It's based on official, final CM7 sources and official CM7 device profile for cooper and tass. Yes, it's almost like official CM.
what the? cool., but., is that official or unofficial? look like stable?
It's unofficial, built by me, not by the CM team.
But i didn't used any unofficial sources in my build.
And YES. It's based on final, stable sources.
does it have the libaudio patch so the phone can ring on speaker while headset is plugged in?
marcin1147, in all known mods of CM7 for Gio are don't stable usb-modem-mode. Do you tested it?
sorry for out of topic., i want to ask., why everytime i flash any custom rom., then i reboot the phone on 2nd time, then go to camera, why too many black lines? any solution? sorry for bad english.,

Gingerbread/ics
Gingerbread ( CM7 based on Gingerbread ) is very stable. ICS is not that stable because our devices are Gingerbread based. So yes this CM7 is more stable than ICS

Yes, it's more stable than CM9/CM10.
Phiexz's CM is really OUTDATED, his CM is still based on CM7.2-RC1 sources when my build is based on the most recent sources.

Ye, i know it is more stable, but CM9/CM10 is better on performance, CM9/CM10 is waaaaay more faster! I remember when i used Phiexz CM 7.2, it was always lagging when i was like scrolling. And Phiexz wasn't good on gaming either. Is this good for small games, and does it lag when i scroll?

Because it's the most recent CM7 based ROM for our Gio.
Tweak list:

So does the phone ring on speaker with headset plugged in or not? I really need to know this so I don't flash my ROM for nothing again. The option to redirect ringtones to speakers does not work on ANY other cyanogenmod except Phiezx with the new libaudio the only problem is that you couldn't hear anything on that version of libaudio and on the old version it didn't work.

the error is harmless. it doesn't do anything. it's because the kernel was poorly packed but that doesn't mean it will not work.
for the language I don't know... I will still continue and make my own mod after porting is done from the same source as this one hence is the same source available for us. Add a little more tweaks from galaxy mini and rc2 will be available.

I have tried it. Great rom but there are some a bit laggy. I hope that you will release the full one

bad news though, matt's evervolv has alot of problems, thats why i ported from the eris over in heroc land. those red borders arent going to go away, and i could never get camera working with official evervolv for heroc.
id say keep trying to port from eris, they have the most going on. or look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1693659 (cm9 from source for heroc) and try to port from that and add libs from eligo for eris.

There is a rom already built in the CDMA forums by whoshotjr2006 (great rom btw ) from Cyanogenmod9 that has theme chooser, ive ported it to the gsm and it works quite well if you want me to upload it i will.
But its still quite slow.

Personal XPerience 10 (pX-CM10) is an all in one package (gapps included) with 391MB available Ram, i added some useful app's and the s3 launcher, if you want the s3 theme you can choose it at the cm theme manager.
Due the new Layout some user's including me can't install addons like the tw5 pack, etc.
with this rom i have optimized the partition layout to
/system 500 MB
/data 1,4 GB
other partitions same as stock cm10 (oneNAND)
this is the cm10 stock layout:
you can install more system apps as in stock cm10
all in one pack rom (cm10+great addons+gapps)
added some tweaks to improve the speed and usability of our phone
rock stable build & fast updates simultaneously with MONTHLY releases
391 MB Ram available (20MB more compared with original cm10)
etc.
disadvantages:
wipe if you come from an other rom
further plans:
modify the cm ota updater with an own link
i will update my rom every month

Not everything.... just can't see the point in slightly increasing /system partition. Yeah, some ppl could need it, but then there are also guys who want even more space at /system.

The rom is really fast.
With other roms I always had problems when I was looking for something on google.
The keys responded very very bad.
But the quickness and response time of your rom is really good.

goo manager tells me that there is an update for the gapps.
I have tried to flash it but nothing changed.
the info about the update comes back.
the current gapps are the "gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip".

How have you enable 1080p Playback ? Does it work with default Gallery app or with some other 3rd Party Player.
If you have changed some libs , could you please send them to me, for usage with other JB Roms , as my internet is too slow after a certain limit ( it goes down to 128kbps )

Note:
- Performance will reduce if tons of app installed, it's basically because miuihome required a lot of ram,
you can use another launcher if you want, or disable all app autorun via "App Control" on "Security Center".
you also can block some unimportant app to access internet. app which access internet too often also can reduce performance.
lbe guard(su) log also can reduce performance if you running su app a lot. clear log data of lbe guard periodically.
GAPPS already included, i have removed some unnecessary thing. you dont need to flash gapps. it can reduce performance.

Why does my phone's MAC Address keep getting changed every time I turn my wifi on or off? I was surprised since I cannot connect to my router because it has WiFi MAC Filter. And, I don't want to remove the filter since my neighbors keep connecting to it. ?? Any solutions?

Strange i'm just checked, seems i'm not having those issue,
did you install some wifi app?
try to fresh install, clean up everything, format system, cache, data. but backup first of course.
then try again your wifi before you install anything.
yes you can use any kernel, just newer MIUI need modified kernel.
i will up rc2 then.

I tried without flashing any mod, then I figured it was CastagnaIT's kernel. It messes up the wifi driver I guess. I followed standard procedure in flashing the kernel, clearing cacge, dalvik cache and fixing permissions. I was using clockworkmod 6.0.2.3.
Hey guys. I tried the MIUI rom once. But its quite laggy when i installed many apps. Does anyone know any kernel or tweaks that is suitable with the rom for a better performance?

Have you tried using another launcher? I heard that MIUI launcher requires a lot of resources, and more as you keep adding more apps. Try using trebuchet, or Nova Launcher, both available in the market. CastagnaIT's v7.3 kernel made a performance boost, and the undervolt made my phone last longer. I recommend you don't flash any more tweaks if you decide to flash that kernel, since its already tweaked, and the mods you might flash can interfere with the ROM. Nonetheless, if you know what you're doing, then flash the tweaks away!

I'm not sure, but I think you need to install the control panel first

I decided to remove all tweaks because most of people always apply another tweaks. Some of that tweaks will screw each other. Same like sir Arco decided to not apply a tweaks.
So thread this one like arco's rom.

Install Procedure for best performance
You should take a nandroid backup if anything goes wrong
1. Wipe data , cache , dalvik cache (required while changing layout)
2. Format system and datadata (required while changing layout)
3. Install CyanAOSP ROM

5. Set up the ROM and leave it alone for 10-15 mins.
6. Reboot again and enjoy.

I've a movinand chip, so am wondering if this will work okay or if it will only be good in the long-term on an inand?

As far as my experience goes, the current stock cm 4.3 is much smoother than any tweaked 4.2.2 So I guess smoothness won't be a problem here, either

I felt that too. In the 4.3 build, I use stock CM kernel, and it is super smooth and fast. In 4.2, CM kernel is slowest, so I guess a major performance improvement would be seen with a good custom kernel.

Hmm , I can save changed shortcuts , but cant set them to empty. A CM UX bug. Lets see.
My half yearly exams start from 14th August , so no more work for some time.

A small hidden thing - Long press on homescreen - > shortcuts -> Activities -> Settings -> App Ops
You can manage per app permissions . This is not yet complete , but works fine (its not a CM feature , its a stock android feature).
My titanium backup can't gain root.. and i can't reboot into recovery.. What to do? other than that rom is working great, but without the TB apps, I'm nothing

See the root fix in OP, its posted there for a reason.
And you must enable advanced reboot to see the Reboot to Recovery option.
Next time , consider searching first
