Plain TPU case w/ usable buttons - Galaxy S III Accessories

I bought a plain cheap TPU case from monoprice and liked it but the buttons were a pain to use. I cut them out and tried to use the hard buttons from a metal bumper that I bought but the cut outs on the TPU one were too big. Are there any plain TPU cases that have hard buttons? Something that is more "clicky"?

Are the buttons easy to hit? I just like my buttons to stick out like they do on stock.

I might just have to settle for the cut out type then. Thanks.

[Q] Slimmest case?

I am looking to get the slimmest case possible for my Captivate. From the research I have done so far it looks like the BodyGlove TPU or the Innocase II Surface might be the best options. Can anyone who has some experience with these cases comment on how much bulk they add to the phone?
Thanks.

The cheap Ebay/Amazon silicone rubber cases are probably the thinnest.
What's wrong with a skin?

I use the Amzer Luxe Argyle style case. It's thinner than the Bodyglove. Only problem is the power button is a bit harder to push through the skin.

Hmmm... I don't think those are very thin. In fact, from the very first post in the thread you you link to: "The case is pretty thick".

I considered it, but I think I want a bit of impact protection. I will likely skin it underneath the case so I can use it without as well.

Yeah I was going by my previous silicone cases and I just got my Body Glove and that case in the mail and it is thicker than the Body Glove.

Nope those are the thickest, the argyle one is the thinnest.

Its like the body glove right? like just slide it in?
Just slide it in I just ordered the body glove one for ten bucks off eBay. Should be here ina few days

every thought of just grabbing a full body invisiblysheild kit?
the stuff was developed to protect the blades on helicopters
military grade screen protection all around.
no bulk no case no nothing. except film,
The Body Glove Mirage has been working great for me so far. Its quite thin
I just got my argyle case off ebay in the mail. I am thoroughly impressed in the quality and fit, very well worth it for the $8.53 I paid. I like it more than my body glove TPU case.

Best TPU case?

Hey guys!
I'm looking for the 'best' TPU case out there - since there are no hard cases available for the 2000 mAh battery, I need one of those.
The case should be slim, black - and fitting like a glove - so that I don't nearly remove it when sliding against the higher parts around the screen.
Thanks!
I would put my vote on the Incipio NGP. I just got it today and it fits very snugly on the phone, and the material is thick enough to provide very good protection in case of a drop.
Thanks! Laid my eyes on this one too, looks like it's really nice.

Try a bumper? I think most of those work with the 2000 Mah.
Thanks for your reply! I already own a bumper, but I'd like to have something that protects the back a bit more than the (already thicker) battery cover.
I too have the Incipio case, been useing it for 3 months now and it has the original shape and fits perfectly.
And i have had to remove quite a few times because i had to pull my battery out, still a tight fit and good protection
In fact the Incipio is thick enough to not feel like a TPU case, it feels more like a hard case to me, but with the flexibility of TPU. Power button is more difficult to use with it on though.

That does get better with use from my experience, they seem to ease up a bit and get easier to press.
it's either that or i have just gotten used to the case buttons
I've ordered the Incipio NGP now, thanks for all your replies!
Try out the Momax iCase Pro.
It's flameproof and cheap. ^_^

New SGP slim leather case

Not too bad, but it's not leather.
This one has a similar style. Seems to be real leather.

Heh, I've spent a lot more than that on noreve and nutcase cases. I like my cases to be the best!
gotta hate these type of leather case never cover the bottom and top plastic part of the phone....

#case ology# #hybrid hard soft skin case#

So I just got my Case Ology hybrid case from Ebay..
So thought to share my reviews with everyone
And am really happy with the quality of the material!!
The main part of the case is made out of silicone gel that covers the entire phone. The 2nd layer is a hard plastic perforated shell that covers the back and sides of the silicone gel....It looks really beautiful.
The silicone gel gives a better tactile feedback while pressing the volume rocker and the power button.
Its slim and gives a good grip in the hands.
Have been an Otter Box fanboy however its a lot slimmer than those!!
Price on ebay is somewhere around $9.99
Get it from Here!!

Cool! Thanks for the post. I was actually doubting about buying one of these cases (there are a bunch of them on eBay, dealextreme, etc.) and after seeing some real pictures of them I must say I'm going to take the plunge. They look really nice hehe.
Thanks again!
Case looks pretty good!! Thanks for posting!!
Glad you liked it bub!!

But on the link, i can't see the black and red (not the same with the pictures on the first topic). It's only all in red or only all in black but not mix ...

Any TPU/decently protective case without button covers?

I'm wondering if you guys have found any solid cases, excluding those slim fit ones with just a snap on polycarbonate, that have no coverings over the buttons? I don't really trust the feeling of pressing through rubber/tpu. I recall the diztronic tpu for the htc one x had openings for the buttons, but unfortunately, the diztronic for the nexus 5 has covers over the buttons.

Check out cruzerlite.com. They have good cases with full access to the buttons and I've used them on my Galaxy Nexus in the past. You can also find them on Amazon.

Wish this was In Stock. Just got one from TUDIA that I ordered from eBay, but it has rubber over the buttons. May have to order the one above and send this one back.

Cruzerlite has 3 styles that have holes for the buttons. My favorite cases.
