Bro actually i tried this...i deodexed the stock camera and added some lib files related to camera in cm bt camera is getting force close...
i think it can work if any dev like RON AND VENKAT work on it...
becoz stock camera is very clear...thn CM camera....i used stock rom for few days....

CM is is also good bro.....
bt it is mostly dark............even increase exposure.....no good quality of snaps as compared to the stock

If you want stock sense camera you need to be on sense rom. But there are lot of camera apps on the market. Go and try maybe you'll even find one that suit your needs better

I think you can use any keyboard on the market or flash stock one but for the camera idk... i think stock camera won't work... or use any camera app on the market (lgCamera good one)

Are there any custom ROMS for the LG G4 that have the official stock LG G4 camera app bundled?
I've tried installing the official LG G4 camera app on Cyanogen 14.1 but I keep getting errors. I really miss the official stock camera app as the quality on it is superior.

Only on stock based ROMs like Imperium or Genisys. You would have to port the app and libraries etc, and apparently it's not easy thing to do.

The right answer isn't that it isn't easy to do. It's easy we copy paste the files from the stock.
Problem here is that g4 camera will only work on the stock based framework.

stock rom and based stock have LG framework and libraries. so picture quality is very good.
when you use CM-LAOS- or AOSP. this use generic framework. so you loose quality. and like everyone says its nrealy impossible to do.
I would like to know if stock manual camera features (long exposure, hi res audio while recording, etc.) work on custom ROMs like ASOP based, CM ROMs. You get the point lol thanks! :good:
