First off i would like to unfortunately admit that i am NOT a DEVELOPER. I am simply a guy who loves android, loves XDA and would like to contribute in a way that I see fitting.
I will be posting MERGE only Nightly Builds of AOKP compiled directly from source for the T989. I will upload a new rom each night for the most part not to include any day in which no new commits are merged for our device by TEAM_KANG, or if WhiteHawkx uploads a new nightly in the AOKP Nightly Thread.
I will also be doing my own cherry picked builds once i can figure out how to pull the commits. These builds are NOT to be considered official or supported by teamkang in any way shape or form, and please understand that you are flashing at your own risk!
Please feel free to post your experiences with these nightlies, try to stay on topic, and help one another if you can.
Regarding SkyRocket Kernel
A new version has been released that does not require rotation fix. Reports also show that vibration intensity has been increased. The new kernel can be foundHERE All credit goes to DAGr8. His thread can be found here Depending on the rate at which the kernel is maintained and once i talk it over with the guys in teamkang, I may merge it into my builds by default. This will happen mostly inpart based on your input. Please if you are using the new kernel let me know how its going for you

A lot of times new members come in or even older members; and they get directed to the gerrit code site for most cm10/aokp roms. Now a lot of people dont know how to read them and what all that info means. So ill break it down for everyone.

Subject: What was changed
Owner: Who submitted the change
Project: Where in the rom the change is located
Branch: Self explanatory
Updated: When it was merged to the rom
V: Its been verified to be merged
R: It has been reviewd before it was merged
Now the subject has a basic explanation of what was changed. Click on the subject and it brings you to a new screen like this:
As you can see in the top right it tells you exactly what has changed for the user.
Ex: Add lockscreen rotation as an optional rotation setting (2/2)
This will allow the user to select wether or not to use the
rotation settings for the lockscreen. This is dependent
upon the rotation setting being checked.
Thats basically all you need to know, and i hope you have succesfully learned to read your changelogs now

If you just flashed it how could you make the assumption of no rr or sod's? They could happen at any time.

I thought the same thing but SOD or RR has happened when loading up the rom so I left his statement alone.....

I have problems with the email apk from inverted gapps.. That and exchange services fcs on me.. So I backed up the original, un installed the inverted and replaced it with the standard email apk.. Works without a problem now.. That's the one and only problem I've ever had with inverted gapps

Tried that.. It gave me the same problems.. But it doesn't matter to me that I use the original because I have a theme installed that changes email to how I want anyways

I am in the final stages of building a new nightly with a repo sync time of approximately 2:45pm
As soon as I am able to test and upload I will post the new link.
You can head over to the aokp merge list to see the changes. I will add a link to the merge with timestamps do we can make a running change log.
EDIT: the new build should have some new calculator features, there new boot animation should be merged, as well as a ton of translation fixes.
God a progress bar in terminal would be great

Only bugs I've found so far is on the pictures below, the Chinese words and the icons aren't loading up. Besides that, really clean and good job!

Yea, as for right now I can't do anything about ymthe chinese characters. But for the icons not loading up, thats really weird. Maybe a reboot and if that's already been done, a reflash or bad download. But the icons load up on mine.

Man look ive been running this sincelast night just to see if its stable for wifey's phone. Its actually very nice and smooth. Not having one issue at all. Just have one question why can i not use volume keys to zoom in and out with the camera. Please ad this feature please thats all she missing. And keyboard im using swype beta. Thanks dev

Wait!! I have found a solution for the Chinese characters on the status bar, download Rom toolbox and change the font to whatever you like, it replaces the characters with English

Hybrid mode is the heart and soul of paranoidandroid. Forget tablet mode or build.prop changes! Hybrid mode will not break your phone, your apps, your market, nothing will shrink or become unusable. Entire parts of AOSP have been rewritten to make this possible, you will not get anything like it anywhere, this is the only rom on Android capable of these things.
Hybrid mode means you can control the size and the actual layout of any app individually. Keep in mind, apps bring their own layouts, they will display according to your device. That’s why apps like gmail, settings, youtube, camera, chrome, etc., transform completely when you run them on a tablet. This rom allows you to choose whatever layout you like best, we don’t fool around with DPI, we extract the actual layouts from your apk’s and you select them with a tap. Apply and you’re done. No reboot necessary. You can target anything: apps, system components, widgets, launchers, keyboards, statusbars, lockscreen, etc.
Finetune your workspace or apply hybrid settings to all your apps if you don’t like to set them up individually. Individual settings will still override this so you can still get the look you want.
For ease of use you can access hybrid properties in your recents view, this will allow you to quickly review changes. Basic things like recents, toggles, etc. have been made usable across all UI modes.
Make sure you have a stable recovery installed, i recommend TWRP, if you must, CWM

If you have an issue and you want to call our attention, here's what you do:
1. Try everything you can, find solutions for yourself. Wipe caches, revert all your settings you have made, go back to your stock Kernel, factory reset if you have to or reflash the rom. Assume that the issue is on your side and try your best to isolate it.
2. Search this thread and Cyanogenmods aswell (its our base) for possible reoccurences of your issue and hopefully solutions that may have come up.
3. If you think the issue is important enough that we should cease our work and look into it, post your issue, BUT ...
... stay friendly, do not demand anything, do not threaten
... explain your issue as precise as you can, name the exact apps and conditions that cause trouble, help us to replicate the issue right away. If we can't there's no way we can fix it and your post will simply clutter the thread
... collect evidence, keep in mind this is a developer thread so even if you are not one, do us the favor and research how to record logcat. logcat is the single most important help you can give us to resolve your issue.

