Hi to all. I would change the stock rom (Denmark version) of a HTC One X with a generic rom with Italian language. Someone can give me a hand? Thanks in advance!

do you mean another stock rom with different language? if i'm not wrong, sense roms have many languages installed... cyanogenMod roms have them for sure, about sense i'm pretty sure too, so you just have to search in settings.. at least, flash another sense cooked rom, because i think that there is no difference between italian and denmark RUU, they are EUROPEAN, except for branded phone, in this case you can't install european version until s-off achieved, so you have to use cooked rom

If you're asking how to s-off, you just cant, unless you know something we don't, in which case. REVEAL YOUR SECRETS!

MoreLocale 2 could be a solution
Maybe this will help: change system language.
Search for 'MoreLocale 2' app at Google Play.
Cheers.

Where do i get 2.*.405.2 firmwares from? Also, can i directly flash firmware or do i need to install hspl first? thanks
Guess what....morelocale2 worked perfect for me, i installed russian but typing input is still english. Any ideas how to fix that? Thanks
First - you need root
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=709146
then flash any rom based on 2.10.405.2, 2.29.405.2 firmware

With a gold card as the OP is branded
There is no need to change language of the phone interface to use russian keyboard, you just need to add it from keyboard settings, i.e. international keyboard (you are using froyo, right?). i use russian, english and lithuanian languages ( mind you, i just use english alphabet to type in lithuanian), so once you activate 2 or more keyboards, tap on microphone button on the keyboard switches languages. I'm using stock froyo with htc sense.

[Q] Same languages after flashing new rom

Hi All
I have 2 desires one with vodaphone logo bought from germany and one original stock from england, i made a gold card and flashed both, the one from england could see that almost all languages were in the package, but the other one always the same language pack that were before, i tried several roms from europe with no luck, no more languages...i tested all the WWE roms from this link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=695667
i know that i can add more languages with morelocale2, but i want the languages as standard from the rom....
Any one can help?

What are the software information for the devices? (version, kernel etc.)
If the same, it is possible, because of the Vodafone branding.

sorry...i messed a little
the vodafone one could be unbranded and all languages were installed, but the original one same language...it has hboot 0.93 and v. 2.29.405.2
by the way i flashed both handsets with same file,,, isn´t strange that they don´t get same lps after flashing?
That's strange. So you say that it can be unbranded. So try that. And see if that helps. Also backup your data and do a full wipe and re-flash it. If you flash the same file, it must have the same languages.
Actually this thing is kinda weird.
I did that, but same result...the strange thing is that i don´t get all languages on the stock phone, but all on the vodafone, although am using same flashfile on both phones....do u know if there is a way 2 backup languages from desire ( i don´t want 2 use morelocale2)

[Q] Best custom rom for Wildfire with croatian language support

I would like to know if there is some custom rom that has croatian language support, I mean that the hole android interface is in croatian language. If this kind of rom exists I would be very gratefull if someone could put links through which i could download rom and if you could explain me how to install that rom. Btw. I have Froyo 2.2 installed on my HTC Wildfire
Hi mate if you already bought your phone with froyo 2.2,then you won't be able to install custom rom's.you'll need to root your phone if you want to install custom rom's and android 2.2 froyo hasn't been cracked for the wildfire. Your gonna after wait for it to be cracked.
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA App
yeah, I read about that and it is not a problem, I will wait until someone crack's froyo for wildfire. But im interested in custom rom that has croatian language support because official rom doesnt have that. I found some roms like cyanogenmod that have 50+ languages but I couldn find the list of supported languages.
The interface is not translated, but you can get locale strings in your native language. E.g. „petak“ instead of „friday“ in your Calendar app. You can see in the attached image Calendar app in Serbian.
„Bolje išta nego ništa“
thats no good for me. I would like find some rom that could have bosnian or croatian or serbian but in latin writing so I could give my wildfire to my dad and take his Iphone4. He doesnt know english so android is no good for him.
i need custom rom with croatian language... did u have any luck finding it yet ?
and one off-topic question: inside that htc is android version 2.2.1, does this mean i can't root phone? :/

