It will take about an hour to get the game after you get your first confirmation email from onlive. An email will be sent notifying it's now accessible.

Also this is great technology , what if everything ran off the cloud , all our data and property held by someone else no more hard drives or graphics cards , what if they police our stuff . Our phones pc are empty boxes with only a data link to the cloud and monitored by icq and the government .where's my tin foil hat . I hope the cloud rains.

Some of the games have been optimized and have on screen controls a la a lot of the games currently on the android market. played some tomb raider (awesome) and the controls weren't really that bad at all except for the inherent lag. other games will require the following:

there's the controller. it's bluetooth so I'm hoping it works with other games or emulators.. cuz that would just make it worth it to buy this on it's own. OnLive is set to become one of my fav companies of all time at this pace... right behind Google.
Also, the controller is supposed to open up for orders at some point today apparently.

This could be SO cool if it works well!

Are you guys actually buying the full games? The prices are pretty steep. It also says the full purchase is for as long as the game is there.

Any good toddler learning apps on android?

I been searching for.some time now for any educational apps for my 18 months son with little luck.
Most apps are geared towards older children,not to mention not too many have child lock on them to prevent children from hitting capacitive buttons.Seem like all good children's apps or on ipad/iPhone and I won't to avoid this option if I can help it.
Anyone know of any good apps?
Here are few apps that I have so far that are usefull and not too complicated for children that are 1-3 years old.
1 Toddle Animal Numbers (Probably the best one,its educational and its free)
2 Undersea Adventure for Toddler (Not really educational but a fun and simple game,and its free)
3 Kids Doodle Paint (Best thing about this is that it has child's lock built in,so you can go to sleep while they draw and not have to worry about them turning it off,this one is free too)
And that's about it,yeah I know that's a damn shame.Rest that I tried is to complex.

Also, there are lots of interactive books by people like "Oceanhouse media" (the book reads and the child interacts with the page.)

This is a good thread, I have an app called "kid mode" that has a lot of stuff in it, my 18 mo old daughter likes it.

They are toddlers...
They can take your iPad, S3 or whatever you have before you blink. So its better find them with the phone in theirs hands than see your gadgets on the toilet or trash can because they got bored.

Cmon guys this get this on track. Its a good thread. Who cares why a toddler has a phone. Its the parents choice. My four year old has my old nexus s that she uses all the time.

If I had kids I would. Getting them a grasp of new things at an early age is important and most useful for the future. Smartphones are only materialistic items so I wouldn't care really unless they're looking at things they aren't supposed too.

And here is the toddler lock I used to use before he really knew how to handle a phone.

When my daughter was 18 months old she liked learning animal sounds, She particularly liked the cat on this one Toddler Animal Sounds by Bluphant Games, They also do a paid for version which has a child lock built in it.
Now she's 3 however it's Peppa Pig all the way!

I was really hoping this was due to the preseason, but I tried asking it yesterday and again today with no luck. I wonder why they allow us to add favorite teams for sports they don't even support...

Yes it sucks... I put in NFL scores in regular google and nothing shows. If I put baseball scores it shows. Its something with google and the scores not being added to the usual search.
Try it.

I've done several searches for the New York Giants scores and straight to the web. I get Yankees fine.

I just got off the phone with Nexus Support, and they said it's a bug, and they're working on trying to fix it.

Really, come on... The NFL is much more popular than the MLB. They really dropped the ball on this one, Google Now fumbles on NFL scorecards.

Soccer scores work just fine.

you can manually add NFL teams but it doesn't do anything...still no NFL scores.

I don't recall it ever reading it out. Unless your are a blind person and need the accessibility options enabled, what more do you need than the score?

If you ask for the game score it will say, "the dolphins lost to the texans 30 to 10", or something similar.
My card showed up once, but now it doesn't show, unless I ask for it. Maybe because it's several day since their last dame and several days until their next game. But I wish it would show me at least their next game always.
Annoying thing is It's contently showing the Marlins even though I've removed them from my teams about three times now. I'm gonna try removing them from my phone and tablet at the same time and see if it will stick.

It does a game notification as well

Black ops zombies

Black ops zombies came out for the rest of android today. I bought it but it wouldn't work on my nexus 7. I was just wondering if there are any other zombie fans that might of gotten it to work.

Its not bad but does require a WiFi connection to play it I guess.. And yes in my experience some games don't work on certain ROMs for some reason I had the same issue with plants vs zombies back in the day

Yea, I noticed that too. I got it for my Nexus 7. My phone is not compatible for some reason... but look at this... *goes take screen shot*
I don't know what ROM my phone was on, but it was once compatible. It was probably some AOSP ROM.
Right now I'm running GamerMod (TouchWiz ICS) and that's giving me a "Not Compatible".
Also, that Tmo phone was my HTC G2. That was also stock Android. So maybe it has something to do with Stock... No!! That's just stupid because it comes free on the Galaxy Note 2 for Tmo, or the GS3 for Tmo. One of them. Hmm...
EDIT: I went through the reviews to see if it once worked and the previous update used to work. Looks like we lost compatibility. I hope they fix this. I wanna play it on my phone so I can connect it to my TV since the Nexus 7 doesn't have any output methods. :crying:

Yeah, I bought Need for Speed too. I used to have a Galaxy Tab that it showed it was compatible with so it allowed me to purchase it via the website, but it wouldn't send it to my stock unrooted E4GT. I wonder if it can be sideloaded if one gets the apk.

Since this thread seems to be still going, I don't think I want Black Ops: Zombies. I heard that multi-player only worked if you were on the same WiFi. That's so stupid. Does someone have the game? Can they prove me wrong please? What's the point of playing a game like that by yourself? LoL!!
