I really need to get an answer here because DHL is really not helping me out with my parcel...and it's really confusing.
This is my parcel log:

It's been stuck on the last status for 2 days now. So I first called up the aus DHL and they told me my phone has not even left UK yet.
I then call up UK DHL and they told me it has been scanned and left UK. It has also been scanned when arrived in the UAE and it should be in aus by now. However, she can't find any record of the phone on the system after the scan in UAE . She said she can't open a case for a trace from the UK, so she asked me to call aus UK.
I called and the aus UK told me that there has been a transit delay in UAE. They said the custom there will check the shipment today and should be on it's way to aus later tonight. She then told me that if my tracking doesn't get update after tonight, t I will need to call back tomorrow and they'll need to open a case for tracing for me.
Why would a transit delay be so long (2 days!?) and why bother to mention about opening a tracing case if they are so confident that my parcel hasn't been lost? Is DHL reliable?
If any of you have bought the note 2 from clove and was dispatched by DHL on Monday the 1st. Could you please share whether or not you have recieved your phone or are you in the same situation as me as well atm?

I got mine today, it goes to singapore from the UK, then Aus, but they dont seem to update or scan in Singapore... id be worried if its longer than 3 days delay... mine shipped out on the 1st OCT.

So if they didn't update or scan in Singapore...how did you know that it went to Singapore? Did you call them up to find out? Why do they transit parcels to the same country at different places?
Do you mind showing me your log before it arrived to aus?

I have called them the fourth time tonight....they still have no idea where it is. She thought it was still in the UK. She open a case to trace it for me....

Just called up clove, it was JOHN that answer the phone....great customer service....he said he will look into to this case for me personally as well and well let me know tomorrow if DHL still can't answer me.
If the phone is lost..then a replacement will be sent to me....
The question then will be: do I go with DHL again?

yeah sorry, been playing with the note2... i called up DHL and they said it has left singapore and will be in aus next morning, that what i was told the night before my note2 came.

I called O2 and was told the release date had been put back to the 4th November and more suprisingly they have not got a price yet.
There will be no trade in or upgrade promo from teh XDA2

Allegedly, I was successful in ordering one yesterday (3rd) - I was charged £279 (based on my tariff/upgrade - it does vary depending on your tariff).
However, as they had 'problems with the computers' my GM order number has not yet arrived.....
I was also told he 4th, And i rang a few times, but no stock (of corse) my last call was at 4pm and i was then told its been put back until the 9th

I called the local O2 shops - they are so crap!
The one that 2 days ago said it would be in on Friday now says they are not sue in until December. Another simply said they had heard nothing about it.....jesh!!! Neither of them could give me any idea of price...

its also available in the philippines now. Im thinking of getting it, but im already using xda2. the landscape orientation for spreadsheets and other softwares may prove to be very useful, other than that, id say the built in wifi is a welcome edition, im not a fan of the qwerty keypad though.
i was wondering also ifthis unit can support blackberry as well

I have bought one sim free from Here they have been assured by O2 today that they will be the first in the UK to stock them and that delivery will be shipped next monday.
I personally can't wait until Tuesday, this is the first phone with everything i ever wanted in one device, i am ditching my Treo 600 and palm for this little baby.

I got my XDA II from Uplands last year and I can't fault them, so I'd be happy to get an XDA IIs from them as well, and their prices are certainly good!
Could you let us know when you get yours? I'll be interested to see when their stock starts to come through. Gonna call them now and ask about upgrades....
Edit: update on upgrades - I could have one, but it would cost me £285 cos I'm not a particularly heavy user.
Yeah uplands are good cant go wrong with them + they are very competitive in price. Stock will be due in on monday 15th nov.. cant wait!

I've just spoken to a few O2 shops in London area, they either tell me they have no idea when they're due or that 12th of November is release date and not to expect anything for at least 2 weeks after then :\
I've got 4 phones due an upgrade with an O2 reseller (unfortunately not direct with O2, corporate account with CarphoneWarehouse so will probably delay things further) - itching to get my hands on one!
Does anyone have any idea when this device will be available in the Netherlands? Through one of those mobile provider? (T-Mob, Orange, Telfort?) It seems that its out in UK and Germany and some places in US and other countries, but not yet here in NL, I've checked several stores and can't find convincing replies. I am keen to check this one out.

Just spoke to Uplands - they have said -
"Yes, O2 advised us yesterday that the release of
the handsets has been delayed again, and to expect delivery by around Monday of next week {15th Nov}. Unfortunately that means we cannot yet guarantee a delivery date"

I would love to get a XDA III, but getting it in a black version would be really cool.
I got my tracking noticed last night that my Galaxy Nexus was on the way. The next update said "Clearance Delay". I rang DHL and they said that the package was going through a Standard Customs Clearance which takes 24 to 48 hours. Not too happy about that since items normally clear customs immediately.
So my questions are:
1. Have any Aussies had this same issue.
2. What's the chances that the package has been halted because the paperwork is wrong.
Mine came through without any customs delays or hassles. According to DHL clearance took about 1.5 hours from the time it reached Sydney. Who did you order from?

yes, i'm from austria, but i live very close to germany. i used the adress of one of my german friends to pre-order it, because mediamarkt's online store wouldn't let me change the country.
i don't know when u can get it in austria, but there is a shop called cyberport.at which says the one x is available for shipping at 5th april. t-mobile austria offers it starting at 21st april

Pre-order date: 13th of April, payment right away via PayPal 749€. (unlocked EUR sim, ordered on the HTC website)
After I don't know how many escalations, finally someone called me on 5/10 saying that they couldn't give any delivery date confirmation of my pre-order.
After long discussion, we agreed together to cancel my pre-order and get refund of my money.
The same day I bought the device in a retail store (BE).
I got confirmation from HTC that my pre-order was cancelled and they will refund asap.
Today' surprise : the pre-ordered device got delivered at home !?!...
I have now 2 devices...
however in case I still want a refund, HTC can arrange a return and refund as soon as they receive the device

Just called Digital River office in Germany. Finally, I spoke to someone with knowledge!
HTC postponed their delivery so that Digital River Gernany has no stock of the Glacier Silver model. Stock refill is scheduled for Friday, shipping will start by Monday next week (via UPS). The delivery will originate from Netherlands or Germany, he could not tell. This means, that delivery will likely be tuesday or wednesday next week. Dear HTC, 17th or 18th of May is not "early May"

Saturn and MediaMarkt has a lot of HTC 10´s, I also bought it there.
Even after they are sold out, 2-3 later they have new ones.
Bought mine yesterday (19.05.) from Notebooksbilliger. Saturn and MediaMarkt both display them as arriving soon...

As I understood, they do have some stock but it is reserved for preorders, so they wont sell to people that want to buy it directly from their shops untill all preorders have been shipped.
It does make sense to first send them out to people that preordered instead of keeping them waiting but still...

Will the phone even work in Europe, if ordered from US? I'm talking about network compatibility and power adapter (different voltage and freq. in US)

I did chat with razer first before ordering. The phone works in europe and you can order a europe adapter at there store extra. The different voltage is in the adapter so it will work.
