How to instal:

Why are u rud?Aways and others dont look at this guy.
You know some people like these kind of roms.If you like the s3 rom , why wouldnt you flash aways rom or this one?it saves you time from installing cm10 and s3 addons.Please , everyone on xda wants to offer something.Learn not to insult people.
Looks amazing man, will flash this after my vacation. Is that the stock S3 messaging application? Is so: awesome! Did you port the contacts application aswell?
Most of GS3 roms i install,goes lagy and no smooth.

EDIT: This is a very strange rom. Have anyone looked into zip? There are two system, two META-INF, and in system there are two copy of all folders. It's crazy.

Can i use any Devil3 kernel on this Rom?
Hey im interested in trying ur rom. Just wanna know if there some kind of notification for message, except sound. I used some JB roms and when I receive message i only hear sound, without turning on screen, and also when i turn it on theres no some shortcut to enter msg, i gotta pull down notification bar and look at it. I know its not such a big thing, but i really hate that.. Oh and also is it multilanguage rom? specifically im interested for serbian, or srpski how its called on android. Sorry for big post and thanks for answers.
The thing that really shocked me at this Rom, wasn't your spelling or the weird names ("Touch Wizzard luncher"), it isn't the huge size of the Rom (almost 300MB) or that you are having 2 /system/ folders, it is that people are telling things like "OMG this is in fact the best Rom for i9000". I had a look at your weird installer script, and I think I am having a clue why you are having problems with some Gapps. Just copying the optional folder to the phone doesn't mean that you install it! Also, please don't try to copy both /system folders at the same time and overwrite each other. Nice thing that you make your own Roms, but please try to get an idea of what your installer does before you release a Rom next time.
P.S: I am no hater, and I don't want to make your project bad, But in this case I want to suggest the users to don't flash this Rom, at least I wouldn't. It could become serious when you are installing such weird things.
Battery drains in you rom extremely fast....
For ten hours of usage,
Android OS sucks 81 % of the whole battery usage...
Other than that its a good fast stable rom..
would be great if it had video calls

F1 GalaxyNexus is a ROM built entirely from Google's ICS source code. The main idea behind this was to give users the experience of pure ICS as it is on the Galaxy Nexus with no visual changes and ZERO bloatware or any 3rd party app. F1 GalaxyNexus is just plain AOSP ICS with under the hood tweaks, optimizations and the features to make AOSP a little bit better. Big Kudos to Teamhacksung as without them this ROM was not possible. All,
I'm using this rom and I'm surprised how snappy it is! :good:
Example: in wordfeud, entering a word that is incorrect, it would take up to 2 sec before the popup would show. This was using Slim, CM9, MIUI.
With this rom this popup is instant.
After the first boot, I signed in with my google account. The setup stated it would restore my stuff. After the setup finished it didn't. I used my Titanium Backup backup, so I have it all back.
Happy so far. I'm going to test the battery life today.

Actually i created cleanlegacy to replace my favorite aokp Clean rom who has been discontinous by its dev. Cleanlegacy is like release candidate for this aokp X-Tra. I change the icon and also added some cherry the i decide to change the name before share it here

anyone get a black screen when record 720p video? I got 2 report on that. Try to check semaphore setting if the bigmen setting is ticked. For me its working just fine... For those who has the problem please reflash the F4K mod in his thread. Sorry fir the problem

No, I have no problems with the cam (video recording). Playback works flawless too.
For what it is worth, I own a European, first batch Galaxy s with 16GB internal storage.

Can't settle on a rom... Like one rom, but wish it had features of another... Well look no further...
PACman is a unique rom.
We have picked the best features from CM10, Aokp and PA and combined them in a single rom so you get the experience you deserve
To enjoy the features of every available project without the hassle of flashing regularly.
The Rom is rock stable for an average user but keep in mind the Rom is in WIP stage so expect some minor hickups but we are trying our best to resolve these issues
This is built entirely from source so its not a port, which in my opinion makes it a little more stable as its been made specifically for this device...
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Please note that the Paranoid team have kindly requested that I don't include ParanoidPreferences.apk in the build (which is entirely understandable given the amount of time and effort they put into making it). If you want it in the build, I can't stop you putting it in yourself, so download the PA rom and get it... don't forget to thank them though...