[ROM]RUU_Marvel_HTC_Europe_1.33.401.2_Radio_47.10.35.30 29H_7.46.35.08_release

Enjoy!
Thanks for the rom mate, Is this one better than 1.30.401.0 rom?
Stock Europe ?
Sent from my HTC A510e using Tapatalk
Yes, it's the one I use on my Wildfire S and I live in France.
Is it really worth ?
Sent from my HTC A510e using Tapatalk
I've noticed that this Rom has a bug which keeps redownloading the last thing you downloaded everytime you reboot, 1.30.401.0 is free from the bug.

I had [ROM release] Wildfire S small Leizi 8-24-11 running and installed this one [ROM]RUU_Marvel_HTC_Europe_1.33.401.2_Radio_47.10.35.30 29H_7.46.35.08_release ... Then i lost my Recovery access...
Any ideia ?
Due to the 1.33.401.2 bug, I downgraded my Wildfire with 1.30.401.0 version.
It seems that the 1.30.401.0 ROM is smoother and faster than the 1.33.401.2 one.
Now, I will test the battery autonomy.
Was this rom (1.33) installed on your phone when you have purchased it?
I maybe want to downgrade my phone to make it faster. And I hate also that bug.
You don't need root to put this rom on your phone?

About the original ROM: Both have the download bug !
About the speed: This last update is much more smoother and stable.
About the root: We all need root acess to live
I can confirm that the 1.30.401.1 Europe Rom does NOT have the download bug, I've been using it for about a week and I have had no problems at all.
does anybody knows if this rom contains italian language? Thanks

Yes, but even that you can not see it. There is like that, that some CID numbers are stricly connected to some regions of the world.
For example Phone buyed in UK will dont have Polish language (available from list), even that - that same Phone buyed in Poland, with that same firmware, will have diferent languages (list of).
Solution for that is SuperCID using XTC Clip or use MoreLocale2 from android market.
so my polish phone remains like this with english language, and I'm losing my time tryng to change it in italian phone. If I find an italian rom, like tim, maybe something can change?
morelocale2 is not god for my phone,it change just a little thing

No, you get it wrong.
If you put this ROM (with contains Italian language), even you will not have it on list to choice, this language is still in your phone.
Then with MoreLocale2 you choice your language, and this program will in first place use build in language (that is in WWE rom), and you will get all translated.
If you run MoreLocale2 on ROM that doesn't contains your language (regionalised ROM), it will use his (program) translation, with is rubish.
So, put WWE rom (this on forum) and even if you will not see your language on list to choice, using MoreLocale2 you wil force to use build in Language.
In my Desire Z works just like that, becouse even using XTC Clip, I don't have full language list, even in ROM are all. In other two phones, using XTC Clip I'm see whole list.

Nordic stock rom for Desire HD?

Hi,
I've been trying to search the entire forum through and find information of stock roms that would include Finnish as language. I have tried and flashed several stock rom versions from 1.32 to the latest but cannot choose Finnish as language on them as it does not seem to be available on those WWE versions.
So the question is that do I need a specific stock rom like some dedicated Nordic version perhaps? Strange is that there seem not be any here at the forum... At least I haven't yet found any... Can somebody please help me if you have any information regarding this? Thanks.

Sounds odd mate, WWE RUU should include them all. It has Danish, Swedish and Norwegian at least. I know it's not really helping, just seems odd that Finnish is left out.
Just checked on this custom ROM (LeeDroid 3.2.1) which is based on WWE Gingerbread, and it has Finnish. Are you sure you're not just overlooking it? Sorry, might be a stupid question, but it seems really odd if it isn't included

Thanks for the info.
Funny thing is that when I install for example "Custom Locale" application from Android Market I get to choose Finnish as a language and then everything seems normal.
Before unrooting I had Radio S-Off and Eng S-Off installed and CoreDroid´s latest custom rom and then I revert back to stock using Radio S-on method found here at forum. Does this has anything to do with this problem perhaps?