Paranoid Android is my project for one v and I'm not going to let a guy like you to steal my work! I never stepped into your project even when lloir said that I should do miui on jb because he said it will never give you permissions to do it but I never did it because it was your job. I don't understand why you want to cry on a CDMA thread. Stop acting like a god damn kid and wait for the rom to be done for the GSM side. It is not enough we polluted rukin's thread with GSM stuff, you want to be a whining kid and complain about it? Go ahead, I say I'll do it, when I'll be free. Right now I'm on holidays at my parents so it will be done when I come back home which should be in 1 or 2 weeks.
When I'll do the rom, you will see it in the development thread! Right now, stop whining on rukin's thread and use roms that are already available for GSM.

Everything runs smooth no crashes or whatever .. Just lockscreen wallpaper is like 80% miss however really loving the rom theme this is a new daily for a good while ! Comments on battery soon

It's debloated so i guess livewallpapers are gone & yeah the xperia wallpaper app is giving me issues too but no big deal. Have you tried setting the wallpaper on the lockscreen using one of your own images? Works fine when I do it

Yeah the xperia wallpaper app is being funky unfortunately. I updated the second post with instructions on how to change the lockscreen wallpaper using your own image

Gps not working for me , i had the problem with some other Roms the fix would be to install another ROM then flash over it ..but that to me seems like your integrating other files for the last ROM ( aka dirty flash ) anyways i like the the ROM super smooth but need the maps to work ...some of you may not have this problem but i am ...

Change your settings and reboot
Rom is around 1.27gb

I would like to share a dialer hack that @billb23ok turned me on to a while ago when he was trying to get his I317 to connect to all t-mobiles modem frequencies (4g and LTE). Keep in mind that the video's I link to are my experiences ONLY and may not work the same for everyone because of the fact that we all have different cpu/gpu chips. Meaning the manufacturer had to make hundreds of thousands of these and they all have they're slight differences. Example: under-clocking to 100 mhz frequency and an under-volt of -50 mv are definitely acceptable for my cpu chip, but MAY NOT be acceptable for some people.
Next I would like to share some TRICKSTER MOD settings I uploaded to you tube a little while ago, it MAY help you achieve better battery life and/or performance.

Careful your phone bite you. Lol. Download and install it's a great rom. It's based off the md1. 4.3 isn't official for the t889 yet. When it is I'm sure this will be updated shortly after.
Any data drops? All 4.3 ROMS I have tried thus far have data drops when on a call or when screen turns off.

This part of the theme needs to install GoogleDialer.apk via PA module found here > http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=44417509
If you have issues with Dialer after install please refer to thread first to see if issue can be resolved. I just packaged needed apks for dialer to work on STOCK CM 11 not CM variants... But it still should work if its a CM base.You ALSO get Google CallerID... enable it in phone settings. RESULTS MAY VARY IF IT IS NOT A STOCK CM 11. You can also try to preinstall PA Dialer mod make sure it works then flash the theme. I've tested it myself multiple times running Stock CM 11 and works perfect.

BUGS
- It is probaly NOT ART compatible
Return to Dalvik and theme will be fine. ART is OK if you choose MINIMAL. Since there is no apk swap.
- If you flash Cm version do Not flash this after clean install... Set up device then flash Theme.
- Contact.apk will FC when adding info to birthday field... Working on fix.
Work Around
- Add Birthday fields before flashing theme...sync Google contacts then flash theme.
- Add Bday on other device (tablet..etc) sync contacts...Info will show in themed app.
- Added goto Google.contacts.com and edit Bday then sync conatacts

I suggest DL Team Black Out Apps for full Blk Out experience.

Looks really cool. Will try out soon. Also, in the screenshot, the holo blue in settings has been replaced by the Kit Kat light holo. So, I'm assuming you at least tried to remove as much of the holo blue as possible, right?

Wow! I really love this theme! I mean you did a great job with it! Implementing the Holo Light and all... Fantastic job!
But may I request a theme for the Google keyboard? That would be awesome
EDIT: I'm getting a Contacts and Kik F.C., and Google sync has some problems... Hold on, I think I know a fix...

OK got it. The problem was I was moving from Sense to GE, so I wiped Data then installed the GE ROM with the theme.
Solution: Wipe data and system, re- install ROM and extras --__WITHOUT THEME--__, reboot to system, complete the set up wizard, then AFTER your apps and stuff are set up, you can install the theme.
Boom.

Figured I would come over here and show some support. Also give a big thank you to op. We really need some more themers getting involved like this. As a quick note you do not have to be de-odexed. That's one of those old myths that people can't seem to shake. Themes even when they contain apps with a classes .dex will not have any effect on the odex file at all. If you are not making smali adjustments you can simply delete the classes.dex from the apk. If you are making smali adjustments you can simply leave the classes.dex and add a delete line to your updater to delete the apps odex. Also.... I can teach you how to odex single files if you want to get real proper. I only get into this because I prefer my ROMs be odexed..... The gpe will be odexed in the very near future.
