Hi all,
This is a small graphics mod based on the camera from the One XL, the 4.5 Sense camera and the lyapota HTC Camera.
Changes:
UiMod_Camera_Xl_Custom.zip
No Gallery
No Effects
Since the icons are in Jpg format and cannot be totally replaced, there are two black horizontal lines where the gallery and effects used to be.
Capture button replaced by the icons found in the Samsung Galaxy camera.
Record button replaced by icons from the net.
Zoom slider replaced with a custom "bullet" icon.
No Zoom slider panel.
No Zoom In/Out icons.
Black Grid
Focus replaced with custom green crosshair.
Normal Shooting, Settings and Zoom Off Icons replaced with Black dots.

Same as above.
Two grey shutters for Capture and Record which turn Green and Blue respectively when pressed.
White Dots instead of Black for the top row icons (Normal/Settings/Flash Off).
UiMod_4.5_Custom.zip
Same as above for the Sense 4.5 Camera
UiMod_Camera_XL_Custom_Cross.zip
Same as above.
Cross Icon instead of green crosshair for focus function.
I used the HQ Camera flashable file, so every time you flash it will say by Nodo-GT :- )
Let me know what you think or if you have any suggestions. Any help on how to make the Gallery and Effects icons transparent very appreciated.
If you want to change the graphics simply open the file with winrar, double click on the system/app/Camera.apk and go to res/drawable-hdpi and copy the folder to your computer. Then open a flashable of your choice and copy paste the contents there.

How can I arrange the icons in the application section? If I hold onto one of the icons it moves to the front. The front icons I can move around and delete, but I can't with the back icons (black screen) application icons. The back icons show up here when you download them originally from the market and I would like to remove them and rearrange them.
Unfortunately under the stock os you can't modify the icons like the other Galaxy S versions. The Epic uses touchwiz 2.5 instead of 3.0 which is on the captivate and vibrant.
I seem to have a problem with replacing smaller icons in .apk files and getting them to display correctly.
for example i was trying to turn the power savings bar (quick shortcuts widget) blue instead of green. i can replace the colors in settings.apk/res/drawable-hdpi with no problem and it does change the color but i can't seem to keep the icon smooth.
using photoshop cs2 if i replace color and save with no other changes the icon is not nearly as crisp.
larger program icons are no problem and seem to look very good.
but smaller icons for the buttons such as the screen timeout icons end up slightly blurred compared to the original. this happens even if i select the blank areas first and invert and create a new layer.
im sure it's something stupid a setting ect. im missing but if anyone has an idea id be appreciative.
only seems to happen or be noticeable with the smaller 47 x 47 icons.
doesn't seem to happen on even the 48 x 48 icons or larger.
Hmmmmm seems i found a fix. its a little more work but creating my own larger icon and rescaling down to the smaller size seems to work quite well.
a little more work but at least i get the effect i wanted.
still would like to know if anyone has an ez way to just recolor an image.
Is there a way to change the default icons of the stock apps both in home and the drawer? I believe there are different versions of the icons e.g. the US version has a black camera icon unlike the int'l which has a cream colored camera. Also a way to change the enlarged icons, you know when you press and hold the icon on homescreen and edit the icon and tap the ++ to make it big?

Need to replace the png which is in res/xhdpi or res/mipmap xhdpi. It's usually named ic_launcher_something. Png.

I have made a new theme called RedBlack. I have tried to customize many things. Hope you guys like it.
Features
1. Coloured icons in settings.
2. Removed coloured background of apps.
3. Coloured arrows showing in out going of data.
4. Battery icon will change its colour from green to yellow,orange and red.
5. Red and Black combination used ( my favourite colours ).
6. Amazing glow red colour in notification panel.
7. Very beautiful icons.

Installation
1. Download the file and put "NeoRedBlack.hwt" in HwThemes folder.
2. Select RedBlack in theme app and then apply with fonts and restart to change navigation bar icons.
3. Please reapply the wallpaper by long pressing the screen. (Because wallpaper looks horrible when zoomed and for some reason it always zooms the wallpaper when applying even though resolution of wallpaper is perfectly 1080x1920)
You guys can see that wallpaper looks very nice if you reapply it.

Hi all! The thing is im using hide navbar function from serajr XX module, and when i hide navbar all apps adopts very nice to new display dimensions, except for small apps bar, it keeps black rectangular bar under smallapps bar its a background from softkeys.. Look at the pictures
1 picture is with navbR enabled
2 picture is with navbar hidden u can see the black bar left after softkeys hidding ..
3 picture is with smallapps bar hidden and u can see that black bar is dissapeared..
So question is does it possible to change possition (drop down to the bottom of the screen) of a smallapps bar? I know here is an app called "app settings" witch can change size of an app size on the screen but it doesnt work on LP..
Don't know much technically, but as far as hacks go, you could mess around with apktool and udn module, (I posted an example here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/sony-xperia-z1-compact/help/hide-softkeys-t3298241 or try messing with screen resolution, (dpi). Probably Venkat Kamesh would know how to do what you're asking, (the right way), but might be pretty advanced. I don't know how far you want to go ...
