[Q] Screen defect? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

Imagine that your screen was divided into 4 quadrants. It seems that every so often, in portrait, the top left quadrant will flash black and then back to whatever was on the screen. It seems to only flash that corner. Does anyone else have this issue?

[Q] Screen Issues: Static Screen Vertical Lines Right Before Lock Screen

When I wake the phone, seconds right before the lock screen I notice a type of static screen with vertical lines.
It is more apparent when trying to wake the phone in dark settings or a dark room.
Stock Phone, No Modifications.
Is this normal? Has anyone else noticed this on their Epic 4G Touch? I just got the phone 3 days ago and am wondering if its a hardware issue and if I should return it. Any help is appreciated.
Attached is a picture that resembles the pattern.
I've never noticed it. I even tried to re-create the issue and I couldn't. I am also running the stock firmware (EG30) and I am not rooted.
Thanks for the help... I'm not taking any chances. Called to get a replacement.

[Q] Display position adjustment?

Does anyone know of a way to adjust the display position? I recently noticed that I have a black edge along the top and right side of my screen about 1mm - 1.5mm thick. It looks as if the display has shifted down and left.
The touch sensors work correctly, pressing where expected. nothing seems to disappear off screen, except for one line of text in ROM Toolbox's menu.
Display density is at 240 default, R800i, stock SE ROM, 2.3.4.
Anyone else have this problem, or can suggest a fix?

[Q] Horizontal lines: hardware defect?

All of a sudden my screen looks like an old interlaced CRT. Fine print looks jagged and I can see an irregular pattern of horizontal fine lines, especially on a white background. Those lines do not turn with screen rotation.
I rebooted several times with no effect. The lines appear on the recovery screen, as well.
I should mention that my phone dropped on a tiled kitchen floor this morning, but the lines only appeared at noon. Everything else works fine.
Has anybody had this problem and managed to get rid of it?
Got it repaired under warranty.

[Q] Httc keeps resizing display

I flashed the google play edition rom to my AT&T m8 and noticed on boot up the whole screen wasn't being used. There were artifacts on the bottom eight of an inch on the screen. This wasn't a big deal until I went back to stock and now it seems android can't decide on my screen size. The screen will continually jump screen sizes where the notification bar will wrap vertically to the bottom of the screen. I've tried wiping everything but the problem persists, it even jumps on the bootup att screen and the htc one logo. Any help would be great!
Added a picture of the artifacts on boot

blue screen mark

Hello everyone after I installed LineageOS I've noticed a blue mark on my LG G pad screen, the mark is only noticeable in very dark / black images, haven't tried to go back to stock or different custom rom, did anyone face similar issue?
edit: the mark is about 1cm under and 1cm right the center of my screen.
I've searched the web and it might be a internal component pressing against the screen or a heat issue (my tablet never heated too much).
I can't print it and I'm not available to take a picture of it, a selfie cam mirror shot won't capture the mark.
Again, it's a dark fading blue, the mark is about 5mm wide.
Any help?
