After many weeks and hours of hard work and loss of sleep,
we finally have a new LiquidSmooth JellyBean v2.0 Release Candidate.
Many credits go to CyanogenMod for their device trees, framework/settings mods
and their code that was incorporated into this project.
We are an open source project feel free to look at our code on LiquidSmooth GitHub

if you coming from a different rom do i need to restore back to stock and install cwm and install zip? or if i come from a different rom i can just wipe/cache/davik and install from sdcard w cwm?

you need not go back to stock. Simply wipe data and flash Liquid rom.

Great job on this ROM. Only problems so far is after I flashed gapps when i'm all booted up I don't see maps, nav, gmail etc. in the app drawer. And my apps are not auto updating. Any ideas? Thanks

Gmail should be there. Maps, Navigation etc are not part of our gapps. They can be downloaded from the PlayStore.

Coming from RC5, should I do a full wipe?
Lots of changes since rc5, it wouldn't hurt to clean flash. Doesn't take that much longer to set up.

Wiped everything clean as always. Got an SystemUI FC on boot then two full logins during setup. Other than that no issues thus far. Very fast and smooth. Excellent work.

On RC5 did anyone experience long lock on GPS? When attempting to use navigation it would take minutes; sometimes up to 10 for me to get a lock. RC5 was the only time I experienced this. Just wondering if that was fixed. Installing now also.

Note: Only thing I see wrong is when you plug in your device and it tells you it is plugged in as a storage device, the language is not in English like everything else. Otherwise then that it is awesome so far.

For me the link only works on my computer.
First bug found.I cannot change I/O scheduler.If i select deadline,nothing happens.Everything else seems to work for now.

I guess I have found my new home, I am going to stay...

I think it is because of that theme you have installed. Remove it and then check.

No,its definitely ROM bug.With 320dpi it works fine with default and custom theme too.With 240dpi both with bug.Its the same bug as in XenonHD ROM (they have same function for dpi change).For example SlimBean has not this bug when set 240dpi.

Ok I get what you mean.
The thing is that your device is natively set to support 320DPI.
Its another thing that developers like to play around and provide options to set different DPIs. We have too.
But support for DPIs other than the native cant be provided.
is there an option on this ROM to change just the navbar dpi size only like on xenon and cna?

This ROM is based on the Android Open Kang Project (AOKP). The idea to start a ROM based off AOKP with added features for us was started out of curiosity and boredom. We started compiling ROMs for personal use and later started sharing them. After sharing it with a few people, we decided to take it a step further and fine tune the way we do things. Since then, is been nothing but fun and a true learning experience for all of us involved. We've received high praise from not only users but fellow developers of other ROMs that enjoy seeing things done the right way. Our 4.2.2 version made it onto various devices to include the HTC One, Galaxy Nexus, HTC EVO 3D, HTC EVO LTE, Nexus 4 and some other devices. We hope to do the same with our 4.3 version.

thanks dastin for the data fix and just helping any time i have questions
- Have a custom recovery (TWRP)(CWM)Make sure its the newest version for 4.3 or you will have serious issues
- Wipe everything but your external/internal storage
- Move the ROM zip to your phone
- Flash it and reboot
- Once the ROM boots, reboot back into recovery
- Flash the recommend PA GAPPS and ENJOY!!

A. Make sure you did a clean install
B. try to track down the issue on your end make sure its not restored apps or an app that you installed thats not playing nice with the ROM
C. get me a logcat of the issues, in other words help me help you

Did you include the beerbong properties.conf??
Reason I'm asking is because you shouldn't be getting any UI crashes from the hybrid engine....
If so, was it HDPI or XHDPI?

yea everything with the rom is awesome but im not getting any sounds either. I tried to change them and its like its playing so quietly. If you hold your phone to your ear you can hear it but its super quiet.
I'm running another build right now that should fix the sound and hopefully the ui crashes
