Nope, no problems for me. Sucks that you're having problems as it's a pretty awesome game. You tried reinstalling and/or restarting the N7?

the Horn thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1863322
In there I posted; if u have problem with license, just launch the game from within the Play store once or twice, then you can try again with the shortcut. If you install and then goes straight to shortcut, it doesn't work most of the times.
Not sure if that's how the game registered, but that fixed it for me.

Do you have multiple gmail accounts on your device? If yes, make sure you're logged into the account that you bought it with. Should clear things up for you.

Google Play Error

Ever since I got my SIII, I've been having problems with the Play Store. Anytime I go to purchase a paid application, I get the error "Unable to retrieve information from the server [DF-DFERH-01]. Googling this error only shows me a bug that affected the GTalk a few months back. But the even more odd thing is, its starting to happen on my N7 as well. I can download free apps fine. It looks like it's having problems initilizing Google Wallet for the purchase. Wasnt having these problems with my other phone (EVO 4G LTE on Sprint). Is this a known bug with T-Mobiles networks? I've tried it on multiple wireless networks, as well as HSPA. Even had my buddy sitting right next to me try and he could download fine. I'm rooted on CM10 today, but I've tried 3-4 other ROMS with the same problem. Almost positive its tied into my Google account. Did the basic troubleshooting steps such as clearing the Play Store data/cache/uninstalled a Google Play Services update, and re-added my Google account. Is anyone else experiencing this? And if so, is there a known fix?

I did actually. I switched to ParanoidAndroid for a second to see a new build. I screwed around for a few seconds then uninstalled it.

How would I tell that? It was set to stock when I flashed PA. And I set everything back before I flashed back.
Could also be a problem with your account like you mentioned. I think some people have had problems when having multiple services associated with that account. Maybe create a new account and see if it still happens. Dont know how inconvenient that may be for you.
But if its happening on different roms and devices then its surely the account. Maybe contact google support?

Yeah. That's kind of worst case scenario. I know they're a PITA to get in touch with. That's why I was seeing if there is anyone else with this problem that could possibly help me fix it.

New Netflix update (8/7/13) borking playback on rooted device?

Just updated the Netflix app, 4.3 optimizations, etc, and while I can browse the library, I get an error message upon playback. Something about not being able to contact the Netflix servers. Also tried on my HTC One X w/ CM 10.1, and it worked just fine on the same internet connection.
N7.2 with stock ROM (2 OTA updates), unlocked, and rooted.
Anyone else getting this error?

You can clear app data a few times in a row, solved the issue for me for now. Got through one movie anyway

After updating, I had the same problem last night. I was able to remedy it by unistalling Netflix, reinstalling it and signing back in. If that doesn't work, try clearing the cache for Netflix App.
Good luck!

Using Paranoid Android and have no problems with Netflix.
Would somebody mind pulling the apk for me? Every time I try to download I get "Package invalid" on both my N4 and N7.
Both are running CM 10.2 and I hope that is not the issue.

Agreed. Clearing data didn't help for some reason. Reinstall did.
Worked for me also, but this new version offers a great new stuttering audio over bluetooth feature.
I have problem being able to login at all with my Netflix app. It responds with the typical wrong password or username popup, even though I'm certain the credentials are correct. Have anyone experienced this?

Build number JWR66N breaks Netflix on all devices. Wait for the next OTA or install it yourself with one of the guides.
I'm still on JSS15J though... no updates yet.
I had a similar problem. I just cleared the app data, force quit, restarted the app, and logged back in. I'm on JSS15Q though. Not sure if that matters.

This does in fact matter. As far as I know, netflix is broken on JWR66N and will only work on the JSSXXX builds.
You can fix this issue manually here. You must have the ADB tools on your computer, and can get them from this thread. This is how I fixed mine. Just make sure you pay attention and know what you're doing.
EDIT: I recommend going to JSS15Q from whatever build you are on.

A reboot didn't do it for me. This only happened on my first run of Netflix on my new N7. Netflix was one of many apps that were automatically restored on sign-in, and I'm thinking it restored the data along with it. I don't recall being asked to sign in the first time I ran it, when it failed to work properly. After clearing the data and signing in, it worked fine for me. Either way, it works now.

I am having the same type of problem.... I have a rooted 2013 N7 on the latest firmware (JSS15J).
If I use the netflix from the play store I get stuck on the first red screen with the spinning logo and can never get past that point. I have tried uninstalling about 100 times, clearing app data, force closing app, rebooting, etc.... nothing works for me.
I had to go back and install an older version of netflix to at least get it working at all.
Is this happening to anyone else and if so please let us know the exact steps needed to work around this.
Thanks!

To be quite honest, stock android on this device is buggy as hell so far. I am a stock/rooted whenever possible kind of guy generally speaking(I always prefer it since you can get OTA's etc), but I was forced to switch to CyanogenMod 10.2 KANGS on this device, due to crazy bugs. They are now a thing of the past. From the smart-cover bug to the GPS bug to the Netflix BREAK, all of these problems are no problem for me. So go get PA or CM or something until Google/Asus gets their **** together! :good:
Same here. Stock non rooted. Can't get past the red screen.

Same issue here on non-rooted JSS15Q. It works after a reboot though but eventually stops working. No idea, but frustrating as hell.

If you go back to 2.4.0 build 939, the bluetooth audio problem goes away, here's a copy from my backup:
https://copy.com/lYXfT7rAq8x4
May need to install, and do a force stop / clear data before it connects. The Netflix Android app seems to have more bugs than functionality.

Netflix

The Netflix app still wont work on this thing. 10.5 WiFi. Anyone else experience this?
no problem here. does it work on your other devices on the same wifi network?
Yeah It works on everything else - 2 phones, a kindle and a couple of laptops. That's what the guy at Netflix asked too - he was useless ☺. It just goes to the spinning circle forever....
Hi, I believe there is a limit to the number of devices you can link with your Netflix account, worth checking if that is the case

Glad that worked for you. I just tried that and still have the problem. I've got 10 days to take it back so maybe I'll try on another one.

Handset not showing in Android Device Manager.

So today I've discovered my phone isn't showing up in the ADM - and I am betting that this is also linked to it now showing up in the Android Beta interface also.
Is there any way to remedy this?
My searching hasn't turned up anything that has worked (clearing the play store data etc).

You create the second account on the phone and use ADM with the second account. You may need to remove your main account first. Then re-add it once you have added the second one.
