Does anyone have news of the update 2.17.401.2 for the brand Vodafone UK?
Now it's been a month from the update and the firmware is still 1.29.161.13

I am sure you will get it soon. Three UK users have been stuck with 1.28 waiting for 1.29 since it was released and to our amazement they have jumped straight to 2.17 two days ago.
I would switch to Vodafone at the drop of a hat if I could!

I tweeted Vodafone UK Lastnight asking the same question! I had a reply but it was no help at all. Basically said they have no information but we will be notified when available...
I personally think it will be sooner than later, usually its within 2 weeks of the UK unbranded update. Maybe quicker as Three UK pushed the update on Monday..

In another thread here, someone from Australia has posted that they have just updated to the 1.29.751.12 update.
I presume 751 designates the far east or Australasia. Do they run with the same update numbers as my 401 (UK)? If so, does this mean another update is on its way?

EDIT: Seems to be 'Chunghwa' (whatever the hell that is!!) as there is this previous RUU available

It fixes the radio hang issue(not reconnecting after lost connection to gsm) and other stuff
Live Wallpaper Fix?
First thing I would check is the live wallpapers.
With this update, can you confirm if (or if not) the Live Wallpaper Scrolling Issue has been resolved?
Mine has been updated to 1.29.771.11 yesterday, branded to Three /Sweden. Had no issues with Wi-Fi or 3G already and have not yet noticed any improvement/change whatsoever..

I've a HTC one x from carphone warehouse with a 3 sim and assume its not carrier locked the (CID is HTC_001 if that helps?) however I've still not got the update.
Any advice?

Currently, HTC_001 has no JB updated yet. Follow this thread to track what CID(s) received JB update.

I'm got a Vodafone HoX and got my JB update about December 11 (once I'd relocked my bootloader etc.) - my GF (also a Vodafone set), got the 4.2 update a couple of days later (I'd rooted and such so didn't get this one, and can't see much improvement with anything).
A work colleague however, is on the 3 network and STILL has no news regarding the OTA :silly:
I'll have to check what CID he has to add to the list.
o2 germany was slow on this like hell

Middle East region didn't receive the update yet with unbranded phones in the all area.

Try having CID of HTC_J15, which is UNBRANDED & not connected to any carrier, model for the the Middle East, have not received JB yet!!!

I know this question has probably been asked a lot recently but I am still waiting for the update to sense 5. My CiD is HTC_044. I am in Australia but my phone was sourced unbranded from asia (somewhere).
Does been in a different country make a differance?? Has it been confirmed released for this CID??

I am ORANG001 and been waiting for the Sense 5 update & 4.2.2 update from Orange UK. They seems to be very slow in providing the updates. My sister has Vodafone and she's got her update just the next the it was released by HTC in UK.

Yup.... ORANG001 will get it in about a month or two...
They have been very very slow in the past so I guess they will take that long this time as well...
But don't worry... You will get it 100%, you just have to be patient...
If you want you can use the WWE stock rom until that day, like I do...

Well... You simply download the stock rom and flash it from recovery... If you have never done something like that there is a great tutorial in the "general" forum for the htc one x...
You can downalod the stock wwe rom from the Android Revolution HD thread here at xda.
