Proximity Sensor Issue - Hardware Issue - Defy General

I have Motorola Defy MB525. A Strange issue surfaced recently. The Proximity sensor is behaving weird - It works sometimes and doesnt sometime!
Sometimes even after the call, the red color sensor keeps lit until I pass my finger over it to close.
As soon as I make a call, the display turns off completely and I am left with no option to turn the screen ON to disconnect the call or do any other task. The moment the call gets disconnected, the light turn ON back.
The situation is weird and I am sure its something related with hardware as I tried various other ROM and its the same result in each ROM!
What I need to ask is, whether there is any method to turn off the sensor completely? Or I should just smash that sensor to make it go die and non-functional?
The sensor is attached to motherboard and not a separate hardware at motherboard unlike camera and other stuffs.
Any suggestions or ideas to overcome this strange issue?

There are some reports that turning the screw behind the Proximity sensor half a turn would fix the problem.

Other issue is the rear camera. It's completely dead sometimes and if I hit the camera section with my finger, it's working sometimes. However the image quality is very low seems like it has a stucked lens or something? Front camera works fine and shoots good photos.
Next issue is with the flasher flasher works fine when I take photos with the rear camera when it works. However, any of flashlight applications were NOT able to power it up unless the camera.
Someone have tried to open this phone to remove a stucked SIM card and have damaged the logic board as you can see below. However, all the parts, sensors, mics, speakers close to this section is working fine (front camera, microphone, led, proximity sensor, light sensor, earphone jack). Any ideas about damaged section? will it causing above issues? Please help me guys...

Desire 530 - Remove over-sharpening and over-saturation?

Has anybody else noticed that the screen on the Desire 530 is massively over-sharpened and over-saturated? It bugged me the first time I used it, and reminds me of the over-sharpening on the LG G3.
It almost seems like a filter has been applied to the entire screen. Oddly, the over-sharpening/saturation is turned off whenever the camera is used, or whenever a video is played, and it remains this way until the screen goes to sleep, the over-sharpening/saturation then returns when waking the phone up. The screen looks great without the over-sharpening/saturation IMO, small text is much easier to read because there are no sharpening artefacts and it's generally much easier on my eyes.
Does anybody know how to disable it permanently? It's not a massive deal, as I can always start up the camera to get rid of the ugliness, but I'd like the screen to look natural all the time.
I've tried to capture it in the photos below, the normal screen (over-sharpened/saturated) is on the left, and the more natural screen (after using the camera) is on the right.

Screen goes black while in call

Hi,anyone have this issue in the moment when start ringing on the other side, screen goes black i can wake it up only by double pressing the camera key,i read that this is common issue with xz2 phones someone has report that changing the stock dialer is making this problem goes away but not in my case,i check sensors in diagnostic menu phone says diagnostic is ok,im not using any screen protectors or covers and nothing is covering the sensors,i did full factory reset and having the same problem again,i dont have a warranty on it so any susggestion would be great.
It happened to me before once ot twice too. I think it is tied to a problem with touch while receiving calls that has it's own discussion on the Sony forums. I captured a screenshot of the problem occuring. (touch was not working until i restarted the screen)

Hello,
I have the same issue, during a call the screen sometimes goes black like it was locked but then it lights up when I presse the ower button twice. That's strange but I think this is a software problem, since everything else is working well.

Problem with Kernel/Proximity Sensor causes Battery Drain

Hi,
I have a problem with my G5S recently. I had already sent it to a service center because of this, but Moto's Partner for repairs in Germany is horribly incompetent, so it came back with the same issues still occuring.
I think the whole thing began with a restart by holding power for 10 seconds some weeks ago. Later that day I noticed the infrared sensor on the phone's back to glow permanently red, much brighter than normal. It is the one left to the camera. This is even the case if I power down the phone, only with 0 battery the sensor goes off until I recharge.
With this sensor bug comes a massive battery drain, the phone never seems to go into deep sleep mode, the battery stats in the settings show a ongoing bar under active time. I made some screenshots of GSam Battery Monitor, maybe someone can tell me how to stop the process which holds the device active. The phone has no root or any modification by the way.
Thanks!

Question Front Screen No Longer Working

Hello All,
As the title says, the front scree is no longer working. When I perform a reboot, the screen does show some pink/blue static on the front screen, then turns black when the phone completes the reboot. The always on display sometimes comes on, but very rarely. It sounds like the phone is still working with the black screen (I can hear the unlock sound when I use my finger on the fingerprint reader). Is anyone else experiencing this? Any ideas on what I can do to troubleshoot this? I have tried a factory reset with no luck. Picture of screen during the reboot is attached (black lines on screen are a reflection).
Thanks.

Looks like hardware. Maybe a loose connector or failed hinge flex cable.
Looks like you need to call Sammy and see if you can get them to cover it, otherwise, you're going to end up paying for a replacement/new phone.
I had this problem with an older Sam phone. The screen would come on and then fade away. I found if I wound the brighness up full immediately after boot and before it faded away it would stay on. If I turned the brightness down it locked off again and had to be rebooted.
It's still OK as a spare phone provided I don't touch the brightness
Take it to a Samsung Service Center for repairs
