Are you running the systemui.apk thats included with the modded battery or the systemui provided that has the stock battery and toggles in it? The round battery is something I'm not a big fan of...
I get mines tomorrow, so I can't test now to see...I'm just asking because I'm trying to set up what I need to get my SGS3 up to speed once I get it....busy day on Friday, so I'm checking from now.....

Extremely slow dl
Its been almost an hour, and Im still only at 36% downloaded...
Not sure what the issue is, but just wondering would a Download this slow be damaged in transit and not work right, because of the scattered

Note, there is no APM, but thanks to Whitehawkx, you can go to the reboot option in the status bar and choose what kind of reboot you want. Again, all credit goes to Whitehawkx for that and the entire extended quick settings code port, originally from Lidroid.
What can I expect to see in GingerSnap in the future?
See the change log for upcoming features!
Check the Changelog to see what’s coming in the next release/what I’m working on now! You can also leave comments there or here to tell me what you’d like to see!
Instructions:
1) Place ROM on internal or external SD, doesn’t matter which one
2) Boot into recovery
3) Factory/data reset
4) Install zip
5) Wipe Dalvik-cache, fix permissions
6) Reboot
7) Wait 10 minutes for resources to settle- don’t touch your phone
8) Reboot phone
9) Go into settings, applications, development, enable USB debugging
10) Done.
I understand you may not like the ROM, but I have put over 40 hours of work into it so, feel free to voice your concern, just be respectful to me and other forum members
Also, if you want to use a CPU controller, I recommend CPU Tuner! It works the best for this ROM.
Bugs:
-Force close on notification swipe away
As a side note, to all of you that want to be able to develop your own Android ROMs, it’s not impossible! Feel free to message me for info on getting started! Please keep posts relevant to ROM though, thanks
Credits:
ADT for the black/blue Gingerbread Keyboard, lots of speed tweaks, and help in the process of creating this ROM.
qasimzia512 (the best themer around here ) for the ICS icons and phone/setting apks as well as anything else that has blue in it.
-Mr X- for the clean, CIQ-free base, and being awesome.
faux123 for the kernel.
Lidroid for the OG extended quick settings and Whitehawkx/TeamKang for the ported code to our SGS2.
AndroidON for the cache tweaks
All the beta testers!
All of their work is what makes Android so great! Please thank them!!
Please leave feedback in the thread, I hope you like it!

Just flashed it. I do believe the Navigation bar is messed up, or is that a new button style? Looks too squished to me.
Nav bar is awful
Many thanks to everyone testing.

Honestly the Nav bar keys you used look glitched, even if that's how they're supposed to look. You're going to get a lot of complaints about this because really, they look more defective than stylish. Thanks for the zip though.
Great ROM I hope there are still features and regular updates to follow. Thanks for your work

Open Google Now by long pressing the menu key. On that note...adding Google Now removes the double press home action for SVoice.
This rom also comes equipped with its own kernel. It is the stock AT&T kernel. If you are attempting to flash on a device from a different carrier, please take the necessary steps to ensure you have a working kernel...as I am unaware if this will work on other devices.

Battery Mods
These mods will replace the stock battery icon in the status bar...these currently will only work on the Chastity and AOSP themes. They were created using the Villian method of flashing a theme which means they should be "evergreen"...not needing to be redone for every new update. Theoretically, they should be safe to flash on other TW based roms as well...assuming they already have the 100 battery image mod.

If someone would migrate 15 toggles MOD into our native framework with tether and cell standby fix - that would be awesome.
Currently that 15 toggles MOD came from i9300 - and already creates bunch of issues, like reporting broken sdcard etc.

Could you please give a quick guide how I can get the battery icon back? The bar is nice looking but a little less practical for me.

I'm using WanamLite 1.0 and it has the 15 toggle mod and I don't seem to be having any problems or side effects that I can tell. Is he doing something different?
Nice, I like seeing more roms! I'll give it a try at some point.

Also, I installed Mybackup Pro and its complaining that the Busybox version installed is old (installed 1.19.3 and min required is 1.20.2). I'll update it manually I guess.

Hey AT&T Galaxy S3 users! (and i717M Canadian users!)
I wanted to share a ROM I am starting to build, it's in its infant stages(notice version 0.1) so this ROM isn't for everyone.
I wanted to build a ROM for especially for noobs, for those of you who are just getting into the game. I do receive a ton of emails from noobs being totally disappointed after trying advanced ROMs like CM9/CM10. Not all but those noobs I wanted to help by building a ROM off the stock ROM.
I know, if you are a noob, you shouldn't be flashing a ROM anyways but there are a ton of noobs who want to flash ROM anyways and I want to support those specific people by building a stock-like ROM but adding cool features so they can slowly transition to other great custom ROMs already here on XDA.
Anyways, if you have any suggestions and you are a total boob and want certain features added/removed, let me know and will work on the next versions.
Thanks!
See Video Review Here

UPDATE: 8/23/2012 - Users reported having some battery issues with v0.2, this has been fixed, please flash HighOnAndroid kernel after installing ROM over fox fix.
http://galaxys3root.com/highonandroid-galaxy-s3-rom/
If you are coming from a stock AT&T ROM, you don't need to wipe!
If coming from any other ROM, please do wipe!
*Note - This ROM is for NOOBs, if you are an XDA expert, you shouldn't be flashing this ROM! (Go try Kyan, TuchMi, Diet, WanamLite, CM9, CM10, etc...etc...)
P.S. I support the noobs. We were all once noobs asking the dumbest questions in the world, no there's no such thing as a dumb question, that's how you get smarter but don't annoy others on XDA with dumb questions.

I think so.
I am a new follower after watching a ton of your videos.
Thanks for doing this! I wish this was available to me last week when I flashed my first ROM.
A faster mirror pleeaaase? Especially since the rom is about 700 megs!

Features I always like seeing are:
Toggle bar mod (quick panel or something you can change the toggles)
Brightness slider bar below the toggles
Jelly bean animations of course, which you already have done
Maybe some cool battery bar mods as well
I was downloading an AOKP rom, just seen this. It looks as if I have some flashing to do today, there is so much to try out; your video looked great though!
This seems pretty cool... If you could incorporate Google Wallet that'd be great. Downloading and giving this a try. I'll post back with some feedback!
Power menu would be great to have makes getting to recovery quicker and also I implemented cell standby fix works great and crt off is perfect
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2
wonderful idea
power menu is key to assist with recovery access
maybe include TB as an app
keep everything in modules: stock, rooted core ROM and then cwm installable modules: mods, themes, etc. as pre-packaged options for noobs to gain experience to assist in selecting custom roms with more extended and preferred features