INSTALL PROCEDURE:- Download ROM and GAPPS 4.1.2 or if you prefer Latest GAPPS 4.2
- Place rom and gapps of your choice to root of your internal sdcard

- In advanced wipe dalvik cache and fix permissions

We have been asked to leave out PA PREFS APK from the rom and out of respect we have removed it. However this doesnt stop you from doing it yourself
- extract it for my PA rom in this forum - i use root explorer but es file explorer is ok
- copy the paprefs apk to /system/app then reboot
- if it not present change permissions to r/rw then reboot and should be fine
BUGS
Below you should see 2 reports from the guys you tested the initial release however I will post fixes to the most common ones as they report them
- Superuser DPI is very big. to fix this download and install supersu app from play store. after installing the supersu app open it and update all binaries. once done delete superuser from app menu or remove superuser apk from /system/app using root explorer

AOKP settings is much smoother now.
Super user DPI is still present.
Camera,Wifi,Bluetooth etc etc .-everything working properly.

Yea of course it is stable..as these are pulled out of android 4.2 system dump , deodexed and compiled to run on any jelly bean devices.. you can give it a try

Only the per app DPI doesn't work without it. And it necessary to have a bugless tablet mode.

read the testers reports
its the interface stuff to change to phablet or tablet ui. the files for that are missing but if you replace the apk with one from my PA rom it should bring those features back. if not wait for future releases as i am sure at some point it will be added in
If you take the paranoid folder from system/etc in the PA rom and transfer into this you will have all the settings too... the config files are in there

I installed it, and it seems to be working. Torch in the notification bar works, fb and browser work, but the notification led still doesn't blink for me. Otherwise nice rom, will be testing it for a while.
EDIT: My camera works with 12 mpx with 4.2 gapps. I also have 2 sets of toggles in notification drawers atm, one aokp and one pa/cm. Torch in pa/cm i much brighter so i disabled aokp toggles
After some further picking i saw thet many of the toggles are duplicated, not only the notification ones, but power menu to.
Also vertigo should i replace the pac files in system>etc with PA ones to get the PA customization?

remember guys that this rom and our work is not meant to compete with any others as all the devs here have contributed to this in their own way. without the guys that were already here we would not be here! I bought an XS and upon checking the forum i saw that all the custom roms that most devices had as std were missing here.................that wasnt fair! we thought why shouldnt XS have all that and more hence we came!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! please enjoy the roms and dont forget to post feedback good or bad. show the other forums out there how cohesion and co operation can exist on XDA...................... thanks again guys for all you support!

the old file has old tw launcher and I have included the new one...and going forward I am going to maintain it....
few users have mentioned that they faced some issue...so I am starting from ground and testing it so no more issue....
I would suggest to flash this on your rom not after flashing the old addon....

I just put manually touchwiz launcher files and taskmanager on Pawitp's 4.2 preview but anyway Ugoms just confirmed above that all went fine for him.
It's just that the task manager is the one that gives FC when you touch menu button.. you know the story
after installing on 4.2 20121125 + gapps from pawitp stuck at android logo. so doesn 't work for me.

I guess it's due to /system that is full like on the ancient thread but this time it's not that the zip is that big,it's due to little system space left on 4.2 preview +gapps.
Try to remove some stuffs from your system before you flash the mod (system/vendor/pittpatt folder only serves for faceunlock and is usually big,you may not need it..)
And if you put tw launcher in your system/app you'll also need his lib (XTRAS/system/lib in the zip that goes to /system/lib on your device,perms 644 rw-r--r-- as usual and it should work).

Mate this trully seems to be a great rom.
Pro - nice interface
- snappy fast
- everything seems to be working perfectly
Cons - none so far
Wifi is working , cannot test data / / bluetooth / gps because i don`t use
Nice that it has DSP Enhancer included
Camera / Camcorder working perfectly
Nice music player
Tweaks is not working because of kernel
Gallery is extremely fast
I also like the big contact picture when calling , even tough the quality is not that good but a good thing to have
Good selection for the launcher , i always use Holo
I will make a full battery charge with battery calibration and will come back tommorow for the battery impression.
If battery life is also good i think i will keep this as my daily rom

Came back with the battery life. Well this looks very good to me.
I had 40 minutes of voice calls , about half hour of music , a little wifi , about 50 messages sent , and some messing around changing settings , installing / uninstalling stuff. Battery seems impressive

swap is neither working for me in all roms running phiexz kernel.maybe phiexz kernel doesn't supports swap.
After 24 hours and 30 minutes with 2 hours wifi use 1 and a half hour voice calls , messages and about half hour of playing , the battery is almost empty , still a little more remaining . So i`m definitely keeping this rom
Arabic RTL fix patch was uploaded,for those who have facing Arabic spellings problems,one more thing mount /system first then flash the patch
How to move apps to ext?

There is a little bug on theme..unproper sizes..and i would like to have ICS Animations instead of STock.
