Download the factory images from here, extract the system.img from within, convert it to an .ext4.img by using this and then (for Windows users) use this to mount the .ext4.img and extract the file.
Know you've learned how to grab any file from the stock images in case you mess up any of your files...
i have arc s rooted official ICS 4.0.3 i deleted the settings.apk by mistake
after reboot i didn't find the settings icon i try to install settings.apk that i get from another ics rom but alway application not installed

place the settings apk file in "/system/app/" using root explorer or any such thing.. but remember the settings apk file must be from the same rom
the enter recovery and wipe cache.. that would do the job..
thanks alot i backup the rom then flash new firmware take the settings.apk then restore & put the setting.apk clear cache install and it works fine
Im using the AeonFluxx v2.5 ROM based on UCDLK3 for the AT&T Galaxy S3, I really like the ROM but I just want my stock status bar back. Can someone make this for me? I mean completely stock, no icon changes, stock battery, stock colors and carrier logo up in the left corner. Please and thank you! :laugh::good:
if you want it stock status bar just pull the systemui.apk from any stock rom but that could mess up the rom if the dev has modified his any i would ask in that thread for a stock theme

I installed the 15 toggle mod with stock battery and it works ok but I just want it stock again.

if you want to get rid of the 15 toogle mod just reboot into recovery wipe cache and delvic and reflash aeonfluxx and that will get rid of it

The only reason I installed that one is because it was as close to stock as I could find. But it has some problems, like I have 13% battery left and the battery icon is still green. But when I play a video in facebook it turns red. Im still looking for a complete stock status bar .zip file to flash.
this should work download and copy to your phone use a root file explorer like root explorer or astro and copy it to system/app folder you will have to mount that folder as r/w once it copys reboot your phone if it causes problems just wipe delvic and cache and reflash your rom

I noticed several people asking for a 1% battery mod. I de-odex systemui so I could make more changes. This flashable zip is is a de-odexed version of SystemUI.apk and will delete the .dex file. Make a backup of the file before you flash. It runs great. I am not going to re-odex the file until I'm done with my mods for easy changing purposes. Im offering this so you can have a 1% mod. Its blue circle with white text and charging animation.
NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PROBLEMS WITH YOUR PHONE AFTER FLASH. MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE FLASHING. IT WORKS FOR ME
