Android Open Collective Project​
This ROM was ported from the Galaxy S II Skyrocket forums. It has been created by Johnsondr80. He owns all the rights to his work. I just ported this amazing work so we can enjoy it's rich experience on our device.The ROM must be extremely stable and has big performance potential as tested on many devices. I share it as a beta. I do not own an Xperia S so the ROM is in beta in the current stage. Please test and report bugs so I can improve the ROM and bring it to it's fully optimal potential for the Xperia S. It is based on CM10.1 compiled for the Johnsondr80. It has been ported to the Xperia S. The ROM uses RaymanFX's kernel on the unofficial CM10.1 builds that he compiles.​

How to install:
For Unlocked Bootloaders:
1. Power off the phone:
2. Hold vol+ and plug usb to boot into fastboot (blu led)
3. Fastboot flash boot boot.img (from the zip)
4. Fastboot reboot
5. Enter recovery, on boot led will be violet for 3'', during this period press vol+
6. Flash rom zip
7. Flash gapps zip
8. Wipe
9. Reboot

ok i downloading the file and test it.

I have tested the beta 3 but it will not boot again. But I noticed that the LED flashes red during boot process.the kernel is actually installed? or do I have to install it before via fastboot? I come from RymanFX CM10.1.

Introduction:
MIUI is a custom android interface developed by Xiaomi for their own range of smartphones. The UI is very fluid and catchy along with brilliant features. I tried to port it many times myself, but failed. And then, someone finally posted this and I'm glad to provide it with you.

Installation Instructions:
I recommend MIUI Recovery for installing MIUI ROM.
- Download MIUI Recovery from here.
- Flash the recovery using Nokia X Flasher. (Or you can use Flashify but it's risky)
- After you are flashed the Recovery, boot into it by pressing Volume + and power key for 15 seconds.
- Goto Backup and create one backup.
- Download latest version of MIUI ROM and G-apps (links provided under Downloads heading in this thread).
- Download Mi-Pop add on if you want it.
- For Nokia XL: Download XL Patch.
- Place the downloaded zips in the root of your SD card.
- Once booted into MIUI Recovery, format system, data, boot and cache.
- Now go back to menu, and choose Install.
- Then choose the ROM zip.
- Flash it. After done flashing, flash the G-Apps zip.
- After done flashing, flash Mi-Pop.
- For Nokia XL: Flash XL Patch.
- Choose Power--> Reboot System.
- Let it boot. It might take a couple of minutes to boot for the first time.
- Choose Engish Language, Enjoy and feel free to donate.

Yes, I'll update it as soon as the update is released.

I'm not able to boot to System, if I flash both ROM and GApps. However, if I flash only the ROM, it boots fine. Am I missing something here?

Use CWM6.
Warning: Only use this recovery to flash CM-12.0. Otherwise, you risk bricking your phone, or you might experience boot and stability issues!
Wipe data and cache.
Format /system (only first time coning from older recovery)
Format /data and /data/media (only first time coning from older recovery)
Flash update*.zip.
Flash gapps*.zip. You must flash gapps after every upgrade to CM12.0 since /system is formatted, wiping your previous add-ons.
Reboot phone.
First boot might take 30-40 minutes, so be patient.
After you setup your Google account, reinstall the three apps from Market in order to restore most of your apps, call log and SMS history.
Warning: Do not restore backup data of system apps!
If you restore a bad backup with cached settings in telephony.db in data/data/com.*.*.telephony it can break MMS.
It seems that restoring backups can also break Calendar sync.
Upgrades
Upgrades from previous versions of CM12.0 are the same process as install, except you do not need to wipe anything. Contrary to popular belief, you do not need to even wipe cache and dalvik-cache when upgrading between CM12.0 versions. You only need to wipe if you are doing a major upgrade, switching to a different ROM entirely, or attempting to fix bugs caused by bad backups or corrupt app data.

one question, I'm okey with no root access or no pre-built file manager installed

6. Flash the GApps.

2. WIPE CACHE/DALVIK. (I find wiping /SYSTEM can stop some issues with play store F/C’s)

Choose Arm 64. Android 5.1 - Nano

Installation:
Download ROM and Gapps by link below:
Copy on sd: ROM and Gapps.
Enter in any custom recovery.
Make Wipe data factory reset
Go to Install Zip.
If ROM and Gapps on SD card:
Choose zip from /storage/sdcard1.
If ROM and Gapps in internal memory:
Choose zip from /sdcard.
Choose ROM: mk_p8000_otaxxx.
Wait finish of installation ~3 minutes
Next. Go back and flash Gapps.
After reboot and wait - 5 min.

Guestekrnl v2.2.0 works good for my with this ROM.

hi, please read post 1.
i don't understand why this is being asked time and time again. both this and CM thread are bombarded with the same question regarding FP. it needs to be re-written pretty much from scratch. when it's ready it won't be on the does not work list here/no longer on the bug list for CM. just chill out and use the rom if you want or help write code for the FP to work

Possible Larger Icons Folder Bug ?
Is there a bug with the folders when you use large icons ? The folder size doesnt increase with the icons increased size when Im trying it. Will there be an app swap add-on function with this Rom like with eragon ? Is it possible to make the flipcase clock work in this rom ?

I've done a wipe already and still nothing I never had this problem in eragon

I already fixed app2sd on my CM code and am currently working on the flip case. Once I'll release all the sources, Mokee will also support it as it basically uses my device tree
